A lot of people don't seem to like this Marsupilami, I guess I can understand if they enjoyed the comics and original version...
But for me, I grew up watching the little guy in this cartoon in the mornings, it was one of my favs as a kid...I never even knew of his true origins until a year ago or so
- Humor was way less cartoonish, and I sadly must say - way more clever.
- Marsupilami was much more agresive and very strong (he could break out metal door from a helicopter with his bear hands) In the books his favorite food was pirana.
-He does not just eat piranas, But he also eats fruits as well. I remember he ate banana with Maurice torts the end of "Normzan of the Jungle," And Marsupilami said to Maurice "Are we buddys who are waiting to happen, or what?"
Nice animation but this series don't have much to do with the oryginal comics it was base opon.
In the books :
- Marsupilami could only say "HUBBA" and didn't speak (and WASN'T undestood by humans)
- There where plenty of characters who don't appear in those cartoons. Mainly - Marsupilami had whife nad kids.
- All suporting cast in the cartoons aren't from the books. There was a evil hunter who was Marsupiliami #1 foe, but he don't have much to do with Norman
Is there an episode with Stewart and Eduardo in it?

I swear, Disney used Stuart's design and character when they were working on Tarzan. Because he is almost a splitting image of Tantor!

The elephant looks a bit like Abu from Aladdin doesnt he?
And Marsupilami reminds me of Timon somehow when he says we're supposed to laugh!

Huh... was Dan Castellaneta one of the voice actors in this cartoon? Stewart's screams sound very similar to Homer Simpson's. :P

@Neotails8762 good ear! That is Dan Castellaneta! He appeared in Marsupalami twice as Stuart the elephant.

The Marsupilami cartoon series was different than in the comic book:
-Marsupilami can speak (not just saying HOUBA)!
-Supporting characters were different (For example: Marsupilami had a sidekick gorilla named Maurice).
-The Evil hunter was Norman (rather than Bring M Back Alive).
