  • In 1968 Brian Jones was still producing the goods occasionally, such as No Expectations, I'm a Country Boy, Still a Fool & Jumpin Jack Flash. And when you see the film "Sympathy for the Devil" you will see that he still holding it together then. I think the problem was one of trying to stay positive mentally. Infact just before he was murdered, he was talking about getting a new band together.

  • Too bad the sound quality isn't better...these rehearsals were prime Stones just when they were entering their best era.

  • This is Ry on guitar

  • is this brian jones on these sessions or someone else like ry cooder.

  • Supposedly Brian Jones was in Paris celebrating his birthday. I think this is the session where Ry Cooder later claimed that Keith learned and stole all his licks.

  • yeah at this point brian was a vegetable and hated jagger/richards horse shit music.

  • @billiam77

No this is just one of those sessions. Keith recorded Ry and also listened to stuff like the Performance soundtrack or Jammin with Edvards where one can clearly hear some of the riffs and licks, part of Midnight Rambler.

  • Svara på det här videoklippet...
