  • Can somebody tell me which concert is this ?

  • this is great!

  • man they were so on top of their game back then. they don't sounds this good live anymore.

  • that bass

  • I have a drug problem..

  • there never gonna play this live anymore ):

  • @putasensura Why's that?

  • I have to tell that I love this song, and it helps me a lot. :)

  • pretty good summation of people at 1:08

  • Comment removed

  • I love when I see a top comment about how many people dislike the video, and 6 months later, the number of dislikes is stil the same,

    Btw this song is incredible.

  • Why don't we just drop the funny pretense and just say that 3 people are fucking idiots?

  • The guitar should be a bit louder.

  • Amazing!!

  • this is my favorite off the album...just surreal! so atmospheric and dreamy! just like The Cure's music... :)

  • This song floats me

  • "I tell all my friends but they never believe me,they think i've finally lost it completely" beautiful lyric that

  • High quality in 2 ways

  • 0:07 aaaaaaaaajajajajaaaaaa !

  • don't get why they stopped to play this thing live...

  • all this talk about OK Computer being one of the greatest albums of all time... I think it's only been in the last few years people have started to realise this. An album has gotta stand the test of time - and OK Computer TOTALLY does. I'd say without a doubt the best album of the 90s (just beating Nevermind - Nirvana) and definitely top 50 of all time.. maybe top 20... that one's pretty hard to measure. Anyway, love this song!

  • @GStarDragon OK comp gives 'the bends' a run for its money, and saying something!

  • BEST BAND EVER!!!

  • 3 alien hunters

  • Thank you, Thom, Jonny, Ed, Colin and Phil. Thank you.

  • High, like the Atmosphere.

  • My favourite songs about aliens!

  • Comment removed

  • radiohead secured in the earth with us...:)

  • This is such a great song. Love the subtle sounds that back the main melody. By the way the bass in this song is just incredible

  • 3 people have had alien probes!

  • Im so high right now, this song sounds even better

  • This is amazing. I wish I had enough time in my life to spend it making negative comments on videos featuring things I don't care for. But, I would rather spend my internet time watching videos I do care for and discussing/debating the finer points of things I share in common with people...silly me. Radiohead makes me feel good.

  • Ha Ha ha HAaaa crazy person in the audience at 0:07 which is exactly how I would sound if Radiohead played this live whilst I was there!

  • Phil kinda looks like a subterranean homesick alien

  • Im knowing radiohead a month ago...i have finished to listenting to every Prince album and now Radiohead makes me feel so different. Thats why I love music

  • what happened to THIS band?

  • @AOCRkid

They got older? They wrote new music? In my opinion, they got better.

  • @xLordOfTheFliesx IN RAINBOWS AMAZING

  • @1993superbeaner

    Word. Incredible album.

  • I feel like floating away in a spaceship listening to this song

  • three people are a little uptight

  • I thank god i decided to type ok computer into youtube tonight... i know understand this song

  • wow swear to god u cant watch a single radiohead vid without some comparing muse and radiohead seiusly get a life? they sound nothing alike muse according to me muse is much better i dont like radioheads song any way no rage answer to this comment please

  • @flyingmanforfun

No rage, but you do realise you're fanning pointless flames? Nope no rage answer, just my deepest sypamthies.

  • i feel so high when i listen to this song. no drugs needed.

  • @krorphish sounds like you never have smoked and listen to a radiohead album

  • If I ever get to see them play this song live, I will make the sound at 0:07 times a million.

  • The song was built around this thick descending chord that maintains G as its root note. But in this final version, they just took that part out, leaving just the bass humming along on G as the other parts swoop and dive around a rhythm guitar that isn't there...and the result is nothing short of perfect.

  • My favorite Radiohead song. Everyone is always shocked by that, but can never seem to explain why...they all "like it". The way the simple but melodically intricate parts layer together in the verse and chorus to perform an impenetrable cascade of sound...it's hypnotizing. Especially once you've heard the acoustic version, and realize how they essentially cut out the main melodic part of the song...and made it brilliant.

  • how do people even dare to compare muse with this amazing and beautiful sound from other world??

  • Hoping for the Aliens to come. Some day they'll take me away..........

  • @ chosentonessournotes, I have been writing music for twenty years. Don't be jealous, enjoy and learn. Music is a never ending learning experience. We can only achieve those "explosive points" that bring us all out of the ordinary with time.

  • @jonok911

thats the brilliant thing about radiohead though.

NO-ONE is like them. they have their own genre and that is 'genius'

  • this is how it goes in descending order

    1. radiohead

    2. the best music in the world

    3. all other music

  • Johnny Genius!!!!

  • @jonok911 yes starship trooper genesis foxtrot

  • It's like I'm listening to space.

  • I'd say Thom Yorke gets an adequate amount of attention relative to his prolificacy.

  • Luv that Rhodes sound!!!

  • CHILLS

  • colin bass drives me into some strange and colourful world

  • STARCASTER!!!!!

  • Thome Yorke is a very misunderstood man.

  • @uberbigbread

    very underrated as well.

  • @spankythedog56 I wouldn't really call him underrated. OKComputer appears in almost every top 5 of best album ever made, including the Rolling Stone list.. There is nothing underrated about Radiohead or Thom Yorke, they get a lot of recognition and they deserve it. Don't make it sound like they are some undiscovered indie band..

  • @AITDS

i just said thom yorke out loud and my friend said "who's thom yorke?", but he knows radiohead. radiohead gets tons of recognition, but thom yorke both as the singer/lyricist and a solo musician doesn't get very much recognition for his contributions. at least, not by anyone but actual radiohead fans.

i realize radiohead is a legendary band by now. i've known the name ever since i was a child, though i just recently started listening to them heavily. i don't even listen to indie music.

  • what year was this? was this from their ok computer tour?

  • Hahahaha Listento the guy in the audience at 0:07

  • I LIEK DIS SAWNG

  • Can somebody give me info about this concert?

  • Of all these weird creatures

    Who lock up their spirits

    Drill holes in themselves

    And live for their secrets

    They're all uptight

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Francois Nahmani !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Of all these weird creatures

    Who lock up their spirits

    Drill holes in themselves

    And live for their secrets

    They're all uptight

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Even though this was video was made in the 90's, Ed is the only one who's dressing like he's from the time period. Thom and Jonny looks like they're ahead of everyone in terms of clothing.

  • some individuals are born to play music --- they pretty much have no choice. i feel confident these five gentlemen fall into this category. : )

  • Did anybody ever saw Johny's face?

  • Radiohead Red Hot Chilli Peppers U2 Nirvana

    best bands of the 90s

  • The guitars in quite a few Radiohead songs make my head woozy. But I love it.

  • believe it or not this is the only song that i like by them

  • phil is so under rated..nobody cares about him :(

  • @94mrwhite

    WE do!

  • Radiohead were the best thing about the 90's.

  • every time i listen to a radiohead's song, i think, 'this is my favourite radiohead song'.

  • So spacey indeed :0

  • Ok Computer is one of, if not the best albums I've ever heard in my life. The thought put into every song makes it like a dream of music when I close my eyes. I instantly start to think of my life based off these songs... I've never had that type of feeling while listening to The Beatles and other classic bands.

Truly amazing band, record, and my favorite song.

Thanks Radiohead, for giving me the best eargasms I've ever had!

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles OK Computer has often been voted the second greatest album of all time, behind only The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Now that, is a fantastic thing to accomplish!

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles The Beatles do that to me too, and Beck. but thats it, and your right about RH

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles I agree with you, although when I listen to the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road Medley I get that feeling too :)

  • I remember when I saw Radiohead live, I'm 18 and I can already say it will always be one of the greatest nights of my life...brilliant.

  • i find this to be their best song as far as song writing goes.

  • prolly one of my favorite songs better. jonny is fuckkin sick

  • whammy rules !!!!

  • This whole album is mind blowing.

  • missflierg i agree with you in every way, they are beyond music i just can't describe it. and how to disappear completely makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck

  • I totatally agree, I deffinitely agree with Amnesiadcmidnitetoker.

I love listening to music, many tipes of music, and I´ve love it since I was a child, but Radiohead is unique, superlative, I can´t find words anytime I want to describe what I feel everytime I hear one of their songs. This is purely magic, and almost perfection. Sometimes I try to convence myself that yes, they are human beings :D

  • no one gives a fuck

  • So?

  • They are so incredibly amazing. Nobody is perfect, but even Radiohead's imperfections make their music so intricate and beautiful.

  • so fucking mellow just brilliant!!

  • Love the laught at about 7 seconds. :D

    Brilliant song!

  • wow

  • Just remembered how brilliant this song is.....it's been years since I heard it. Vivid memories of a summer several years ago....Wow. This song takes me away to a wonderful place.

  • I really wish I knew how they did what they do. The way they write their music makes me so fucking jealous. Every single song sounds so ethereal, so masterly written. It brings my head to near explosive points.

  • Bring together a group of talented, open minded and passionate musicians, pratice 24/7 and you will see that you can get very far.. Important is always to practice, practice, practice oo and practice...haha radiohead works hard and really deserves to be appreciated..

  • Dude, I've been playing music since I was 4... I'm 23. I can't write the masterpieces that Radiohead has. They have some magical ability to write absolutely perfect songs. That's what I meant.

  • I know, you are right btw. Try to let it go and find your own way man.. it;'s no good listening to radiohead and comparing it to your own music, when what you see, is greatness.. And btw, 23 is still very very young.. And if you think about it, is it really that difficult composing a song like Creep? I mean, yeah, in rainbows is just to much...

  • chosen...- you can't write the masterpieces Radiohead has because you're not Radiohead. However, they won't be able to write the masterpieces you'll be able to if you develop your own abilities and follow your own path. No one can express what's unique about your human experience better than you. Nothing magic about it, just a willingness to throw away what isn't essential (IMHO.)

  • @chosentonessournotes Do you write music yourself? Only, you sound like me in my own head! I try to be musically broad minded but ultimately I keep coming back to Radiohead - I just hear so few other people with quite that high an aesthetic.

  • @chosentonessournotes " to near explosive points " ?!!

HOLY SHIT!! Music should NOT make your head explode!! lol

  • @bigal838 i wish all artists had the same effect on me... i wouldn't be disappointed at all. it's like a an ethernal state of satisfaction and relief sponsored by music alone

  • @bigal838 lol Yes it should.

  • @chosentonessournotes I totally agree with you. Never better said Mr!

  • @chosentonessournotes stop being jealous...unless u're kanye west. :))

  • @chosentonessournotes

They do it by putting 5 musicians (themselves) in a room with 3 guitars, drums, a bass and myriad of electronic effects. The rest is nature taking its course.

  • @chosentonessournotes I agree with everything you said.

  • @chosentonessournotes Surround a creative force like Thom Yorke around 4 masterful musicians thats what ya get

  • @chosentonessournotes 5 amazing musicians put together who care about music can create so many amazing sounds together, wish all bands cared as much for music as these guys seem to.

  • @chosentonessournotes apparently they just hate everything they do. maybe they're perfectionists and are just patient with their music, and of course they are amazing musicians through lots of practice!

  • this so magical he might just get picked up one of this lol

radiohead greatest band in the whole universe!!!

  • Subterranean Homesick Alien

    The breath of the morning

    I keep forgetting.

The smell of the warm summer air.

  • I live in a town

where you can't smell a thing,

    you watch your feet

    for cracks in the pavement.

    Up above

    aliens hover

    making home movies

    for the folks back home,

  • of all these weird creatures

    who lock up their spirits,

    drill holes in themselves

    and live for their secrets.

    They're all uptight, uptight,

    uptight, uptight,

    uptight, uptight.

  • I wish that they'd sweep down in a country lane,

late at night when I'm driving.

Take me on board their beautiful ship,

show me the world as I'd love to see it.

  • I'd tell all my friends but they'd never believe me,

They'd think that I'd finally lost it completely.

I'd show them the stars and the meaning of life.

    They'd shut me away.

    But I'd be alright, alright,

    I'd be alright,

    I'm alright.

  • I'm just uptight, uptight,

    uptight, uptight,

    uptight, uptight,

    uptight, uptight,

    uptight.

  • how i wish they played this song more often

  • @robotophobia why didnt they u recon

  • @robotophobia i know! it's the first radiohead song i heard and i consider it my favorite... been to three shows and never heard it live :(

  • @robotophobia

how I wish they still recorded that kind of music, really!

  • great great great!!!!!!!

  • Richard is right

  • Yeah i agree. I ADORE this song. Every time i listen to it, it makes me feel like I´m floating, and i don´t know why, it really sounds magically.

By the way, hard decision to rank RH´s records:

    KID A/Amnesiac

    Ok Computer

    The Bends

    In Rainbows

    Hail to the Thief

Pablo Honey (which i like, but obviouslly was exeeded by the others, even when Creep is not the only nice song there, I still enjoy listening "You" or "Vegetable" )

  • well when you group KID A and Amnesiac together, that's a pretty easy one. But, I'd say, some things are best left unranked

  • Yes I agree, the thing is that this guys are so brilliant in everything what they have been doing and their evolution has been so indredible that it turns very difficult to choose. :)

  • Word.

  • @parkt6792 Yeah,i agree with that, but OK Computer is THE BEST FUCKING CD OF THE HISTORY!!!

  • This song contains probably the most distinctive Jonny Greenwood guitar playing, I love it.

God look at how bad Phil's posture was 12 years ago

  • the guitars and harmonies in this song are so lush and relaxing - often gets overshadowed, but one of the many gems on OK computer. Shame they don't play it live anymore.

Hard to compare radiohead albums - but i'd say:

    1. OK computer

    2. (Tie) Kid A, The Bends, In Rainbows

    3. (Tie) Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief

    4. Pablo Honey (which I don't really like apart from Creep)

  • Okay all are fairly equal except pablo honey and some EP's

  • I think Kid A is my favorite. This song is probably my favorite off of Ok Computer.

  • DAMN! :O FORGOT IN RAINBOWS

Ok so it's after Hail to the Thief, but only because I don't know In Rainbows enough yet.

Great live performance! FAVORTIE BAND EVER!!!!

  • Ok Computer, because there's my favorite song of all time on it (Karma Police) and because it's of course their best

Then Kid A, cause there's a lot of talent in it and it's pretty good

Then the Bends, even if Radiohead hates it I really enjoy it

    Then Hail to the Thief

Then I can't place Amnesiac (Headphone inventive music) or Pablo Honey (classic radiohead rock album) so I just put both there

And of course the B-sides are somewhere in the middle...

    That's it for me. :P

  • You're wrong my friend. The list goes like this:

    The Bends

    Hail To The Thief

    OK Computer

    In Rainbows

    Kid A

    Amnesiac

    Pablo Honey

  • Yeah your tastes are noy bad but hey everyone's tastes are different

  • Nah it goes

    Ok computer

    Kid A

    In Rainbows

    Amnesiac

    Hail To the Thief

    The Bends

    Pablo Honey

  • this is probably the song i listen to the most off of OK Computer, surprisingly!! Airbag, too. But yeah, i fucking love this song.

and since we're all talking about albums, I feel a little left out - I listened to Kid A only once and I knew right away - Best album ever. My FAVOURITE.

And I bought OK Computer because everyone told me it was the best, but it took me many listens to get in but it came to #2 for me. At first I thought it was shit, i was like "WHATS WRONG WITH ME?!". It was weird.

  • oh god...i dont know why i love this song so fuckin much...

  • Guys you can`t compare the radiohead albums, not at all because each of them was very specific, after OK computer, each had something new, something different from the others.. so you can`t really tell which is the best.. only thing you can say is I like this one the most, but that`s about it.

  • HAIL TO THE THIEF

  • for me the bends and ok computer albums are the finest of it all..=)

  • OK Computer

    Kid A

    The Bends

    Pablo Honey

    Amnesiac

    Hail To The Thief

Doesnt matter about the others, OK Computer is easily their best album and one of the best ever created.

  • I really don't get how you guys get to decide their best album. I tried, but i simply can't, i love them sooo much.....all of their albums....

  • 1. In Rainbows

    2. OK Computer

    3. Kid A

    4. The Bends

    5. Amnesiac

    6. Hail to the Thief

    7. Pablo Honey

  • Amnesiac

    Ok Computer

    Kid A

    Hail to the Thief

    The Bends

    In Rainbows

  • I almost forgot this song existed! LOVE

  • All the albums are great. Hail To the Thief is my fav though.

  • pablo honey=not so good

  • viva la vida? why must you bring coldplay into this.. -_______-

  • Ok Computer

    Hail to the Thief

    Kid A

    The Bends

    In Rainbows

    Pablo Honey

  • Kid A

    In Rainbows

    The Bends

    Ok Computer

    Pablo Honey

    Amnesiac

    Hail To The Thief

It's only because I haven't really gotten in to HttT yet. I think Pablo Honey's really underrated. Yeah, Creep is overplayed, obviously, but there are other great tracks on the album, and I love the nostaliga of them back when they were so guitar-driven.

  • I always considered HttT as their best album. Really, I got into it very easily, the variety of songs, the meaning behind those, the Orwellian influence and such made this album my favorite. Of course, they're all in the same spot on my list, #1, exclusive to Radiohead only.

  • Yeah, from what I've heard of the album I really dig the Orwellian influence. 2+2=5 is fantastic, I fuckin' love 1984. Orwell's fantastic, and a great influence.

  • that maniac laugh at 0:09 gets me every time

  • Holy jesus that's funny! It sounds like the Wicked Witch of the West

  • Hail to the Thief

    In Rainbows

    OK Computer

    Amnesiac

    The Bends

    Kid A

    Pablo Honey

They're all great, I just find HttT to be my favorite

  • Kid A

    Ok Computer

    The Bends

    In Rainbows

    Amnesiac

    Hail to the thief

    Pablo Honey

  • Pablo Honey

    Amnesiac

  • OK Computer

    Kid A

    In Rainbows

    Amnesiac

    Hail To The Thief

    The Bends

    Pablo Honey

Can't wait for the next deluxe sets of Kid A, Amnesiac, and HttT ;o
