I've been using this brand for about a year. I have the honey one right now, but I like the plain unscented one the best. LOVE them! I haven't had any breakouts forever and my skin doesn't overdry, overoily or anything. Good stuff!
@indigolady52 Hi, that can happen with legs when you don't moisturize regularly. You'll want to exfoliate by gently rubbing with a wash cloth coated with a little soap, or you can use an exfoliator. My favorite is to mix some sugar and olive oil and rub it on your legs to help remove the dead skin cells. You can purchase an exfoliator at any drug store. St. Ives has several as does Neutrogena. Follow up with a rich moisturizer or olive oil within 5 minutes of coming out of the shower.
@indigolady52 Going forward be sure you moisturize your body as soon as you come out of the shower. Please see my natural moisturizer video if you want to use olive oil, if you want to use a skin cream, I can recommend Vaseline Intensive Rescue Fragrance Free. It contains petrolatum which really helps to seal in moisture.
Hi....I was so glad to see your video on the glycerine soaps...can't wait to go by WF and give them a try...I was wondering if you would also be able to suggest something for me to use on my legs...they are very rough and always very dry...so different from the skin on the rest of me...so any advice?
I watched your previous video and bought those soaps from Vita Cost. Both my husband and I love them. I also was at Whole Foods several weeks ago and purchased the 365 soaps; however, I found them to be more drying than the soaps you recommended in your first video. I have now ordered more of the the glycerin soaps from Vita Cost and won't be purchasing the ones from Whole Foods. I liked that they lathered more, but maybe because of that they are more drying. Just didn't work for us!!!
@cindadee Hi, I'm so glad you like the Clearly Natural Glyercin Soap. They're fantastic and wonderful for anyone who has dry skin. My guess as to why you found the 365 more drying is that they probably contain a lower amount of glycerine. Glycerin is the wonderful humectant that makes these soaps so special and Clearly Natural boasts a very high glycerin content. They list glycerin as the very first ingredient in the ingredients on the bar. The 365 bar lists glycerin as the second ingredient!
@cindadee By the way, I want to thank you for sharing your feedback. I appreciate the comparison between the two from someone who is sensitive to drying.
@priscyore Hi, no I don't. I've have never used any type of bar soap on my hair. I would love to hear any feedback from viewers who have. Since bar soap is not specifically made with hair and scalp in mind, I am concerned it could be irritating to the scalp as well as leave a residue as it mixes with salts and oils in the hair. There is also the question of ph regulation which is done for shampoos.
My skin is very sensitive and very dry, do you think I can use this soap? I can order it on Ebay. Thank you very much for your wonderful tips internationally appreciated.
@Augustiiine Hi, I think you would love it. I would suggest you purchase only one to test it out and see how you like it. It's only a few dollars so no great loss if you find you don't like it.
Have you tried the 365 shampoos and conditioners? I bought one of each last month and my husband and I loved them.

Soap looks great. I'm also using soaps like yours. Much more friendly to the environment, because there is no plastic bottle for packing.
