  • All This Love...

  • Classic

  • This was Motown 25th. Anniversary....Great show.....

  • ohhh i love el debarge smh

  • Work it out babies. Love it, love it.

  • There are so many people who are JEALOUS and HATIN on the handsome El DeBarge!!!!

  • ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS A WOMAN WHO SANG THIS. DIDN'T KNOW I WAS RIGHT!

  • Debarge was doing great by themselves!!! They didn't need High Inergy interrupting, sharing the spotlight!!! They CAN'T sing nearly as great as Debarge anyway!! It was an insult to DeBarge to have to share the stage with High Inergy!!

  • El Debarge is the composer, writer and singer of this song.Outside of the obvious Michael Jackson performance,Debarge was the only reason I watched show!!

  • damm they gorgeous

  • That was not the original El Debarge singing. Look closely, it was someone else.

  • @benbaker108 You need to get your eyes checked....That is El Debarge singing.

  • Fantastic Music ! Genius !

  • In the harsh society and cold, cruel world we live in nowadays, love is the only thing that can gaurantee you happiness.

i came up with that myself.

  • They really did their thing that night, especially the adorable EL DeBarge!!!

  • aww i love them!!! I just met El and Chico last week! Check out my vids xD

  • they were some pretty ass people I swear lol

  • Love you guys!! you are beautiful and talented, stay strong and get better.

  • The performance was awesome!

  • The 84' Motown Awards when Micheal Jackson made His-tory !!!!!! GREASTEST Motown Awards shows EVER !!!!!!

  • This video shows that raw talent gets u no where anymore. U hav to b in the Illuminati or sex'd up to b successful :( thumbs up if u wanna go back to the 80's!

  • BRING BACK THE 80s!

  • Wow, Debarge is so young here, and his voice was higher.

  • like this song

  • omg i could've swore that was the girl singing ,, wdf is going on here??

  • So, only the lead singers get a microphone?

  • then Michael tore the house down

  • uwielbiam tego faceta!!!Niesamowity rytm.Chce się Zyć!

  • WOW Amazingly Talented Family! BeBarge Is Simply Timeless!

  • De Barge

  • Lady in da green, should been a solo act, w/ all dat energy. lol like an ol school beyonce. lol

  • @USNubia23 , You are so right!

  • Oh my God, that was AWESOME!!!! I really wish I had a copy of Motown 25. Such a classic.

  • That was AWESOME!!!

  • I remember seeing this on Motown 25,after Michael Jackson performed. He upstaged anyone who dared to take the stage, but I enjoyed Debarge's perfomance...

  • Debarge R my fam. By the time they & High Inergy got signed, Motown had totally moved 2 LA & that old-school Artist Dev Dept (Cholly Atkins, Maurice King, Ms. Maxine) was no more, or at least never the same. Fam were pretty much on their own with how 2 dance, how 2 carry themselves. They already knew how 2 sing & that was all they needed at 1st. They never had a father around like Joe Jackson 2 beat & terrorize them in2 precision & concentration LoL. Bunny & El could already dance. Love U fam!

  • @clayfamily....There was nothing wrong with their choreography! Dancers did not do 'acrobats' at that time. Their movements were totally appropriate for the songs rendered. In addition, Cholly Atkins was a well known and respected choreographer in the day. Being from the old school, I miss seeing clean and sassy performances such as this! Long gone are the good old days! Nowadays, it's all about going on stage looking, dancing and acting like you've been in a field with wild geese.

  • ok this performance was sssooo scatter brained! that second jam was just awful, just absolutely terrible!

  • They need to fire their choreographer! lol

  • I luv his new cd!!!!

  • We miss you all

  • wow band is playing it a little to fast

  • El can get it!

  • He is still fine.

  • LOL his facial expression at 1:35 was too cute! :)

  • i remember oh so right

  • i had some problems and no one could seem to solve them

  • @mjjcng8958 i still got problems, aint nobody trynna solve 'em

  • Love the performance! Debarge is awesome and El is amazing. I love his new album Second Chance. I am glad that I was born in 1985 even though at that time I was too young to appreciate their music along with other great artists like Michael Jackson at that time

  • is that Patrice Russian in the purple dress???

  • hahaha....so fake choir...the rest have no mics..

  • lol

  • poor quality

  • el is so cuteee

  • El 's singing is awesome, especially when Debarge comes back out with high inergy

  • @SyrenniaLestrange

Bwhahahahaa! You are so funny. This and your other comment had me rolling.

I totally agree about Mark and James with their swag. I love watching them. Mark with his foot movement and James with that hip sway. lol. They used to be getting it in.

  • ohhhh shiiittt this that stuff right here

  • This has been bumped up a few notes, but I still love it! I remember when I first heard the original version, I heard it a little while after hearing this. I was kinda disappointed in it, cuz I was thinking that they would sing the harmony in the chorus like they're doing hear. Anyway, the original version has become a huge favorite of mine (but I still love this version, though).

  • The girl in the green dress was a dancer! She almost came out that dress a couple times! LOL

  • tjhis is tha music right here!!!

  • they are so cute, especially james

  • @WINGLESSANGEL07 uh un El is the hottest!

  • I have this vid on one of my old beta tapes and used to watch it all the time...to bad High Energy could get another hit other than "You can't turn me on"..

  • Comment removed

  • These people have real talent

  • que linda , eu tava na barriga da minha mãe nessa época !!!! rs , amo essa musica !

  • I remember this Motown 25

  • Loving the live sound. Has anyone seen the documentary on UNSUNG???

  • @bradleythomas27 the sonq is can't stop and it's much slower than when they performed it on here but you can find it on YouTube though

  • What is the last song where Debarge & High Energy are singing together!?

  • @ 4:06 I melted but anway I love debarge great performance

  • @SyrenniaLestrange No. They are black and white. Their stepfather is Dominican and that's why people think that.

  • Besides the Jackson's this family of singer's are up there also..

  • starting @ 4:00 James dancing is hilarious!

but i love me some DeBarge lol

  • Bunny Debarge could not keep up with the girl in the green dress at 3:41

  • DeBarge were a good group, but comparing them to the Jacksons is like saying a Toyota Prius is as fast as a Maserat. You're talking about a worldlike experience (the Jacksons) and a group known in mostly the US.

By the way I haven't seen a DeBarge playing an instrument during a live session. With the Jacksons I have ... Several times.

In closing I wou;d like to say I love DeBarge and I always think it's a pity this group underachieved given it's talents.

  • I'm about to show my age here but I remember watching this when it originally aired. I was in my early teens at the time. The DeBarge was a new group then and we was falling out over the sight of them. Being a boy I was so in love with Bunny Debarge it wasn't funny. LOL! This poor girl at my high school had a real striking resemblance to Bunny when the DeBarge hit the scene and really started getting way more attention then she wanted. We was drooling over that girl. So that was 25+ years ago.

  • DeBarge were an awesome group, real talent!

  • EL DEBARGE STILL IN THE JAIYL.I WANT KNOW PLEASE.

  • This was straight after MJ's Billie Jean performance! lol I'm sorry any1 who comes on after that performance MJ gave looks Stupid lol i felt sorry for debarge that night.

  • Look at Randy's smooth moves! :)

  • much love debarge

  • Debarge did a great job sing on the Motown 25. They dance all right.

  • he sound so young on this song, but of course still cute.

  • I love El Debarge! So adorable !

  • Why oh why don't they make music like this any more?

  • the best singig group

  • I love DeBarge.... but these dance moves had me cracking up...

  • yoooo i love this songg!! i was born n 91 but i dead love this song!!!!

  • Ive been listening to the Debarge family since the early 80's and they are all so talented.!

Can someone please tell me the names of the family members from left to right in this video?

The only Debarge members that I can identify is Bunny, El, and Chico

  • While the family is singing "All This Love" it's James, Bunny, Mark, Bobby, and El in the front of the group. Chico was not a part of the group yet.

  • @jasmineg007 Cooll. Thanks. But Left to right ?

When I said I could I ID EL, Bunny and Chico, I meant at any time I see the family all together, I knew that Chico wasnt in this line up.

But If you tell me who is who left to right (Obviously bunny is #2)

  • @jasmineg007 Cool thanks :)

  • From left to right : James, Bunny, Mark, Randy.

El is in the front singing :-)

  • hehe Thank you.. I totally know *EL* and *Bunny*

Out of all the family members. I can ID EL, Bunny and Chico (even though I know he wasnt in this line up) :)

  • omg james is hilarious......wow his dancing nearly gave me a heart attack wwhile watching this video..el debarge singing,,can't stop, james and mark dancing..PRICELESS!

  • Hahaha, James is just killing me softly with his dancing!!

  • diz da jam and he was cute

  • THE SHIT

  • Loved It!!

  • puertto rican looking ass people lfmao

  • this is from motown 25

  • that lanky fella on the left is trippin me out lol, but still i really like this upbeat version

  • @rjohn00017 u know thats Janet's 1st husband...he really thought he was jamming but for the 80's i guess he was lol but El on the otherhand know he can sang

  • JUST WOW!!!! I remember being glued to the TV when this came on,its just one of those momentus musical occasions that wont be forgotten.& OMG i didnt know Feliciano played that guitar solo damn it took 27yrs to find that out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jose Feliciano did the guitar solo on the studio version. Hit #17 in Billboard.

  • OMG. This is priceless. Thank you.

  • asentha, the reason they are the only two with the mics is because they are lead singers from two seperate groups that are on the stage

  • Gosh, I remember watching Motown 25 to see Michael Jackson and they came on right AFTER Michael did the moonwalk and I remember just going, "DAMN! 1983 was the year!"

  • @MsSilentsiren i wish i was born during that era. my generation sucks lol

  • @MsSilentsiren Yeah as well as High Inergy and Debarge performed they couldn't compare to Michael. He really did steal the show that night

  • @MsSilentsiren Micheal upstaged every1 that nite, but debarge was good.

  • @MsSilentsiren Micheal up staged every1 that nite.

  • Thank you James grew into his tall akwardness!!! I love Debarge!!

  • WTF James hahaha...still love ya even though I don't know what the hell kind of dancing that was lol!!!! oh how I miss debarge!!

  • Haha El's face at 1:36 lmfao. He's still hot though.

    Jess14yrsold

  • How come El and the chick in the purple are the only ones with microphones? LOL!!!!

  • Marty said, "Finally I can dance."

  • YES !!! memories.......Bunny looks so beautiful...mmmmmm..mmmm...and LOL@James doin the ''Carlton''...I used to have the tape of MOTOWN 25 and me and my cousins used to laugh at James' dance moves, but DROOL over Bunny....great group, DEBARGE ...YEAH!!

  • Everytime I read something about De Barge now it is about them being light-skinned , mixed or the tragedies in their lives when it used to be about their music and the memories it bought back to people. It just goes to show how much modern Hip- Hop/R&B (1993- present) and ghetto culture has poisoned Black People and why there will never be any black unity in the United States. Some of you people bringing your phobias and self- hatred on this are sick and perverted and need to see a shrink.

  • You speak much truth!!!!

  • @TheNewsoul2 I agree with you, BUT I have a problem with you specifying only blacks. I really hate that. :{ Because , the media and people in general [ As much as I hate to say that] will say anything about artists they see that have been out of the peoples eye for awhile. Black, White, Gay, Drinker, Drugger ETC. People get bored to easily and THE WORST THING IS, STUPID PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY READ. TC. GB :}}

  • @TheNewsoul2 That right we should get over this skin garbage and love each other regardless

  • @TheNewsoul2 YOU BETTER STOP PREACHING! Tell them their HATE and ignorance is WHY we aren't as one. AS LIGHT AND MIXED as they were, they identified with their black roots and music. THey didn't SELL OUT and continually PUSH their lightskinned beauty in our faces, ignorant self hating color blind blacks did... NEVER heard them go on about their skin color. Black people are so lost...and as a result..we have the worst music in the last 10 years!

  • @canttouchthis421 Amongts the highest rates of crime, unemployement, diseases and generally uneducated in comparison with other races. IDIOTS IDIOTS IDIOTS....look in the mirror and work on LOVING YOU! Your skin is here to stay...even if you bleach it, it won't change anything....now tell me this...if their lives EL and Bobby and Chico plus others are only as good as their lightskin, tell me why they battled with severe drug use????? Because it's a PROBLEM in OUR COMMUNITY....LOSERS!

  • @canttouchthis421 *standing ovation*

  • @TheNewsoul2 Thank you, you are so right, but we must learn to bring unity to our families for our children. History has proven that there is nothing African-Americans (not black) "we're not black", can not do when we put our minds and hearts in it. We lead and every one else follows. It is time for change for us & change is coming, in a good way.

  • El's get up was straight up corny, hilarious. But he does have great vocals. I hope he makes a comeback.

  • Yep, cause Berry wasn't gonna have it.

  • People, stop comparing DeBarge to the Jacksons, compare them to The Sylvers, because these groups have a female voice the the group!

  • Bunny and da chick in the purple can get the boom boom pow, then anyway. And yall cant blame the dancin thats how mixed children dance rhythm, no rhythm. rhythm, no rhythm...and so on lmao

  • lmao...u r crazy....

  • What was up with those suspenders?

  • wow!!!!!!!!! El was really young in this vid his voice has matured though as he got older....thanks for sharing ...........love this song..........TIMELESS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • does anyone know the song at the end with both groups singing... i really like it, i want to find it

  • The DeBarges were actually as talented as the Jacksons; they just didn't have a "Michael". But El and Chico together might equal a "Janet" and the rest would equal the other Jacksons. Not saying their careers have been nearly as successful, but have you listened to Chico's music? He's like DeAngelo!

The boy is bad! If he could have stayed away from the drugs, he might have been a superstar. Bobby, Tommy and Mark were stellar singers and writers, so they surpass Tito, Jackie and Randy.

  • wow! i always thought this was a girl singing this still love this song!

  • dude me too back in the day

  • I luv debarge! but i have to see this at least once a week to get good laugh. Bless JAmes little heart

  • dont be talkin bout my baby James!!!

El do look da best and he sexxyyy, but James my baby too and he sexxyyy too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The one that married janet look Gay as hell what the fuck was she thinking

  • he dose a little thats james

  • I don't know, but I noticed James was a little off cue with those dance moves in the beginning.

  • love the debarge, may bobby and their father robert sr. r.i.p. bebarge 4ever. 11-1-09. they r too fine and sexy.

  • WHEW! MY DARLING

  • DeBarge, now and forever!

  • They had heavenly voices but couldn't dance if their lives depended on it!

  • THATS SO TRUE

  • @luvureally The DeBarges R my fam...2 bad they didn't have a dad like Joe Jackson 2 whup them in2 rhythmic percision thru non-stop rehearsals (Just joking)...They would B totally on-point

  • Sad thing is they had a far worst father! They have spoken of how he sexually & physically abused them and their mother. That is the main reason for their drug problems. At least Joe loved his children (in a iron-fisted totalitarian manner) and was concerned about them.

  • @luvureally i wouldn't have wanted anyone of them for my dad! they were both crazy!

  • @luvureally - so true! haha! But El seems to have nice rhythym, though.

  • @luvureally Hehehe I think Randy had good moves(the one all the way on the right). But James seemed a little uncomfy up there all tall and lanky *giggles*

But Im sooo glad that James is releasing a Gospel CD recently (great to see him blooming even more- he does have a great voice too). And they are all soo cute ! :)

  • @Mahlercougar When it comes to music I'll take great singers with a little rhythm deficiency any day over great dancers with a whole lot of vocal deficiency! LOL! All Debarge has to do is stand there and sing and that would be just fine.

  • @luvureally TRUE!! Trust me I totally agree with you. I suppose as a Debarge fan I kinda made a little observation.I wasnt making fun like Ive seen people do. People do compare the Jackson 5 With Debarge but I think the Jacksons were great *entertainers*, but Debarges were just pure TALENT all the way. I too, would rather listen to them sing and stand there then to move around.

I so look forward to James new Gospel CD

    *GOD BLESS* :)

  • @Mahlercougar You are so right! I enjoyed both groups equally, but I do believe the Debarges were better all around musicians(I believe everybody plays 1 or more instruments & is capable of singing lead) and the Jacksons had a lock on the entertainment aspect. Never saw Debarge live, but so J-5 and it was a great show.

  • @luvureally LOL!!! They'er just following family tradition. You ever see SWITCH try to dance? LOL!

  • @luvureally LOL, Yeah, I guess your right...........could have had a better stylist too, I mean, I know this was 83, but suspenders, bowtie, and pants up to your chest? UH..............

  • @luvureally

the front-man can dance great actually

  • Great to see them together.

  • I just wanted to add that besides this solid performance by Debarge & others of course like the Jackson 5 & the incompariable Michael on his solo performance, Diana Ross etc... The Temptations & The Four Tops brought the pain on this same show as well. Awesome

  • Its been awhile since I've pulled out that old taped VHS recorded Motown 25 show, so I appreciated this. Loved this song ever since I was in short pants, especially the chick from the Debarge, oh mamma. High energy was hot too, indeed. Motown 25 needs to be on DVD already. Some of the best music & performances to date. I miss those times & the joy of them long before music went to hell with the likes of turds like LiL Wayne, T-Pain, Britany Spears & the rest of the neo manure.

  • love this song (all this love), but it was soo fast right here..

that last song is hot though... can someone name it for me?

oh yeah, james and mark were movin those lil feet at that last song

  • LOVE IT...I see rite now Ima be up..AGAIN...all nite...dang.

  • My God El is hot! I love this song. He has a Mary Wells quality to his voice--very smooth, very sultry, innocent at the same time. I remember this video!

  • It always seemed James was off a beat when he was dancing lolol but I was this in 1983 and it was one of the highlights of my life.

  • they r half white half black not puerto rican

  • i like how this song has that spanish vibe to it. real smooth jam

  • they are not puerto rican

  • LMAO They look super gay, but I still love em

  • LEGENDZZZ

  • a lady i know from michigan, knew them in her younger age! i was awe struck when she told me
