Um, no. The r61's shit. My hard drive has 68 gigs of space, and I had 40 gigs max on it, but it kept telling me it's full. So I moved to a SATA external hard drive - which Lenovo recommended. My hard drive proceeded to break, and now I've lost 3 years' worth of photos, films and documents. Not to mention the battery life drops from 100% to 5% in under 2 minutes when unplugged - sometimes does this after it's been on sleep whilst plugged to the wall. Grrr. I hate it.

T61 is more versatile but R61 is smaller. I don't think R61 has a DVD drive. It's all good.

Also the R series has a DVD drive. In fact a Blu-Ray player is available on the R-series but not on the T-series. Epic Fail

Does the hardrive on here wear out. My friend had one and its hardrive busted like a week after he got it. why was that?
