I had a good laugh reading your comment. A ghillie suit containing the actual vegitation in the surrounding area is impossible to spot when you are standing right there. This video would make me look invisible wearing an orange jumpsuit.

some ghillie suits are easy to find when your looking but when your out and walkning your not thinking about it!!

@MrJohanw1 Yes, in most real cases, you wouldn't even know the marksman was there, and so it makes it more difficult on these types of videos - but then also we didn't really spend too much time on blending the ghillie suit.

Solid spots, and use of vegitation. But realisticly being in the center of a clearing there's no way of getting away without being spotted.

@Marine1996Us Thanks - yes, we do know that but we decided to do this in the centre of a clearing just to show how effective a ghillie suit can be and how movement almost immediately gives your position away.

@Serouisly Firstly, I'm really surprised you found all of them before they stood up. Secondly, you cannot state my fieldcraft experience based on the fact that you do not know who I am and that this is an old video recorded with a bad camera. Thirdly, we're not 'kids' but for all those young teenagers out there doing this sort of thing - well done for being active and going outdoors. And your attitude needs to change as you state your assumptions without any evidence. Thanks for watching anyway!

@jackdavidharris well saying that I found every single one is an exaggeration. But here are some tips that I saw you need to work on: 1) Very easy to find, dont outline a black background (shadows) and be higher than the grass. Your suit is too bushy for this situation

2) Again the light effects of the sun giving shadow point out your suit because it doesnt have an equal contrast balance with all the grass. You should be in the shadows to the left

3) Grass color doesnt match with environment

I appreciate that you give them some shitty advice that really doesn't have to do with anything (how the F*** did you end up training snipers). You can realise the kids are laying face down and there is still 4-5 inches sticking up. his suit was made incorrectly.

@Serouisly There is no way you saw him before he stood up, the grass is about a foot tall. Also, the ghillie suit can be found if you look at lumps in the grass. Which is hard because its a foot tall.
