Anderson is superb. A prize winner at Leeds in 1993, he now lives in the S.F. Bay Area and performs in the US and abroad. If you ever have a chance to hear him in person, don't miss it.
IMHO, Mark Anderson is the finest American pianist of his generation. It should also be mentioned that the great flutist with whom he is collaborating is the French-American, Isabelle Chapuis, whose neglect on the part of the larger classical music establishment borders on the criminal.
Great musician, and an even greater person.
