the guitar is just awesome lots of sustain and it plays amazing not sure about the trem i don,t use it i have it blocked. hope this helps

Ya in a way , it's what you practice that matters but i find with guitar, as long as your playing in general your knowledge and skills improve, but if you are on a time budget, go right for the theory, there are fun/free lessons all over youtube/the web, rock on
