RTCW and CS can't even be compared but RTCW was by far more team-work orientated. One person could do it all in CS where as one pro player didn't make any difference in RTCW. It required everyone to be on there game. Jesus NightFaLL man I remember playing against you in CoD 1 back in CAL in like 2002...you were a beast. It's great to see what you've done with yourself. I gave up video games pretty much too since nothing will vill the void that CS/CoD/RTCW left when people eventually moved on.

He was a good CoD player but highly over rated. It's funny no one talked about NightFaLL in RtCW back in the golden age of gaming when real pros played. He was removed from 3 invite teams due to how bad he was.

I wrecked his whole team on depot during his CoD career in Pandemic and he denied me joining Pandemic because of how bad we trash talked him in RtCW.

Nightfall was a great CoD player. he was the ingame leader for CoD and they arent always the best fraggers but he was good.

lol CS in general has a competitive fanbase that CoD players could only DREAM of having. its cause CS takes YEARS to get good at as CoD takes months so CoD gets old fast. theres no glitches in the game. only physics bugs like there are in CoD.

who cares about RtCW? CAL was the big cheese back then. HE WON 3 CPLs on LAN in 2 different games.

NightFall was an above average player. That's pretty much where it ends. CS has a larger base because the game is easy and requires a P1 in order to run it. Not because it's better. No glitches? Duck jumping, deagle awping, unscoped sniping. The game is seriously easy and it takes months (like every other game) to master not years. Who cares about RtCW? I'd say the few million who played it during its prime. Who said anything about CAL anyway? RtCW = Quakecon which is superior to the CPL.

the only hard thing about CoD is map details which give you more places to hide. other than that, if you can click a mouse button, and move your mouse and 1/8 of an inch side down and side to side to keep the sights on the target, you are a CoD master. CS strats>CoD strats. you want to play a dynamic boring game where you are guarunteed a gun in hand every round and the strats revolve around a single smoke throw at the start of a round and whoever has the best hiding spot? play CoD. that is all.

On another note, there were several teams that tried to switch from CS to RtCW; 3D was one of them. After not winning CAL Main they dropped and continued CS. If you never played RtCW you really can't comment. The level of team play, aim, and strat are far superior then any other team based game to date and anyone who's played it can agree. You can't spray and pray with controlled recoil in that game you actually had to aim for the dome.

Anyway, you're a fan boy so blindness is understandable.

The only reason CPL isnt around is because the CGS came about you moron. and also due to the fact that the CPL owner sold it to some arabs and he had a rep for not paying out money which made people not care to play in the CPL or play CAL. it had nothing to do with the games.

Since I can't edit my comment I assume you were talking about my invite statement (CAL wise.) RtCW was in CAL for many years. It was also at Quakecon for 3-4. I think you need to do some more research before you debate about something you are ignorant about. If you're not familiar with Quakecon it's exactly like the CPL except they use games that require skill, which is why it still exists while the CPL does not. CPL was a charity to bad gamers (after it dropped Quake, UT, and Painkiller.)

RtCW died out because the teams that dropped/branched from CS to RtCW all FAILED. They could not compete in a game where you had to aim. Standing still looking down a hallway got you wrecked.

There is almost no difference between CoD4 and CS. The gameplay is the same. Plant a bomb and defend it or defend the site.both games require you to spray. RtCW required pro teamwork and facials.
