@BBarNavi It's not necessarily Engrish though. There's a difference between mistranslation and mispronunciation which is what Engrish is commonly referred to as. Also, for all we know, some parts could have been fitted to suit with the rhythm of the song better. It happens all the time in American English pop music.

Aww... I always did wonder what the translation was, I had a feeling I had it right from the few english lines. Rin get the bear as a pressie to keep the nightmares away. afterwards she meets a guy and falls for him, so pretends the bear is the guy. When things fall apart with the guy in her anger she takes it out on the bear then suddenly releases without the bear the nightmares return and is lonely without him. So She repairs the bear by herself. Is a pretty simple story to understand.
