It's too bad she's a unique one of a kind of all generations type of woman, that and I'm not stable enough to actually be with her in real life. When the time has passed, the time has expired plus from what I hear she's living a wonderful life with her husband and lovely daughter. It feels strange to know the person I looked up to and fantasized about as a kid is still so popular and somehow convincingly enough attractive. So many looks.
I get angry for watching Flashpoint sometimes but because I still admire her as a beautiful, agile actress-I sometimes tend to watch it and just like a woman says she falls head over heels for a guy....will I have the same effect only in a different yet similar way.
I don't care if it was just acting when she was on Power Rangers but to me she kicked putty patrol ass and of course Lord Zedd and Rita. I enjoy her acting skills as I do for her extraordinary singing talent but I never knew she was so athletic. Unfortunately, for me her role in Flashpoint do not mix very well as someone whose acting part of a swat team helping the mentally impaired-it makes me feel handicap just watching how the story comes together especially with all its integrating clues.
I think of her like a Madonna but also from my boyish fantasies the original Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger. I now understand why some things aren't meant to be probably because there are always other possibilities sprouting and some rewards unseen are worth waiting for the very end
I didn't know that a movie was made about Nancy Nevins. I was a die hard "Sweetwater" fan back in the late 60's. This is the first time I have found any of their work. I am delighted.
I like the Sweetwater's original version and this version of the movie, too. Amy is a great singer and a very beautiful woman. She is amazing, dressing like a psychedelic girl from the sixties.
In '69 I had a friend who talked me into going to see 3Dog Night. The MC comes out and says "Ladies and Gentlemen, Sweetwater" and out comes this guy with a cello, sits down, starts sawing away. Then the percussionist, then the bass, etc. The band is jammin' And I'm thinking, this is cool. The next song starts and there's voice, high, clear, pure and out walks Nevins and for the next hour it was rock heaven. Could have gone home at the end of the set and been totally satisfied.
I Love Amy Jo Johnson..she is my rolemodel..well..one of them..but she is a GREAT beautifull singer and she is CRAZY Beautifull! and what year is theis movie from?
@OfficialKimberlyHart i so totaly agree with you with every thing!!! :D she's just great :D a wonderful actres/singer and also my rolemodel too :D and yes one of them :P Lol

She is the one female who I find irresistable and who isn't a blonde which I normally find attractive.

It's too bad fantasy is nothing compared to the harsh reality one chooses to live no matter how long

Drink a little "Love" wine with friends (in S. FL) and put "Sweetwater" on the stereo. Those were some great days.

I remember seeing this movie on VH1 in 1999. Wonderful film. It introduced me to Sweetwater and have loved them ever since.
