Man if yamaha and honda came out with a 1300cc sportbike,they'd crush this with no problem.Suzuki really would be blown off the market.Already no match for the awesome ninja.This is just a little simple bike.You could be a beginner and ride the busa like nothing.Suzuki more like a woman's bike.Man the new 1000 fireblade is killing this.

I have around 7000 miles in my busa 2008 mostly riding twisties...and absolutly agree this is not for a begginer. I ride with R1´s, R6´s, Fireblades and GSXR 600 and 1000´s...and can say I ride as hard as any and in the straight I can make a joke of any other. Best bike I had and I had a wide spectrum.

I am on my third week on this bike and I must say that it isn't much of a leap ahead. Like the 99, ZX-12 and ZX-14, the press builds you up, only to have the manufacturer let you down. It still has a beautiful nose, but the bulbous body I could do without. What were they thinking when they designed the tail? Such "retro" designs get old fast! I will have the tail section replaced as soon as I can find a source. I have also been annoyed with the trend toward relatively slower bikes (0-60 mph).

I like the busa just cause its  BIG in size, I wouldnt care if they used a busa frame, with a 250 or a 600cc motor. I love sport bikes its just hard to fold up on them when your 6ft5 254, thats why I like the busa

I've went to suzuki dealer ship.We talked about the busa.I kept my mouth shut.He said,its not what people try to make it out to be.He also said he's a fan of suzuki but,the busa is nothing the way people brag about it.

I never really cared about the busa.Its over rated for one.And the 99 busa was way better than this.My 12 out runs both the 99 and this one.Put 2 pro's on a bike.One on this and one on a 9,10,11,12 or that 14.Busa gets beat.Badly.People needs to read also.Even in the magazine,it says no match for the 14.Thats sad cause it was suppose to be all about the busa.14 wasnt even in the articl yet.

Sprite12321, The 2008 Hayabusa and 2008 ZX14 are nearly equal, with the Busa edging the 14 with split numbers so low it doesn't matter. It's always down to the rider anyway. I've had my Busa on Road America, as well as many, MANY other race tracks, and in 5 years of Track Days, I have yet to see ONE large displacement Kawasaki on the track. Not one. I've seen more than 10 other Busa's at the tracks - not drag STRIPS, RACE TRACKS. Why is that?
