  • his pinch harmonics are so weak thumbs up if you are a guitarist

  • hey guys i own an art 320, it is unbleviable the neck is very fast it feels like an esp horizion neck if you have played one. i do a demo of it on my channel check it out it would be much appricated :)

  • I have it, I love it. Period!

There's one single thing that comes in unhandy which is the front screw for the strap, which simply ripped itself out of the body...gotta get some glue or stuff and fix this...but this guitar is the fucking shit!!!

  • what paul says "hey this is paul from guitar world, lets take a look at this ibanez"

what he really means "hey this is paul and im gonna own your ass at guitar again! lets take a look! :D"

  • I've never been a fan of Ibanez. Played this guitar at my local guitar center and fell in love. I get such a good crunch when I pair it with my Line 6 Spider IV HD150. I can't put this guitar down.

Also, not a fan of the black finish. Mine is a dark, natural wood finish and is beautiful.

  • CAN U TAB THAT EFFIN SOLO AT THE END PLEASEEEE

  • when is gw going to do a review of the rg or jem series?

  • hey

    another question:

what if the battery lost its power??

  • @ohyeah061696 you change em out they are double a batterys

  • @ttslipknotrulez132 what if i dont replace them?

  • @ohyeah061696 then you would replace the battery, through the panel on the back.

  • @ohyeah061696 You replace them, I have this guitar and it literally takes me less than a minute to change em out.

  • which is better ???

    epiphone or ibanez?

  • @ohyeah061696 i would chose ibanez

  • @ohyeah061696 Depends on what style you wanna play and what guitars you're looking at.

  • I found the guitar already, now those hands...

  • I wouldn't have this guitar in black, but its pretty sweat

  • 2 double a wtf ?that just killed it for me

  • u should make more guitar lessons man...U play damn good !!

  • Tried this out at GC today and i was AMAZINGLY surprised! i wanna trade my PRS se custom 24 for one of these now!

  • @LesPaul209 a prs se custom for this?troololololololol

  • this is a great guitar, im ordering one tonight! with my randall 120 watt, im pretty sure this thing is going to rock.

  • guitar world....please mention the amp used aswell

  • how much does this guitar cost?

  • i have that guitar! im very happy with it!

  • IBANEZ WILL NEVER BEAT ESP....NEVER

  • @kory1256

    What´s ESP? You mean ESPN.

  • @kory1256 why?

  • @kory1256 I AGREE. WHY ARE WE TYPING IN ALL CAPS?

  • @kory1256 I have an Ibanez. It`s great and isn`t so expensive like ESP. And why did you say that ESP is better? Cause James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have esps?

  • @iLoveIbanez1 i had this same guitar and as an experienced guitar player i would say my esp is built better sounds better and feels better than the art. but that art totally beats the why my m-300 looks.. plus i hate metalica :)

  • @kory1256 Why?:) I love old metallica but i will never buy an esp.

  • @iLoveIbanez1 I'm sure he is talking about ESP's Ltd line. I've bought two of different price ranges and I've been happier with those than I am with my Gibson and every Ibanez I have ever owned.

  • @dimlightbulb10 you r wired

  • "so its also great for soloing. So lets hear what that sounds like..... bjhdblikabscvad;lbvaflvbadsk.bfvafkbvadlkbv

  • oh man. if it had some different pick ups, that clean sound would be perfect

  • Jizzed in my pants

  • Very nice clean sound, I guess to have at less dirty you just have to turn the volume down.

  • cute riff

  • they need to fix the bridge on this guitar.

  • @Hotdog40404040404 what's wrong with the bridge?

  • @TheMetalHeaD256 the stopbar is rather unstable and the strings "sink" into the saddles making palm muting a b*tch

  • THE MORMON IS BACK

  • should i get this one, the 320, or the 500e?

  • @Brimmingmebitter I'm getting a 320 if that can help you :)

  • @Brimmingmebitter i'm an EMG dude so i would get the 500E if i had the money. in fact, i'm thinking about saving up and getting the 700EQM cause the bridge is upgraded and the maple top is sexy.

  • have this guy heard about drop down tuning?

  • Standard Eb > Dropped B

  • @themodernguitarist dude drop tuning rules but this guy doesn't know any shit about it!

  • I hate seeing my guitar commercialized

  • I own this guitar i highly suggest it for most guitarists it plays great with almost all genres of music, although this video makes the guitar seem more dark and black when really it has a lighter brown finish in the middle and dark brown on the outside.

  • was not diggin his tone.

  • Does anyone know what song he plays at 3:05 ? I think it'd sound great on my trace warbeast

  • Comment removed

  • that guy's hand moves like butter. dammit.

  • this guitar sounds awesome ! :O

  • they need to discontinue that guitar's bridge, it is aboslute hell to palm mute with it

  • i love this guitar man, im glad i bought it, im about to buy the ARZ400. it reseambles buckethead's paul

  • I have this guitar, I hate you for playing it better than me lol

  • with painkillers in em, djenty-ist fucking thing in the world

  • Someone tell me why u need batteries

  • @ryancoleman3 active pick ups

  • damn michael j fox

  • @METALxHEADxFRED

LOL. It looks just like him in his younger years...RMFAO

  • @METALxHEADxFRED no way man he looks alot more like Steve Zahn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • I've had this same guitar for almost 2 years. I record and gig with it. The active Pickups scream as long as you keep fresh batteries in it (2 AA).

I paid $280 for this new with a tiny blemish. Plays like butter (I have the action as low as possible with no fret buzz), Sounds awesome clean or crunchy, stays in tune forever. I have a Les Paul studio (Gibson not Epiphone) and this Ibanez plays better and sounds just as good or better. Best ax in the price range IMO.

  • Whatever that was that he played in clean. Was beautiful. It brought a tear to my eye.

  • @smokekush912 That was quite beautiful

  • man sick solo. i want this ibanez but my friends say don't get it because they don't go up in value. but should i get it? for like Iron Maiden playing and trivium and stuff

  • @RhysHoneMusic1 Go to the music store and try it. If you like it, buy it. Whether a guitar sounds and feels good to you is a lot more important than whether or not it will go up in value.

  • @RhysHoneMusic1 I would get a Jackson for that style but, I haven't played one of these so I can't really say.

  • @RhysHoneMusic1 ... it's a fantastic and cheap guitar! Are you buying it to sell it or to have some fun with it for a very long time? Cause this guitar will survive a nuclear war!!!

  • MAN! i want this guitar so bad! i nearly have enough to buy but i'll need a new amp, can anyone recommend one thats affordable?

  • did anyone else notice that his middle finger sticks out when hes soloing?

  • got this on super sale 299 long and mcquade i almost cried

  • @dascoolman13

yo do they have anymore? i just seen the ad now!

  • Comment removed

  • @dascoolman13 i dunno i was about to buy the floor model but it was kinda beaten up, so i aasked the guy a few times until he got annoyed so he went out back and got me a new one inside the box still, i guess it also depends on what colour you want theres black or brown, all i know is there are few left of each, but i dont know exactly

  • what kind of amplifiers did you use for this video?

  • Can U Put A Whamming Tremolo in that guitar

  • @jkazama30 I own the same guitar. It has a Gibralter III bridge that does not take a whammy bar.

  • does it sound like les paul?

  • @moronslave Are you retarded? It depends on the pickups? If you name a specific Les paul model i could tell you though..

  • @Thehideby Well, by the way you replied to my simple question, it seemed that you already experienced using both guitars, ART 300 and Les Paul and knows very well already what they sound like. Good for you. Anyway, lesson learned for me though to just google for an answer next time I have some basic question. I'll start with w w w.squidoo.com/Epi_Les_Paul_Std_Black

  • lol we got all excited when he thought they were 24 frets

  • can i use this for metal in drop D/C like BFMV and Disturbed, trivium PWD etc....?

  • @CoffeeSquib why wouldn't you be able to..?

  • @TheMvip well i mean if its better suited for those bands :p

  • what a great sound

  • Lol. Thats the guy who fails a playing metal :D But he is awesome :)

  • this thing isn't as metal as it can get, and i really don't see myself soloing on it like i can my RG, but hell, it sounds AWESOME. when i went by guitar center i saw this thing and i just had to try it out. it has CRAP loads of low end and it's shorter scale which means i can put heavier strings on it. its action was high at the store but that's fixable. i might just have to pick this thing up. it looks and sounds killer.

  • does it come untuned easily? cause i have an Aria that works great, i mean great, but comes untuned easily

  • @blazfuturama nah dude, i tried the art 100 at a local music store, and it had amazing intonation. all the chords and octaves i played sounded clear throughout the neck. after about 15 minutes, i checked and it was still in tune. and i was bending those strings pretty wildly.

  • My main concern is the battery life for the pickups, and if it stays in tune well.

  • @grybo101 ive had that guitar for almostt a year man and i havent changed them once, and i play my electric probably quite abit

  • @nye545 thanks for the reply, man. That's one of the reasons i've been so hesitant on buying it. How well does it stay in tune?

  • @grybo101 I've had mine almost 2 yrs. and changed batteries about 4-5 times total. And I play it alot. If you play every day they'll last a few months. Mine stays in tune for days.

  • nice solo!

  • On the heavy setting,is he playing a real song ? or did he make it up ?

  • ibanez rg1570 prestige

  • i hate ibanez guitars, esp all the way

  • @BrutalShredder4026 And we are really happy, that you came all the way to an Ibanez review to share this with us!

  • @BrutalShredder4026 "DERRRR MOAR SPIKEZ PLZZZZ!11!!!11"

  • @BrutalShredder4026 Not to start a pointless argument or anything, but the best players (Vai, Gilbert, Satriani, etc.) use Ibanez. Just stating facts.

  • clearly that solo is sped up

  • @spooky599 Doesn't look like it.

  • @spooky599 Uhhhh, no.

  • what amp r u using?

  • i have one of these and their out of production now. ibanez stopped making them. its a collectors item now

  • @dharpify1 I call bullshit.

  • @LessthanJake14 its true. i challenge you to try and find one in stores anywhere. my guitar teacher tried to get one for himself after i got mine, and he couldn't find one anywhere. and guitar center told him that they're out of production.

  • @dharpify1 Can find them online easily.

  • DUDE U NEED TO CHECK THAT GUITAR IN VILOT ITS FUCKEN SEXY!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lord2468vader22 i have one its amazing

  • cool guitar

  • you're like Michael J. Fox

  • THAT SOLO WAS SEXY WHAT SCALES DID U USE

  • man you play great.

  • when u put on that distortion... wat wuz that song u were playing???

  • paul is a really awesome guitarist. however he's not the best at thinking of metal rhythms, in my humble opinion.

    he's a shredding god, though.

  • this guitar is freakin awesome,

    perfect thicknes of the neck

    super smooth fretboard

    srsly awesome pick ups

and the bridge is in a good position and doesnt disturb while playing

if you want a freakin awesome kick-ass guitar for a good price, grab that shit :D

  • @illi47 fuckin right! Just bought the 600, its nice to have a fixed bridge that doesnt chew its way into the palm of your hand

  • Paul is the best with doing reviews.

  • that's just like ESP Eclipse

  • Comment removed

  • this guitar is AWSOME

  • very good guitar, i got it one year now !!!!!!

  • I just picked up one of these, and it's a damn fine guitar.

  • @SomeoneStoleMyPants Well maybe it is your cord, but then again it has active pickups.

  • just got one! its awesome but it gives alot of feedback

  • thats crap if u need 2 open it 2 change the batteries for the pick ups.....

  • @LinkinParkFan219 It's not that fucking hard to use a screwdriver, is it? Retard.

  • @varulv234 well yeah but fuck that when u playin for whole days every day and then u need change the batteries. YMMMM retard ?!

  • @LinkinParkFan219 I don't think you understand how long they last. Oh, you listen to Linkin Park. Ugh.

  • @varulv234 ite everyone is listening to something else i like linkin park and metallica and someone else would say that they are shit because he likes radio head or some other one, btw fuck that guitar and dont argue anymore :)

  • "24 fret im sorry 22 i should say" wow get it right you get payed to play shitty guitar and you should at least get your review right

  • "hey this is paul from guitar world" :°DD

  • How long is the battery life for the pickups?

  • @grybo101 i'd take a stab of about a year, maybe slightly less... though if you leave the lead plugged in, it eats the battery life away alot faster... EMG pickups use a 9 volt battery and i'm told it lasts about a year of average use before you need to change the battery, so, 2 AA bateries probably won't last as long as that, but it all depends on how much you play it, hope that helped =)

  • whats the first song he played clean?? i know i've heard it somewhere... but then again thats what it always seems like...

  • I have this same guitar except i put an emg 81 on the neck position and an 85 on the bridge position. And it sounds better than the ones that come with the guitar, but im also running through a line 6 hd100 with jj tubes in it.

  • @sum41shizzynizzy it's not bad, I have a guitar that also has active pickups, in my opinion they give you a better sound, especially if you're into metal or heavier rock. But they're amazing pickups, the only down side is changing the battery but it's simple and can be easily. If you like this guitar I say go for it, it sounds amazing :)

  • @TheJoeydark yeah i love new metal and some harder rock stuff. i think some of the bands i like play schecters, which im pretty sure use active pickups? but, yeah thanks for the advice xD

  • will this sound a lot better for lamb of god type stuff then my squire fender start. I know everyone says active humbuckers make a huge difference, but do they really?

  • @PepperRoni20 Actives are a lot higher out put but if you're looking for some lamb of god sounding pups i would go with seymour duncan passives they sound more lamb of god-ish (In my opinion)

  • @xtremewave well that would make sense because thats what lamb of god uses :P

I would but I dont think I can afford them thats why im looking at this guitar

  • @xtremewave it has active pickups?? is that bad? i know they take batteries. i like the guitar but i dont know anything about actives so it makes me kinda scared to get it.

  • @sum41shizzynizzy depends on your music style if you need loads of output with lots of lows i would go active

  • @xtremewave that sounds about right for the stuff i like. thanks

  • this guitar is one of the first ones i bought and its still my favourite to jam with. its just a overall amazing guitar. i use it everyday and i have only had one problem after 2 years and it was a easy fix

  • Those ads are pissing me off

  • @CiviC092 F5. It's kind of obvious :)

  • @CiviC092 I make sure to never read them, but just the repitition of closing them is pissing me off too!!

  • @CiviC092 just press F5 and they skip

  • @CiviC092 what really piss me off is the gear GW review... damn it's shit these days,,,

  • @CiviC092

den y de fuck would u watch dem n comment????

  • Some people said, that the distance between frets & strings it too big. That true? Well, i think, you can lower the bridge parts (screwdriver ftw, k?), but the nut is too high? Someone copy that, please, because at this point, i'm considering to consider considering buying that guitar. I want to be sure, if it's worth it. :D

  • @Kirsileht

no worries man, if the nut is to high that can be fixed...whomever you heard that from might have just gotten a guitar with a bad setup. and the distance between the frets and strings...thats called "action" and yes that is adjustable. ive never tried this model, but im pretty sure its bitching, all ibanez guitars are

  • man!!!!your awesome!!!!whats the name of the songs?i will buy that guitar!!!

  • Alright, I'm looking to buy my first guitar and one of my local stores is selling this for about $500. would you recommend this for a starter? And will this last me a long time?

  • @klolklolklolk

I got adviced to start with a Stratocaster and pretty much work up my way on guitars to the awesome guitars. :3

  • @klolklolklolk This is a great starter guitar. I would suggest the version with the passive(non-active) pickup as a first guitar.

  • @klolklolklolk Dude!, Don't buy Whatever these guys tell you.. You're best choice is a Yamaha Pacifica!.. It's great for playing Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal, ANYTHING!.. I chose this over an LTD man.. I always keep telling myself, I'll change my guitar, but no!, The Pacifica kicks ass dude!, just look at the reviews on youtube and they all say the same thing, It's Awesome!

  • 2:15 hes playing no more no more i think

  • What pickups would you recommend to this guitar?

  • @StringBreaker666 Its Ahh-Mayy-Zingg!! When I got it I didn't stop playing for 2 hours.. =]

  • @bananamanMakNikola really...can you tell me more abouth it?? how does it fell??

tomorow i am probably getting art320 or dn500...do not have an idea which oneXD

  • @StringBreaker666 Its REALLY good! I got it with a "Roland" amp, the amp has a lot of features and things... Its very powerful and like metal, but in the same time you can play clearly.. :D 1 problem: when u play with distortion the pickups have a lil problem.. anyway the guitar is AMAZING

  • @bananamanMakNikola i have it for two days now...and i have a lot of fret buzz because stock strings are just bullshit...i will probably put some ernie balls on...but otherwise it fells amazing...now i just waiting for my orange crush amplifier to come -.-...

  • @StringBreaker666 feels*

  • @StringBreaker666 most of the time stock strings are not the cause of fret buzz .its the set up of the guitar.

  • @StringBreaker666 very very cool i've heard orange amps they sound bad ass even if its a lil guy fuckers are loud!!! yeah go for the ernie ball slinkys they r awsome if u dont have the money to spend on some bad ass DR strings ernie ball slinkys are awsome i use them for many many years

  • @StringBreaker666 The good thing to do is when you get a guitar that you change the strings first and set it up with the guage you want to use. That's what I do.

  • @StringBreaker666 or you could buy strings that don't blow

  • Between this and the ART320, no difference I can see, it's just new. I'll stick with the ART300 thank you.

  • What a great job man, go to work, play awesome guitars, go home, play awesome guitars, and get paid. This guy has THE LIFE.

  • what amp do u use?
