@diddy150 Because with the 4 point rear suspension setup theyve come stock with for the last 20 years stickey tires and some polyurethane suspension bushings can get you a 1.6 second 60 foot time at the drag strip, properly setup a stock engine mustang can easily get into the 12's...other cars can too but its easier considering how little you have to change with the stock rear end, also the 8.8 rear axle can hold 500+ hp with no mods.
@trento728 Simple really, get a 370Z based chassis(I imagine), add a V6, add AWD and add twin turbos. Hell Fords Ecoboost motor puts out like 365hp on a motor based on fuel economy.

Its a warranty covered item and if by any wild reason they rejected to cover the car because there were signs of abuse like a nitrous bottle in the trunk or you just decided to fix it yourself instead of dealing with a dealer a brand new badass clutch is $500, WAY better than being left out dry with a broken $20000 tranny in the GTR, especially after paying $70k+ for the car plus $15k more for mark up.
Don't know what you guys are arguing about but from what I know:)) a stock 2004 Infinitti G35 is a 3.5 liter V6 that produces 280 bhp while a stock 2004 Ford Mustang Gt is a 4.6 liter V8 that produces 260 bhp. Don't know about you guys but if a V6 can out perform a V8 while using much less gas than really something's wrong with V8.

First off, nice name, Linkin Park is freakin' awesome. Secondly, I have an 07 G35 (sedan) and I know you won't be disappointed with the coupe. I think its the best value on the market; luxury, speed, quality, equipment, you name it.. Thirdly however, the Mustang GT is pretty bad-ass too.
If you have the money, the G35. Fuel costs will be about the same since G35 requires premium fuel. In the end, you get what you pay for. The G35 is obviously more expensive but it provides you with so much more. The G35 can a be a beast on a track but calm down and get you from point A to B in a comfortable way.
Why don't you do your part for America and buy a fuckin domestic. You don't see slopes driving american cars..they're smart they support their country's manufacturers.

Due to the gear ratios on our cars, my automatic pulls alot better in lower gears than the manual mustang. Top end he would have cought up. This is the same reason why the manual g35 beats me.
And i doubt yadpwns beats srt4s because most of the srt4s are running mid-low 13s around here.
keep in mind people, this is in florida, in 90 degree weather, alot of cars run alot slower under these conditions. Elevation, temp, humidity all need to be considered!
those are still VERY slow times for both cars, the mustang should run 13's and your g should be at least 14.10's. i was clicking off 13.60's in a GT on street tires and just a CAI in SC 95degree heat.
