That silver Aerovette has got to be one of corvettes greatest designs ever. They should've marketed it as a standalone brand if they were afraid of tarnishing corvettes rep as the quintessential front engined v8 of America.
Why has Corvette messed with mid-engines but never produced one? I think they would finally get respect from the global market if they produced the one with all wheel drive and steering along with mid-engine.
They want to keep it as a front engine model and keep it affordable. They should make a nice mid-engine supercar and keep the vette the way it is but they seem to have a problem with besting their vette. GM did this when Carroll shelby approached them with the cobra idea too and then the cobra that they passed up started killed them on the race track. The vette is great and probably my favorite car ever but it is a bit annoying to see GM staying away from anything that might outperform it.
rated your video as awesome, I stumbled across a site that might interest ya'll. showoffyourwheels dot com . They have heaps of event coverage there. Check it out.
Yeah the tiger shark is the shit, and the last one i used to have a hot wheel of when i was little, it was gold tho. i would take any of them, im a die hard vette fan!
WHY didn't they make these for at least limited production?! I mean, we'd have stayed in the 'super car' business if they kept up with these cars! Why leave them at only being concepts? That's just dumb! They could've made a lot of money, and gained a way bigger name for themselves if they produced these, even in limited numbers.
yeah it is sad,jk, they already imported our American muscle cars, yeah thats right the cars that powned back when europeans were still building sow(shit on wheels)
As far as I know, the name is still up in the air. I've heard SS and ZR-1 more than any. Blue Devil is just a nickname I believe. I'm pulling for ZR-1
Thanks for the comments and you may be right about the Delorean idea. And the Tiger has a lot in common with the new Z06s. please give the clip a rating if you don't mind.

It was actually John DeLorean from Pontiac that designed the C3 Corvette. Look up the Pontiac Banshee.

The Aero Vette may have been one of the best ever and could have been the basis of the C4. One year it was at the Corvette Museum in KY.

Corvettes definitely still hold 'super car' status in the world today. The z06 is a remarkable super car on any price level.

The tigershark is awesome, and interestingly enough, I think that aluminum 73 corvette had an impact on John Delorean.
