which is exactly why this version is disrespecting dylan's; they took an eleven minute song and made into a simplified radio friendly version, because most kids today stopped developing an attention span at age three. I'm all for power chords and simple solos, i mean when it's appropriate.

ever think of the people who listened to this version and found out it was a cover of a bob dylan song and then went on to listen to bob dylan and go 'hey this aint bad, il listen to more'. my chem made this song there own as well as that they have introduced bob dylan to alot of people too. so its not the major 'dylan blasphemy' that every my chem cover on youtube is facing. like every video practically :D

because you dont listen to the song. you listen to the image. you listen to the tone of the gutiar or the kick of the snare. you dont hear the message the song conveys. you dont feel the emotion connected with the song. if you did, then you would understand why so many people were outraged when MCR covered Bob Dylan. my advice to you is to grow a brainstem, listen to the origional version and hear the message that Dylan is trying to convey. then tell me which cover you hate.

tone: a little past 12 oclock

distortion: 12 oclock

level set it to the same as you amp (im using a fender champ 600)

its not an exact sound but i like it.
