  • Six people will be terminated.

  • US needs to cut spending on military.u cannot support such large amount of troops around the globe and act like a world police

  • @maxlol0 Yes, military spending needs to be cut, and i'm so happy Ron Paul is emphasizing this in his discussions

Ron Paul 2012 or economic downfall!

  • We need more Uzi's and Choppa's!!!!

  • Shortly after making this statement, he pulled out a pair of Uzis and wasted everybody in the room.

  • such a good man

  • Wow. I wish he could run for president.

  • I'll be bach.

  • Infrastructure will be the least of your problems!

  • Our infrastructure has fallen. I can think of more than a dozen countries I have visited in the last few years that have far better infrastructure than we do. We have trillions of dollars to spend bombing rat-hole countries but not even a few billion to improve our own. Sickening to say the least. less

  • @sangolt88 guns or? world of choices :)

  • Woah. Strangest thing ever, to watch people discuss politics like proper people. Here in Britain, the politicians just shout at eachother like a bunch of immature kids.

  • @dannycaller

UK dont understand politics, its just full of left or liberal day dreamers. Arnie's roots is from the axis countries, and they DO know what they doing, Germany, Italy, Japan.

  • @dannycaller this video is just one exception :D

  • @dannycaller

Well hehe, I find it funny because you definitely need to visit Serbia ;) Here they even throw their shoes sometimes at other politcians or play spider game on laptops lol. But yeah, same thing here, idiots.

  • @dannycaller Which makes it charming to other countries. US political debating in Congress are more effective than sleeping pill if you want to fall asleep...

  • I had no idea how dumb this guy really is! High speed rails? What for? To take the millions of people to the unemployment office? I never in my life heard this much bullshit! Now we know why California is falling apart!

  • Of course, if you aiiwaýs refuse to set statecontrolled standard you leave the market to others, like you did on yhe mobilephone.

  • whats a train?

  • putin's got his entire population on sexy morals. you're a different color than them.

  • see, some physicist back in the day put us into an equation for communism. We will come near a collapse that makes us restrict, which makes things have to be tighter and defined. Enjoy Kali yuga. I don't like you. Good. Wtf kind'of argument is that coming from an adult male? Is that making up for your approval rating? It is kind'of difficult to be popular in America though.

  • Every time i see him on screen i'm waiting for him to start screaming 'GET DOWN!' ..'WE MUST GET OUT OF HERE!' 'HASTA LA VISTA BABY'. There can be only 1 Governator!

  • The terminator Just killed it

  • Arnold Is a Good Politician its Just that he is working with Americans which is a lost cause. Hast La vista GURLY MAHN

  • THERE IS NO BATHROOM!!!

  • Comment removed

  • go arnie go...

  • all this talk on the rail. Is it even being built yet?

  • Schwartenegger comes from Europe-he's Austrian.

So when he talks about high speed rail and smart growth that's not a shock because what he talking about are European concepts not American.

Arnold is right about the lack of infrastructure in the country and that it resembles a developing country but where is the lack of such infrastructure felt-in poor and rural communities largely of color which Arnold and his Republicans dont give two shits about.

  • all things Hitler did not so mad after all

  • @edwards21416 Fuck of you disgusting inbred maggot.

  • He did a real great,full,happy LIFE,who ever could!!!

    Great person!

  • The Governator has spoken.. he will be back! lulz

  • HASTA LA VISTA CITZEN

  • I didn't know Conan was multi-class! :D

  • GO BACK TO HOLLYWOOD!

  • A lot of people bag Arnie but he seems fairly intelligent to me and what he is saying is very true!

  • Yeah that's a nice fucking pipe dream governor. It's not going to happen. In the state of Georgia they've killed so many projects it's not even fucking funny anymore.

  • California is collapsing and one of the reasons is this Muscle.

  • He is 100% correct. The US infrastructure is a joke. There are third world countries that are improving theirs faster than we are. Today the Burj Dubai, the tallest building in the world openned. WHy can't we do something like that. The WTC in New York is still a hole in the ground.

SOOO sad that the US, once the best at everything has fallen so far.

  • @aldernagon3 So does communication networks etc. America was the first nation to develop it's infrastrusture. Others were catching it up on a newer technological level and doing way better now.

  • @zipacna1980 "America was the first nation to develop it's infrastrusture. " wrong.

  • @zipacna1980 Your incorrect. And let me remind you that the industrial revolution began in the UK.

  • Its scary that it takes Arni to even bring all this up what do they pay these people for this is school kids stuff

  • what country ignores their infrastructure. theyre doing it on purpose.

  • Get to the choppa! :D

  • This is the sort of thing you don't hear about. I worry about the US because the railways depend entirely on diesel traction for freight: US property taxes penalise electric railways. I suppose the oil industry has been behind this, but oil is on its way out. Wind and solar are the new oil and electric power is the most effective way of transmitting and using this energy. Don't let the Oil Lobby drag you down!

  • END THE FED AND Arnold Schwarzenegger - 2012!

  • Remember -- the fall of the Roman Empire happened because of the crumbling infrastructure. Unfortunately, if taxes have to be raised to fix ours, there will be those who SAY they care about the country who will cry "communism"

  • Total downtown to downtown travel times are less by high-speed rail than they are by plane for trips up to about 600 miles.

  • What is he talking about? We have high speed trains, at least on the east coast. They're called acela and amtrak.

  • You've obviously never been to Europe or Japan. Acela isn't really high-speed rail, it's only "high speed" compared to other trains in the U.S.

Acela averages only 80MPH between NY and Washington.

  • No i've never been to Europe or japan, but i've seen the acela trains and they go well over 80 miles per hour as do the amtrak trains.

  • :sigh:

I never said they don't go over 80 MPH. I said they only AVERAGE 80 MPH between NY and Wash. That is fact. The fastest Acela train takes a scheduled 2h52m (most take WELL over 3 hrs). The distance is approximately 230 miles. That's only 80 MPH average for the fastest train.

That is only "high speed" by American standards. In other countries that would not be considered high speed. Real high speed rail AVERAGES more than twice that speed.

You need to work on your reading comprehension.

  • My reading comprehension is fine. I don't know where you come up with the amount of time between ny and d.c unless you keep a train schedule on you. If it does take that long did you maybe consider that it makes stopovers in Phil. or n.j. I can tell you that if the "average" speeds are 80 mph, then they must of been having a really good day when i saw them.

  • "I don't know where you come up with the amount of time between ny and d.c. unless you keep a train schedule on you."

I checked Amtrak's website moron. I don't have it memorized. Here's the schedule:

    [ tinylink ] [ dot ] [ com ] /?59pSlYjsYn

"maybe consider that it makes stopovers in Phil. or n.j."

OF COURSE it includes stopovers, hense "average" speed. 80 MPH is still VERY slow, even counting stopovers. In other countries, trains average 160+ MPH, INCLUDING stopovers.

  • Acela maxes out at 165 MPH, but that is only two short sections in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It's average speed between N.Y. and Boston is only about 58 MPH, even slower than NY to Washington. It has very long stretches of track where it runs very slowly because the tracks aren't up to high-speed standards (turns too sharp, non-grade separation from streets, etc.). In Europe + Japan, trains reach very high speeds, and never have to slow except to make stops. That's real high-speed rail.

  • What you are forgetting genius, is that those countries do not have as extensive of a highway interstae system as we do in the U.S. Americans tend to drive more than europeans. (most u.s. households have two cars). At a time when the country is running out of money to pay social security, and we're spending billions on fighting two wars, i don't think spending millions on a highspeed rail is a priority when the country is close to being broke.

  • What in the fuck are you talking about? I never said America should invest in high-speed rail. Please, show me where I said that America should built a high-speed rail network, or even a single line. I also never said anything about the US highway system.

I said that America does not currently have high-speed rail. I don't know how you got "we should build a high speed rail network" out of my pointing out that we don't have one right now.

Methinks U need lessons in basic reading comprehension

  • As far as your comment on the US interstate system, I found the European highway systems to be far better than the US interstate system. There are highways going to and from every major city all over the place in Europe, and they're kept in much better shape than highways in the U.S.

I'm not sure where your getting your idea that they don't have as extensive a highway system. I've been to Europe 4 times, and found their highway systems to be better.

  • Your reading comprehension is abysmally poor.

You're under the impression that I said the U.S. should invest billions in building a highspeed rail network. I said nothing of the sort. I simply pointed out that there isn't one right now.

You make assumptions that aren't there. That's terrible reading comprehension.

  • arnold is the beast, why he don't substitute my fucking governor in puerto rico

  • Nobody takes trains, they take planes. They go much faster than trains. What they need to do is improve air travel to make it like train travel.

  • there is a reason why nobody takes them in america, because they are terrible. if you have been to europe, you'd know that train travel is fast, safe, and efficient as opposed to other methods. americans need to open their minds and try to go outside the mainstream mentality in regards to infrastructure..

  • Most Americans who say shit like this have never even been to Europe. The operating speeds of most trains is about 200 mph so a plane is well over twice as fast. We use our trains for transporting goods and use the roads for transporting people.

  • which is why the united states emits as much greenhouse gasses as developing countries like india and china...

  • Too bad global warming is a bunch of horseshit cooked up by scheming politicians on a gullible public designed to rob people of as much money as possible.

  • @R0773N sure...and earth is flat....

  • Oh and one more thing to my previous comment - If they EVER even try to build a high speed train - just imagine the amount of property they'd steal from people - EMINENT DOMAIN... $100 MILLION property? They'll throw you $5M or if you own a $100,000 house? They'll give you $25,000 for it and they'll tell you to take it.

They've done that to plenty of old people on the East Coast. Google it.

Arnold's Father was a Nazi. Arnold LOVES Nazi's with his SKULL & BONES BELT BUCKLE! FUCK ARNOLD!

  • Arnold will NEVER deliver on any of this. He is paid for and PUT INTO POWER BY ENRON, which that company engineered the whole power-scandal to turn off the power, rolling blackouts to give the illusion of not enough electricity.

Gray Davis didn't play ball 100% with Enron, so he was a scapegoat. They kicked him out and put Arnold, WHO MET IN PRIVATE with the CEO's of Enron, to discuss making him the Gov. of California BEFORE the Media ever picked up on it.

Lie, Cheat, Steal & KILL is our Gov.

  • Ar "NO" ld. Vote no. Donald Duck can speak clearer.

  • He'd be Schwarz-a-nigger, and get his Beavis and Butthead face punched in texas. Don't be suprised. You know he's inferior, and you don't mess with Texas. You'll be sizzling on their grill.

  • Fair play to him, i thought he would be a clown but he seems to talk an awful lot of sense

  • Arnold works for the NEW WORLD ORDER

that catch phrase "smart growth" is a dead giveaway that he is following a script

smart growth is a UN program design to force populations in the US to live in only 5% of land space. the rails are used to transport people like cattle to various cities that need work bypassing the country while the elite us the land as their personal playground

watch "esoteric agenda" by Ben Stewart on you tube

  • 8 year old stupid conspiracy faggot

  • ha ha ha enjoy your future prison

Fact: on the back of your social security card is another number which is the stock number by which a bank and you re signituary consent allows a portion of all forms of property you acquire shall be taxed by the IRS which is a corporate collection service separate from the government

this why the rich don't pay taxes because they are recognized as free men and people like you are slaves who must dedicate a portion of labor to them

  • Have you read, Conspiray of the Rich by Robert Kiyosaki, or End the Fed by Ron Paul?

  • No, but I'll have to read them.

  • check out lyndon larouche 'firewall' pt. 7 to get another angle on arnolds views. parently schwartzenschnitzel whats all those infrastructure projects in private hands. yup, u kalifornians wont be able to take a walk down the street without someone having their hand out looking for cash

  • Infrastructure has the effect of increasing land aka location values but landowners have increasingly been unwilling to pay for the public improvements and other services (California's Prop 13) that make their land more valuable. Because failure to tax land owners to pay for public improvements gives land owners a real economic subsidy, i.e. a free lunch, the economic incentive is to speculate in real estate which is really only land speculation since improvements do not go up in value.

  • I know lots of people don't like him, but for never playing in politics before, he's managing to do a pretty damn good job, expecially for supporting ideas on both the left and right side. He's especially right when it comes to funding HSR. I just hope the next governor is as influentual about HSR as he is.

  • Oh no he is saying the truth. Here on Youtube all american patriots cry: "Communist". Oh my god, your country is doomed nobody notices that, stupid americans.

  • He is right.

  • doesn't deserve my time

  • Hey, why don't you make a movie on a fucking revolution? Do the Builderberg thing and the Satan run Illuminati thing with a vampire run White house and just do a closer than reality movie on how the system will fuck you over and send you all in homeless camps, and merci kill you at night and take your organs when you're asleep.Your in California for the love of God, get creative. I want to see a good hooror film by x-mass,call it :America, land of the depraved, a little like the Texas chainsaw

  • what the fuck are you talking about jai?

  • He's absolutely right.

  • Arnold makes some valid points here

  • he'se right, the current rail we have in the U.s. has been going same speed like hundreds of years ago which is a P.O.S because other countrie are smarter than U.S.

  • Wow, a Republican that makes sense. What a surprise.

  • @sccoast1700 Well he is from Europe.

  • Only Schwarzenegger could be the subject of a video that has related videos with titles: "Killer Home Chest Workout" and "Downturn in Housing Market sends Realtors Packing" simultaneously.

Seriously though... I don't think he's done that bad of a job. He's surprisingly articulate and in the know. And he's clearly willing to not only compromise (himself), but also to entice other Republicans to do so.

Yea, the car tax thing was a big mistake. But an the whole: I think he's done well.

  • I still say terminator won't be the same without Conan.

  • I'm a vicious partisan liberal, and i would vote for this guy............ mainly based on his performance in "Hercules goes to NY"

  • Why is this guy a Republican? Is there any party more opposed to spending on infrastructure in the world?

  • Hes the best of both worlds, a democratic forward thinking, attempting to save our future, and republican, not a single motive driving elitist, ready to ignore all opposoing opinions.

  • Yea, eirefrance. The Libertarian Party.

  • Oh, you got me!!!! Well done, sir, well done. And I mean sir in the most politically correct, non-gender specific way possible.

  • Wow, is this the same guy I watched give the introduction to Free To Choose videos? Weird.

  • The Obama nationality scandal might be used to introduce legislation to make it possible for this Bildeberger to run for president in 2012.

  • HEIL!

  • Arnold actually doesn't accept his paycheck. He works for free.. Makes sense, He doesn't need a 100k a year salary when he has millions in the bank...

  • whos paying arnie??? california is bankrupt......

  • He says one thing and do another thing completely different.

As a politician, he looks like a person having no idea what he's doing. When you look at his stand points on issue by issue, it's very inconsistent.

He'll probably change his mind when he starts seeing the campaign contribution from auto makers and oil companies.

  • Ha, ha, ha- like those guys can afford any campaign contributions any more!

  • that's doubtful. i'm a dem who voted for him twice. while he's not perfect his fundamental values are in line with mine. i'd like to hear some specific reasons why you feel he is inconsistent, except that he does sometimes transcend party lines. i wish more elected officials were like that. he's big on environmental issues and that's important to a lot of people.

  • I made fun of this guy when he got elected, but I'm very, very impressed with him now on many fronts.

  • Why the hell aren't you in the new Terminator movie, you son of a bitch? You were elected because of your fantastic acting ability; you've proven your point (that people will hire people for political positions just because they think Conan The Barbarian ruled), now get back to grunting and corny one liners in bad ass action movies

  • About time we get a high speed rail. Should help lots with jobs and the economy in california.

  • I wonder if the "Economic Stimulus" bill that was passed will put money towards the ideas presented in Arnold's speech.

  • Wait , wasn't Arnold collecting Hummers at one point ? And private jets and over sized boats? Not that i disagree with what he's saying ... But he doesn't really have an ethical ground to stand on.

  • still is, and wants a new ecohummer, he started with the party lines and still tries, but maybe he is learning?????

  • Good point .Sounds like he's been listening to Maria at the dinner table -to me.

  • HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA that was good !!! I almost flipped when I read he wanted to put a higher tax golfers and country clubs.

  • Silly planocrat, Drew Carey already explained how to best navigate around a "smart" growth community- fly over it...

these matters are best left to the real market..

This "Austrian" is not an Austrian..

  • Indeed

The bugs have already been worked out elsewhere

Why not use a safe high speed rail system

  • wow, a government that cares about infrastructure for once! about time good job Arnold

  • YES exactly. Using high speed maglev rails all across the country for transportation would reduce spenditure on jet fuel, thus keeping more money inside our own country and helping the economy. Not to mention its better for the env.

  • And remember there is absolutely no way to substitute jet fuel with other technology.

So if oil is unaffordable high speed rails can still drive with power from large solar power plants. If you not improve this you are out in 50 years. Well maybe you are already.

  • Personaly I can see California going the way Europe is - lots of nuclear stations and phasing in Electric mass transit and penalising motor cars.

Wealth is created when you can do something for less than the next man, paying 1/20th on using a train, half the difference on making the train all first class and thats considerably less than owning, fueling and maintaining a car.

If he isnt careful, hes going to have to go independent to modernise a decaying power.

    Sorry, hell yes!
