  • what i would do to learn 1:47 to2:20 :(

  • fuck yes

  • on which album is this song?

  • @Exclaw926 This track is from the album "The Elephant Man's Alarm clock". :)

  • @kibijit no? isnt it from inbred mountain?

  • @sovietguitarman Nope. Track 2 on Elephant Man's Alarm Clock.

  • the rest of the band should adopt buckets. his leads are all rural, heard-it-before, diatonic, stepwise child's play. Sure he's great at pulling off those runs (and really fast ) but who isn't these days? Nothing new under the sun, 'cept a bucket.

  • @deckameter How so? Every song I listen to, it's different...

  • Didn't KFC sue him?

    What a head.

  • Didn't KFC sue him?

  • anyone know how he gets his sound? what amp/effects??

  • Who ever said Buckethead isn't god is Satan .

  • i like buckethead music

    ^^

  • holy freaking crap man, what the fudge was that at 4:42?

  • he didnt do the killswitch solo! thats my favorite part! :[

  • he never plays the same song twice...

  • How did he get his fingers so skinny and long!? Is that just genetics? Because my fingers are rather fat and I figure this puts me at a huge disadvantaged for speed/accuracy.

  • @viktortsoi2 Actually it doesn't, just look at Zakk Wylde and Andy McKee... They have fat finger and they can do whatever the fuck they want... Same stuff with shawn lane....

  • @viktortsoi2 Yngwie's fingers are probably fatter than yours. Practice and determination, my friend. Don't give up! :D

  • @viktortsoi2 Remember to play with the tips of ur fingers, not the pads. Curve ur fingers and keep ur thumb directly behind the neck. That should help

  • @viktortsoi2 It is just the luck of the draw old chap -a form of natural selection. One of the reasons the great guitarists are great is because they have all the numerous essential attributes which will include fingers to die for. For the remainder global greatness may be out of reach but it doesn't mean anyone lacking ideal fingers can't be an excellent musician. Far better to have overly fat long fingers than thin short ones by the way. Shortness is the real limiter as it reduces reach.

  • @viktortsoi2 plus do drugs!! they help keep everything skinny

  • @viktortsoi2 hes naturally like that, hes kinda like a super human in a way, hes really tall and his hands are longer then a normal persons, his guitar necks are longer then a normal guitar because of his size indifference, they just look normal because he fits it well, i just think he was born to do this shit, buckethead is just the music messiah, but it is true that even with fatter fingers you can still play well, just stay true to what you do and keep the determination as viktortsoi2 said

  • some say he doesnt move alote on stage....he doesnt need to..some guitar players have to jump like little monkeys to make the crowd feel the music..buckethead doesnt...he just needs to play...

  • studio version is a lot better.

  • Can some rich person donate a ton of money to Buckethead's cause? Or maybe an audio engineer should work for him. He could use a fancier live set-up.

  • luv it!!! another one...soooo coool!

  • no tenia ganas de tocar ese dia!!!!!.....

  • wtf am I the only one that thinks the album sound is way better? It just sounds wrong to me. Not enough smash and bang.

  • @ShiftingStampy u know? I think I've convinced myself that are 2 different pieces, wonderful pieces by the way

  • Comment removed

  • @BzBlade That's not what I'm talking about. At all. I'm talking about the SOUND. Way too little gain he's got on his amp in the intro, for example. It has absolutely nothing to do with his playing. GENIUS.

  • prolly has the firmest handshake ever

  • this song really just hit the spot ahhhhh :P

  • his playing is soo smooth he makes it look easy but its not

  • bassist is totally rocking because hes with buckethead

  • Lol

    Reado your description Kibijit.

Buckethead Playing Final Wars Live In Las Vagas

    LAS VAGAS?

    Where`s that located? xDD

  • all they needed is the second guitar for it to be even more epic

  • he kinda failed this compared to the studio version... but he made it a new song basically, there-for AWESOME!

  • Comment removed

  • I thought it was Bb standard. I'm probably wrong, though. Anyways, this is a great performance of final wars. Thanks for posting.

  • this guy is the don

  • Buckethead is truly a god of shred, and just about everything else.

  • that last part reminded me of shawn lane

  • @speaker3600 Buckethead was very heavily inspired by Lane's playing style, but you probably knew that :3

  • @kibijit yeah, buckethead and shawn are my favorite guitarists :P

  • @kibijit everybody should listen to shawn lane!

  • 4:41 :c perfect final shred :D

  • Buckethead=GODLIKE

  • needs a backing guitarist

  • he is always tuned e flat live and e in the studio

  • i played it in drop c work fine sounded just like this.

  • i played it in drop c work fine sounded just like this.

  • hes using a 7string for the intro, and all the strings are tuned flat, so its low to high Eb,Bb,Gb,Db,Ab,Eb,Bb :)

  • Bucket should just give it up and hire a rhythm guitarist, because god, his songs blow without one.

  • was this at the italian american social club?

  • either a or c. c worked for me

  • Are all of his songs in dropped tunings? Does he ever play in standard tuning? Since he seems to only use this same 6-string vice a 7-string.

  • @briluster1979 he plays in a LOT of tunings. some of his songs are in standard. in a pretty heavy mood right now so i cant think of any

  • o_O isn't he playing the backing track?? with the solos of course??

  • how do you know its A?

  • @lawlzInc I have a good ear for tuning. And I also tried to tab it once. Failed miserably apart from the first bit. Sounded better in A than it did in Eb/D#/Half down

  • @kibijit wait do u mean standard A or drop A?

  • @lawlzInc A standard.

  • @kibijit Wouldn't that require an intonation adjustment? Surely he didn't play every song in this set with A tuning?

  • @kibijit A standard? That's a low freakin tuning. I play the song in standard e tuning. I'd just get a seven string and tune the strings down to A standard.

  • @kibijit e flat dude

  • @Madnessin1987 It's in A, soon as I get a camera, i'll post a video with the intro in each respective tuning.

  • Weird Al Yankovic' alter ego...?

  • Why are slideshows of this song getting more views. This is amazing :O

  • the same thing wit jimi hendrix he never played the same song twice

  • pretty damn GOOOOOD

  • well done dude, ur the best :)

  • the sexiest guitar ever created in my opinion.....

  • @kergio17 what he does with it is awsome too

  • @kergio17

I prefer the Strat personally, but that IS a lovely guitar he plays.

  • yeah!

  • is there an actual song,,,,or what???

  • @onlyjoetee

    why yes there is.

  • @onlyjoetee well i have the cd with this song on it, Its amazing, It allows me to appreciate the live version just as much. IT's a very complex song.

  • are you retarded? hes amazing and how is this not a song?

  • @onlyjoetee I think you are confused on what exactly the concept of a "song " really is. Were you thinking something along the lines of Nickelback?

  • incredibly low tuning

    :/

my guitar don't fit in this fuckin tuning.

  • this is just a half step down from standard...

  • yeah!

  • I didn't think the tuning was that low. I thought maybe D#.

  • Nah, it's tuned way down to A. Incredibly low tuning :P

  • He plays it live in half step down Eb Ab Db Gb Eb, but on the album it's tuned to A =)

  • dif song dun be like make me tink dat sumtime duh buckethead be make duh songz good :}

  • this is a little off topic but does he ever play nottingham lace with the backing band?

  • I think he does on occasion, but apparently he's really difficult to play with, something to do with his temper.

  • whered you hear that?

  • I heard he's autistic, but that could be hearsay for all I know.

  • bullshit.

hard to belive that this guy may have bad temper.

  • @kibijit First off his not autistic.Axl Rose as well as many many others have said hes just a normal guy.and where did you get this temper shit from?

  • man, that's some nice footage...

  • the riff at 1:20 is what will be played when i enter heaven.....:)

  • no offense, that riff sounds a way better if you're entering, while the devil himself plays the bass for this song on a bass that's burning itself... that would kick ass

  • no offense taken..........its hard to be offended while listening to a guitarist of such epic ability.............one word to describe the scenario you mentioned, and BUCKETHEADS playing...........BESTIAL.....:)
