That's some pretty creative stuff, right there! Great video. I loved the ending with the "ball scores" posted. I'm a land surveyor in the state of Missouri who always has his snake boots in tow, & possibly his chaps, to boot. You're right. There are a bunch of critters out there who could do us some harm. I've always told folks I'm not afraid of snakes, but I most definitely respect them.
@OutdoorsmanByDesign Thanks for those comments. I would wear chaps but man it is just way to hot out there. Rest assured though, I am never without my snake boots while stomping around in the brush.
Good Vid! Gotta watch where you step down here in Texas. Always keep ya head on swivel and always be aware of the surrounding! Wear 'em snake boots! U must be crazy for just wearing your work boots! LMAO... I'm gonna wear my snake boots cause I can't hear 'em rattling so its just my eyes and my snake boots. Hope you caught some good bacon during your trip.
@TexasDeafOutdoors Thanks I appreciate the comments and you watching. BTW, those are not work boots. Those are redhead snake boots. Very rare for me not to have them on. Dad just had on his sneakers and hadn't put on his boots yet. He won't make that mistake again.
wow man your bring sexy back with them boots lol!!!!!!!!!!! Man that was a big rattler. Dang if I lived down there I would be getting into to much trouble or end up dead jacking with all them hazards. A big rattle snake up here where I live is about 18 to 24 inches long.
@jcp342 Why thanks for that wonderful comment. EVERYONE wears snake boots. In fact the unwritten rule is you don't even get out of the truck without them on. My biggest rattler so far is 6'2". Thanks for watching Jesse!
@TXBucksnort well your welcome, hell up here i just wear my work boots lol! We dont have near as mean snakes up here as you do down there. Wow 6'2" damn thats big I would have do everything right to catch that big sucker and not get bit! I am going to have to come to tx one of these days durring the summer and check out some of this stuff 4 myself. Knowing my luck I wouldn't see a darn one lol.
nature is to be respected for sure...it definitely has the ability to defend itself...and you weren't kidding with "right between the eyes" lol! great vid
@mnjbooth I wish I could have gotten the shot on video but it just happened to quick. We had just unloaded our stuff and were fixing to go out to look for some pigs. Thanks for watching.
@AntiHuntersLoveMe Thats a banana spider or a garden spider. I've heard them called both. They don't look very friendly but I do know they aren't poisonous. Thanks for watching. I always appreciate your comments.
Gotta have your head on a swivel in South Texas. Along with lots of great game all of God's critters come out when it's hot. One of my craziest encounters was a South Texas Blue Indigo Snake. Longer than the width of my truck 100yds from camp & very fast & very intimidating. However they eat rattle snakes & as crazy as it may sound, if you see one leave it alone. Stay safe. Nice Vid.
@ElGrandeDawg Those indigos are impressive snakes to say the least. They always get a free pass. I have not seen one on our place yet. Thanks for the comments and I appreciate you watching.
lol, last year on opening day my friend shot a rattler in the head with his .30/06. it didn't have a head anymore and it still was striking at him! screw them snakes! i've never seen bees like that, lol i wouldn't go near them either!
@fracwilt Those bees seem to be a continuing problem. We have battled them all year. As long as they stay in their tree I'll leave them be. Thanks for watching.
@deepfriedking and not to mention it was "Hotter n Hell", "Hotter n Hell", Thanks for watching. BTW, the white wing are going crazy right now. It was unbelievable.
SPIDERS!!! i cant stand them!!! one thing im glad we havent ran across is a bee nest.i asked dave the other day,how often does he look up in a tree before cutting it.even a wasp nest is bad business!!! i do have a feeder with those in them and we got an idea how to remove and it doesnt involve pyro or shotguns!!!lol! gonna give it a try next wknd! great vid Danny glad you got that snake!!!
@BOHEMIANHUNTINGCLUB- Wasp spray pisses bees off. What worked for us was gasloine in spray bottles at night. Sounds nutty but that was an old school remedy from a 72 yr old hunter.
