This is why I support Obama and his immediate Federalized welfare dependency plan designed to support the mass unemployed US population.

Without rollout of the President's new 50k wealth redistribution tax initiative, the haves get more and the mass unemployable population winds up with less than ever before.

I agree with Obama in pushing for new tax mandates on anyone who earns $50k or more in gross pre-tax income, it seems like the only way to decrease our nation's growing 3rd world poverty...

after 14 months of unemployment i finally got a new job , i never gave up hope and kept putting in applications, i put in over 200 applications and it finally paid off, 3 different temp services called to offer me a job all in the same week.

Bush was going to as well. The "fiscal conservatives" doubled an enormous deficit that took from Andrew Jackson to the inauguration of Bush Jr. to amass in a mere 8 years! They managed to pass trade agreements not in our interest that resulted in unrestrained outsourcing, insourcing, offshoring, etc... while pretending that bubbles were sustainable and after it all crashed Bush said he was "suspending the free enterprise system to save it" and passed off their mess to Obama.

Perhaps the saddest observation at this point in time, is to see the millions of commenters, the eulogizers and all of the "concerned" citizens out here on youtube who're lamenting the death of Michael Jackson.

The slow and painful death of the American financial system hasn't gotten a tenth of a percentage point of coverage out here, when considering the staggering contrast in the number of those having something to say at all, about anything. This IS truly, a sad state of affairs.

I was a top level manager and I sat in meeting after meeting where we discussed cheating and screwing our suppiers and then laughing as they went out of business. We were one of the largest corporations in the world. Forget the ethical issues with this mindset. I consider it immoral. No it doesn't. I have been employed by some very fair and some very unfair for-profit companies in the past. I live in an at-will state and some of the things I have seen are dispicable.

My point is that offshoring, outsourcing, and foreign insourcing have been very undesirable for American jobs and American jobs are what Americans need in order for Americans to survive without having to rely on the government. I know you understand that.

And yeah a lot of it will go to those so called not-for-profit outfits that actually are for profit by paying themselves HUGH paychecks. Umm, it can take years to put commercial construction projects through. First, you have to draw up the plans! Second, there are environmental impact reports, council meetings, design review boards etc. Third, there are changes, changes, changes -wait for building and planning department- more changes etc. Finally, you can build!!
