Nice review and as far as the noise goes... GM is finally sick of hearing how all thier vehicles get squeaks and rattles in the dash after a few years so they have put a little helper Monkey behind the dash with an electric impact gun and that is the sound of him retorquing all the dash fasteners.

good idea but you're right John the price is gonna kill it. that noise would make me take it back and see what exactly it is. i would consider getting it though. but only if it was about 10Gs cheaper.

I wonder if that funny sound is the CD/DVD/Nav/portable toaster...... player doing a self clean on the lazer head. Just a guess, but it sounds plausible.

Or maybe there is a guinea pig caught in a leg hold trap under the dash. I don't know. ;)

All I got to say is not all cars are perfect. Look at toyota for example. I'd rather it make those noises than put me in danger. My 07 denali did the same thing but it was way quiet. I think the noise is the cd reader for the navigation cd is going back and fourth like it should but the motor is bad

thanks John that was interesting I'm still really scared from GM caring out electric Vehicles i feel like they are doing their job and engineering Test so fast they didn't give it enough time in the lap to test it even if Toyota shows lately some kind of quality problems

i still have more concern when it comes to GM i still believe people drive acceleration problem with Toyota is human error lots of people out there they think its just because Automatic then drive and operate with one foot on gas and breaks pedal is OK i think it is not and this is the problem
