@meguiarsasia i think your products are alot better than those expensive brands and plus i think your products are awsome but you should show it doing somthing harder to remove because i honestly think your products can do better keep up the good work
just kind of curious to the whole detailing process and anyone can answer, i have an 09 red civic, im driving all year round throughout lake effect snow in the winter. would you recommend this in the spring to get a shine back? also does this actually wear some of the clear coat away and then just polish it back up? or what does the term rubbing compound mean?
Also when you were applying you put some one the pad at the very beginning, did you add more or just use that amount.
I've bought the rubbing and polishing compound. After applying the wax, i waited for it to dry as i followed the instructions. Ok, once its dried, its kinda hard to wipe it off. Is it suppose to be like this?
@HS2707 these products are not waxes and should not be left to dry.....you rub them in til they are almost gone and then wipe off...no need to let them dry.
@HS2707 no it is not see what happen was u have to get it off as much as u can before you let it dry it cshouldnt be chunky but it also is good to buy a little 19 dollar buffer from your local pawn shop
@ShaneRaweewon technically speaking using regular wax should be more safe for your clear coat then rubbing and polishing compound polishing compound is mainly used to buff off others paint off your vehicle when uve been swiped works best with buffers
@ShaneRaweewon yea it doesn't work for bumpers since bumpers get to the really crappy part of the ground best thing to do is take your bumper off sand it down if its not something special you care about and repaint it in your garage or in friends garage this is really easy for bumpers specially if your cars a older model older model plastic bumpers usually dont shine after the years of wear and tear.
If i have to use the Clay bar kit on my car, then after that would i use this rubbing and polish compound, then it would be ready for wax? Or would i clay bar then polish then just wax?
Also is this rubbing and polishing compound supposed to be applied to the whole car? or just trouble areas with scratches?
Im considering buying the products shown, so when im applying them would it be safe to apply the compound to the whole car then wiping it clean? or just go panel by panel?
these two products are for hand use only....ultimate compound and swirlx are for machine use as well and with a machine you will always get stronger results than hand only.
is ultimate compound allowed on freshly painted bumper bar?

steps are clay, then these products if need be followed by waxing or sealant. These products are to be used panel by panel and only on trouble areas.
