i actually love this game but im just to damn scared to play it lol but its a good horror game its actually a pretty good game u just have to have patience and you'll get through it...and the top key is that u have to pay attention because the numbers on the door could be code for something..Silent Hill is actually a thinking game...LOVE IT

This is my first playthrough of Homecoming, and I'm about halfway through the hotel. At the beginning of my game in the nightmare hospital, there was a baby crying in the hallway, but when I got to the hotel, the woman wasn't singing. My friend came over yesterday and started a game of his own, but the hallway in the hospital was silent for him. I was disappointed that he didn't get this rather creepy sound sequence. However, when he got to the hotel the woman was singing which wasn't my case.
Resident Evil will forever be my favorite. The original style was the best. Now it's mainly shooter.. I still like it though.. but not as much. Silent Hill is too freaky for me haha
the only thing i dont like about Resident Evil games are the controls!! lol i always have a hard time controlling the characters, from resident evils 1-3 to da newest one.. but i did enjoyed playin Nemesis..
I don't think that's immature...my mom is 38 (she'll kill me if she found out I told her age O_O) and she still likes to play games....I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I mean honestly there are games for adults and this game is for adults...and if adults like to play kid games, that's fine. Everybody needs to let off some steam once in awhile. And games can help blow off steam....Now don't be mad at me for saying this but...your wife needs to lighten up

=( silent hill its not the same anymore, its so active that there's more light and not 6 or 8 enemies in the same room because the enemies are more smart. Well the camera its better, this is my first video looking this silent hill 360 and hope later its more infested with monsters.
another thing its that your protagonist its more intelligent and can do more tricks with weapons, the weapons don't break like in silent hill 5 right? Another thing I see its that its more like resident evil type.
i've played silent hill 1-4. i think 3 was the best, 4 just sucked ass. i havent played this yet though, probly run down to gamestop tomorrow and pick it up.
This game is boring but I have to play it since I bought it! Left 4 dead is way better than this game. You don't really do anything in Silent Hill and the chances of you even getting kill something are really small.
Thats because silent hill isnt an action game. Its a survival horror. People dont play silent hill for the killing, they play it for the story, puzzles, scaryness, and adventure. It makes no sense to compare it to L4D since there 2 completely different games.

once you get the maintenance key by jumping over a hole near where the elevator is. go back outside and unlock the chain gate next to the hotel. then you have to rewire electricity and voila
There seems to be some sort of glitch on my game... I know where the last clue is, i have to fall down in the 500 wing to get the final clue, It let me the first time, but i died by the nurse, slud... can anyone tell me why its not letting me go down from the 500 to 400..???
and anthore thing it is very dificult to proced afterwards u waste ur ammo coz those nedlers are relly hard to kill unless ur silent hill pro and can evade them in close combat alot.
i got a tip for you dont waste ur ammo on the nedlerss or whatever those incescets with wings are coz they will reflect ur ammo and ull waste it however if u do use it on them shoot only on there head coz otherways ull waste ur ammo. (i found out it the hard way by dieing multiple times.)

i got homecoming on my PC but some of the dialoges are muted for some reason and some times i dont hear any doors or steps its likem a really silent game
I'm guessing you have never played silent hill before. Sure, there are creatures, but they have to make sense. It doesn't make sense why there are nurses in a hotel, like it wouldn't make sense if there were dogs in a hospital.
Actually I've played all the games but the original and beaten all but the room (not going to play again either) and homecoming. I dont think that these creatures are aspects of his mind like they were in two so having creatures outside of their normal environments would make sense.
I'll agree that the storyline for homecoming isn't up to the standard of 2 and 3 but at least its an actual silent hill game not a game they put the name into so it would sell better like 4. I love what they did with the guns though. Barely hold any ammo but when shot at the right time they are utterly devastating. Encourages you to use them more instead of hoarding every single bullet you find.

This is my first playthrough of Homecoming, and I'm about halfway through the hotel. i got homecoming on my PC but some of the dialoges are muted for some reason and some times i dont hear any doors or steps its likem a really silent game

I'm guessing you have never played silent hill before. Sure, there are creatures, but they have to make sense. It doesn't make sense why there are nurses in a hotel, like it wouldn't make sense if there were dogs in a hospital.

Actually I've played all the games but the original and beaten all but the room (not going to play again either) and homecoming. I dont think that these creatures are aspects of his mind like they were in two so having creatures outside of their normal environments would make sense.

Well, that is true. But I think it was more of laziness on the developers part. I don't like Silent Hill 4 and Homecoming as much as the others.

I'll agree that the storyline for homecoming isn't up to the standard of 2 and 3 but at least its an actual silent hill game not a game they put the name into so it would sell better like 4. I love what they did with the guns though. Barely hold any ammo but when shot at the right time they are utterly devastating. Encourages you to use them more instead of hoarding every single bullet you find.
