hey! well, i just used a high gain distortion and wah... wah wah pedals are tricky and it takes some time for you to make your wah solos sound really cool ;)

just practice, and don't use those high bass and treble distortions with low mids, the mids gives you that smooth an clear sound, good for soloing =)
