Hey - it would be awesome to see how this turned out - or at least see some more of the stuff you made.
And you probably know this - but they made an Adam Jensen coat and sell it from the Eidos store. It might be out of stock now though. I think it is in Europe, at least.
The pattern has been made officially available at the eidos montreal blog. You'll have to search for it as Youtube won't let me post links in the comments.
Those shades are awesome!! I was wondering do you plan on buying the Adam Jensen jacket? They have a picture of the jacket they are selling by Musterbrand LLC, they have it a picture of it at joystiq.com, it looks pretty sweet!!
you can also google "Musterbrand LLC Deus Ex" and there are several pictures of the jacket, I know you said you were looking for one, and I think the jacket would look sweet with those shades you made, cant wait to see the end result
@ncpolice555 they may be sold officially but if u take a look closely, there are quite a number of differences in the 1 their selling as compared with the game such the buttons and the designs of the shoulders pads
Thanks for your interest! To answer your question, I used double-sided tape and other sticky stuff to stick them to my skin just so I could look at them in the mirror and take pictures. When I wear the full costume I will use Spirit-gum, which is what they use in theatre to stick fake beards on, etc.
I wish I could tell you what Con I will debut the costume at, but I don't know yet.

you should totally make and sell these, you'd probably make alot of money if you subtract - the price of the materials and the time to make them

Hey there, awesome job on the sunglasses. I'm curious and might actually try to pull off cosplayin Adam as well and I have a question I'd like to ask:
1.) On cosplay.com, on the pics you took, how did you get the shades to stay on your head?
I'll be sure to follow you on here and cosplay.com
Out of curiosity, what convention are you planning on debuting this?
