Wow....apparently Chicago announcers get butthurt FAR too easily. Weber didn't leave his feet to deliver the hit. The force of the hit took both players skates out. The hit was shoulder-to-shoulder.....do these guys actually WATCH hockey? Sharp should know better than to have his head down, but neither did Toews or Havlat when they got crushed by Mitchell and Kronwall, respectively.

Maybe Quenneville teaches it in practice.

If you want to get technical, repeatedly pause it until at some point between the 35 and 36 second marks you can clearly see Weaver's left shoulder connecting with Sharp's right shoulder/chest as both of Weaver's skates remain in contact with the ice.

@vkgplyr89 not sure what a "dombass" is exactly, but I guess you could use that to describe the people who don't realize that Weaver left his feet because of the collision, and not before. You need to find the right frame to see it, but around 1:04 or 1:05, Weaver is about to crush Sharp and his feet are on the ice. And by "about" I mean within an inch or two and not a few feet away.

At both the 1:05 and 1:18 marks you can see that the collision is about a half an inch or so away from happening yet both feet leave the ice. There are certain properties of physics and motion transfer that sometimes force both players to leave their feet (i.e. on an equal collision (force left = force right), the only way to go is up). Doesn't happen all the time, but you only jumped if you're feet are off the ice before the collision
