Amazing what 3 yrs can do. Takes a very talented Gymnast to pull that off, you would have never thought she would be going to the games from the way this routine was..
Yeah, she really did improve a great amount, just from late 1993 to mid 1994, even. In a fluff piece, they talked about her being a junior in 1993 (training at Desert Devils) and doing badly at Nationals that year. She said she didn't even want her parents to come watch her. It's really incredible how much better she did the next year when she moved up to the senior level. To go from not being a national team member as a junior to making the world team the next year is amazing!
