  • Dosent work with NMM :(

  • You have the best tutorials ever! you have help understand so much about moding files and thanks for that .just a few ? can you use this pfp for other weapon Replacers ? and also maybe do a video on body type and face Replacers its so hard to find good videos on those

  • How would you do this with the Nexus Mod manager?

  • @TheVaultDwellar I don't believe you can yet. NMM is still new. I would stick with using FOMM for this mod instead.

  • @Cerealkiller257 Yeah, I already unistalled FOMM and it messes up my mods when I install and use it, so whatever, I'll just wait it out I guess.

  • anyone run into a problem where when adding the files to PFP they get

    The following sources are missing:

    The_Commando_-_Rifle_Animation_Pack-38527-1-1b.rar

    The_Professional_-_Pistol_Animation_Pack-38527-1-1.rar

funny thing is both the files are in the source files file.

I am getting frustrated so was hoping someone could help thanks.

  • yes these vid series are nice because you explain how to do things and it helps us a lot good job and hope there are more down the road.

  • Thank you so much! I'm gonna enjoy replaying New Vegas with these mods. You helped me tremendously!

  • @GophersVids my brain hurts.... I would download this mod but this tutorial is unhelpful to me due to the fact that I have no idea what your talking about at all and the set up of the file seems to have changed an incredible amount.

  • I like how you did that at the end shooting the Screen then fading to black

  • Really hope NMM is updated with an "Add PFP" option. Otherwise, maybe you could make a script in the installer that asks for the original files' locations if you have the time :P

  • Thanks so much for the help man! I'm a real newb at Fallout modding :P.

  • @GophersVids Okay, I couldn't find it. Also, These video are awesome. Thnaks for the help.

  • never mind

  • how do i add a pfp file if im using nmm (nexus mod manager)

  • @SpartasRevenge360 You can't. You have to use FOMM for this. See one of my later videos for how to get FOMM working again in you opened NMM for New Vegas.

  • @GophersVids I have a problem, I installed NMM and deleted FOMM so they wouldn't fight each other, Like you said. I then re-installed FOMM to do this but it crashes on start up and I don't know what to do.

  • Amazing work - thanks :)

  • I did what the video says but it keeps on saying "The Following Sources Are Missing" Idk what to do to get this right >.<

  • I did exacly what you did in this video but package manager is claiming it cannot find the animation packs. What to do ?

  • @AllonNL

I got the same problem when I tried to install it, however I found a way to get it installed anyway.

    Do this:

    1. Extract all the files.

    2. copy/ cut the files from both the "professional-pistol animation" folder and the ones from "the commando - rifle animations" folder.

    3. then paste them in to the folder named "Premade Weapon Animation Replacer FOMOD" that you extracted from the FOMOD file.

  • @AllonNL

    4. open the package manager in FOMM then instead of selecting "add PFP" select "create from folder", then you choose the folder named "Premade Weapon Animation Replacer FOMOD" and add it like a normal FOMOD.

    Hope this helps.

  • The weapon animation replacer is an awesome install to replace the weapon stances from New Vegas Reanimated (which thankfully replaced the god awful vanilla running animations). Thanks for making the installer FOMOD.

  • thank you , very much . helps out alot

  • So if we decide to install something like FOOK or WME, i am assuming we would have to first deactivate Weapon Animations and then reinstall it in the package manager after installing any weapon mods.

  • @TheWhiteNinjaman That is probably what I would do, but I think FOOK and WME only add the 1st person core animations anyway. So it probably wont really matter either way.

  • Thanks for this tutorial. It really helped me A LOT.

BTW, I see you like FEAR games.

  • @maledikt Love that type of story driven scary game :)

  • @GophersVids I'm a little confused, about the 2 first files, we just install the whole thing? Install the ones we want? Or Save to a certain folder??? Please Reply !!!

  • @NaruMaakaKazuya Save them to a folder as directed in the video. I call the folder 'Source Files' but you can call it what you like. Just make sure there are just those two files in the folder.

  • @GophersVids How do you turn off hud?

  • @EpcGam3r I use iHUD. See part 1 of this video series.

  • i love the animations, except for when you're running forward with a weapon. It looks down right awful, sorry to say. The shoulder roll is just exaggerated and over the top. So much movement.

Had to individually pick out the run animations and pull them out.

  • thank u alot i would not be able to install this mod without u

  • I've been following these guides and I have installed all of the mods mentioned in these videos, and they've all been working great. I'm now considering installing FOOK, but I'm nervous that it will mess a lot of things up since it will probably cause conflicts with Project Nevada and Porco Bueno. Do you think any conflicts it causes will be fixable with a merged patch, or should I only use one of the overhaul mods at a time?

  • DUDE U R THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!!!! wish my teachers teach like u man Great tutorials. btw r u going to do anymore tutorials for FONV?

  • FOOK, AWOP or CFW? Can't wait to see what he covers next! :)

  • @whoaitstiger CFW= Classic Fallout Weapons? If so, that's included with Project Nevada. And I think that FOOK is incompatible with Nevada because they're both overhauls.

  • @Browncoat1984 I managed to get FOOK running pretty smoothly with Project Nevada as long as I don't use the Project Nevada Equipment. If I use that, it can cause some bugs in game and I was going to go through FNV edit to solve them at some point - once I'm better at it. As far as the weapons, is the entire mod included in PN? Because that would save me a lot of trouble! :)

  • @whoaitstiger I think it is. They might have a weapon list somewhere, but when I checked it seemed to include all of them. If its just one or two though I'd say just leave it and go with Nevada. And doesn't Nevada have a similar focus to FOOK though so wouldn't running them both together be redundant? IMHO your next one should be on AWOP and other popular quest mods :)

  • @Browncoat1984 Also, NMC just released his amazing texture pack for New Vegas so you might want to consider replacing Ojo Bueno with that because its more complete

  • @Browncoat1984 The main selling point for FOOK for me was adding in the unused vanilla weapons to the lists. It is still only a few guns and armors so I might give it a miss for now (new HD/install) seeing it doesn't effect balance nearly as much as PN.

  • (continued from comment below)

So again, with all that said thank you from the bottom of my heart sir for not only the tutorials, but the the genuine mods you make and put so much effort into. Keep up the great work friend.

  • Hey Gopher, i just want to say thank you so much for taking the time in making these video tutorials. Im a, well i like to think myself as a veteran of modding the fallout games even making some myself. I wanted to watch your videos and find out just what you were covering, and might i say, even from an experienced modder i learned some very valuable facts and tips. With that said, id also like to say thank you for taking the time in making a scripted installer for this mod in particular.

  • Is there any reload animation mods?

  • i really like these videos

  • This rules.

  • It's like you can read my mind! Thanks again Gopher!

  • GOPHER YOUR A LEGEND! THANK YOU!

  • You're a hero Gopher

  • Love this video series. Its nice to have video series like your mod tutorials for New Vegas and the FCOM Installation Tutorial for Oblivion. You should do a video tutorial on installing popular quest mods to expand our game :).

  • Thank you again for these videos, the scripted installer looks like it will save a lot of trouble. Would you consider doing an episode about AWOP and it's suite of compatibility patches?

  • yeah i got the bug....with only the laser rifles!

its still idled, but its zooming in slightly

but not aimed down the sights

  • I have already installed the mod creating a new fomod for every option and that's was quite a pain in the ass, this REALLY makes changing easier. Thanks a lot.

  • @Mekror Yeah that is how I started out, and in fact because I wanted to show lots of different animation options just for this video, that is what actually made me make a scripted install. Once I made it, I realised how bloody useful it was I totally changed the tutorial to match this new way of installing.

  • Actually from Manchester originally, but spent a decade in liverpool and well over a decade in norway so my accent is pretty messed up :)

  • @GophersVids I like your accent. o,o

  • Thanks for this Gopher

  • Wait, are you actually from Norway, because you definitely sound like you come from the English Midlands.

  • Awesome!
