However i havent explored all parts of the map. should i not explore the map in fallout 3, finish final mission and explore map with all new weapons in broken steel or should i take my time, explore the wasteland in fallout 3 and then go to broken steel. bassically should i explore map in broken steel or fallout 3??

I am not 100% sure, if you're only save is when you're attacking the purifier, I say give it a try but if you have something before it it's probably just best to load that save.
