most people have msar on their skin as a normal bacteria but when you cut yourself and dont disinfect it goes right in your skin and then in your blood.....and its really hard to get ride of
not to bring up old news but vancomycin is the biggest baddest antibiotic out there, so im hoping that they are giving you the length of treatment needed for the infection. You would not like to get VRSA, i'm on round 3 of my mrsa infection, i've turned to natural remedies to help though.
yeah VRSA would deffinately blow but there is a new antibiodic called Zyvox which is what i have had to turn to now that i have begun to react to Vanc
yes but like many things like this just because it hasn't come back doesn't mean it's cured. Sometimes they lay dormant within body then suddenly appear
Saying there's a "cure" is kind of misleading. My husband has it and gets one every 6 months or so and had to do the whole treatment over and over again. I had it but did the treatment once and have never had it again, so...??
Take supplements of OIL of OREGANO, allimax (ALLICIN), GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT, COLLIDIAL SILVER. Eat fruits with vit-C, less wheat, no pig. Bathe with HIBICLEANS and MANUKA SOAP, head and shoulders shampoo. forget body wash! Clean wounds/pimples with vinegar or hydrogen peroxide. clean everything (cell, doorknobs, steering wheel) with vinegar and/or bleach or oil of oregano spray. WASH YOUR LAUNDRY IN HOT WATER. DONT USE TOWELS MORE THAN ONCE OR TWICE. THIS IS NO F***ING JOKE, THIS IS WAR!
wow how cool :) i wondered im studying biomedical science at university at the moment just going into year 3, covered this in last weeks lectures you see :)
First off, there is no "cure". And there are other more effective ways of treating it than antibiotics (which created it in the first place), including ALLICIN, and OIL OF OREGANO
Listen jackass, I'm no Doctor. Although, I do have a genius IQ. But, there are doctors out there, specifically at University of Florida, who've studied the effects of oil of oregano on MRSA and found that it kills it on contact. Yes, oil of oregano has antimicrobial properties, so maybe you should learn before you make an ASS OF YOURSELF.
And I'm curious to know of this "cure" you have, because I've been told by 6 doctors and numerous nurses that once infected, you become a carrier for life, and there is no cure, just ways of treating it and preventing infections.
hahahahaha! ..........perhaps. In the mean time. suck a dick bitch. And waht was that cure of yours again that you still havn't mentioned? Oh, maybe you realized you were full of shit and don't know what the fuck you're talking about, so you turned the discussion into a personal attack instead of trying to actually help the poor clueless souls who have nothing to go on in treating their infections except the usual, more antibiotics. Seriously, please go educate yourself and help people.
@marti1010 there is no cure i have two family members with it, there is a treatment and it can go into remission but it can come back and attack when the body is vulnerable
MSRA is resistant to almost every drug and antibiotic, and have you seen how clean hospital are? I ask you to rub a wet papertowel on the chairs and counters of your local clinic, then you can show the staff and demand they clean everyday instead of once a week. I'd rather take my chances at my home in solitude.
my father is still recovering from community aquired MRSA which means he didnt catch it from being in hospital....hes currently in hospital and has spent 3 months there recovering from a deep thigh absess and will need plastic surgery to close the wound ..
I popped one on my chest once and nothing came out...IT POPPED INSIDE! IT WAS SO GROSS THINKING ABOUT IT. but my immune system must be working fine cuz i'm here.
Hey, way to not use GLOVES. And you people wonder how this shit gets spread around so easily.... It's because people squeeze their shit, and then touch everything with their infected ass hands. Good god, wash your shit and use some fucking latex gloves, or just put condoms on your fingers.
if that is mrsa (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureous) then its kinda bad. i have a lot of paitients (not from where i work) who have caught it and died. mrsa is a huge problem in hospitals and is making people really sick or dead! people dont necessarily catch it from having an unclean life.
I had one on my inner thigh that was oozing with black pus... I popped it like 4 times before it went away for good... scared the living crap right out of me.. the stench was UNREAL!!!!!

Why are there so many white folks popping infected boils on YouTube? Do you realize how nasty and sick this is? You treat it like it's an American sport! EW!

MRSA your MORONs is methacillin (sp) reisistant staphalococci aeurus(SP) EVERYONE has the staph bacteria on your skin its the RESISTANT kind that is a bitch to beat. go look it up... i know i work in the medical feild. methacillian(SP) is a antibiotic thats EXTREMLY strong...why yes i AM a know it all
granted my spelling may not be great but go look up the actual information...and if you BOTHERED to look after words i wasnt sure of there (SP) after it which means i am not sure how to spell it so i gave it my best shot. which is better than calling a STAPH infection MRSA... and since YOU seem to be the know it all why didnt you not be a cocky witch and just say oh hey the correct spelling is this... huh? nooo had to be a witch...
MRSA is Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus you idiot. Staphylococcus = staph. MRSA is staph in an agressive form that needs not only stronger antibiotics but different antibiotics than your usual staph. I laughed because a know it all usually knows something and your information is dead wrong. Medical Professional? Im guessing a cna (butt wiper) or something along those lines.
granted again my spelling was bad but isnt that what i basically said? u cant call EVERY staph infection MRSA. I again KNEW what i was trying to spell just didnt spell it right. MRSA is a FORM of staph thats contagious. if u had MRSA u wouldnt be at home gigling w/ ur friends having friends bust the boil for u cuz if ur friends DID do it for u without any kind of protection they would also end up with MRSA esp if they had an open cut on their skin.
a cna is a person who is responsible for a lot of hard work caring for people. work that you wouldn't or couldn't do, you silly little catty child. and no I am not a CNA.
According to a study done by texas tech...mrsa can be healed very fast...it was put out by alkavitahealth.
mrsa is a bacteria that we all have, this strain we all have, and it is passed from person to person, not by toching anything or getting a scratch. that scratch has then to come into contact with a person that has this on their body, sweat will work well also to infect someone. Showers are good, but they do not kill the virus.
It is a bacteria, and, yes it DOES kill it, like getting dirty, it comes back, but it does kill it and you have to kill it to stop the infection. We have something on hand to clean any break in the skin.
mrsa is a disease where when u dont treat a cut and it gets infected and swollen and if not taken care of u might need a chunk taken out of ur skin or u can die also.
This bug is not as rampant as the neocons would have us to believe.
The "SuperBug" rhetoric, which the main-stream media is ramming down our throats, faster then we can pick up a cup of coffee, is nothing more then a government scare tactic to divert attention aware from its war campaign in Iraq, and it just may be the smoke and mirrors needed for invading Iran.
You mean say that you can't think of any better video to post on youtube then this scare campaign propaganda?!!
Wow, even for wacky conspiracy theories, this one is bad. It would have been so much more intriguing if you'd said that Bush, AKA Bin Laden, used 9/11 to secretly release the "Superbug". Which will incubate and manifest in whiter skin.
MRSA in the blood is deadly. You should be wearing gloves and you know that this is resistant to antibiotics -- universal precautions at all times. Could lose a limb or a life, nothing to mess with. PEOPLE DIE from this every day,
yes i had MRSA and had to have it cut out three times. It was on my stomach and was nothing to play around with. Took me months and months to get it under control. Never ever do this. Always seek a doctors care if you ever have something like that come up. Always seek doctors care. IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE....
are you sure it's mrsa or is it just good ol' normal staph aureus? and yea, please wash your hands and don't high five buddies. mrsa isn't always lifelong...but you're right, it's pretty damn hard to get rid of, especially if you live with a lot of people who have it
this is super contageous when the infection is active and there is a good chance the infected person will harbor the bacteria in their nasal passages forever and will be prone to more infections
yes, what they heck are you doing squeezing that yourself? It is SO easy to spread that to other parts of your body and to other people and one you have it, you are a carrier for life.
MRSA is something deadly serious, you are very stupid for handling this without gloves or any precautions. By now you probably have a hole in your leg.
MRSA stands for methylcillin [sp] resistant staphylococcus aureus - - -Basically an infection that is resistant to most antibiotics... VERY difficult to "get rid of"... And this moron should not be playing with the fluid because it is HIGHLY contagious! ! ! NASTY!
Nasty thing about MRSA is that you can't cure it. In another decade or two this poor dude will die of it... long, slow, at the end painful ride downhill. :o(
You have to have 3 negative MRSA tests in a e month span not to be on contact precautions. Even then you will most likey be colinized with MRSA which means that at any time the infection can come back.

Nasty thing about MRSA is that you can't cure it. In another decade or two this poor dude will die of it... long, slow, at the end painful ride downhill. :o(

untrue. once antibiotics have cleared it out it's gone for good.

not true Paula, MRSA cannot always be cured. It can colonize (share DNA with bacteria in the body) and most of the time it does.

RegalMommy, that's not what my GP and Infectious Disease doctor and Surgeons have told me. Where do you get your info from?
paulawork 4 years ago
You have to have 3 negative MRSA tests in a e month span not to be on contact precautions. Even then you will most likey be colinized with MRSA which means that at any time the infection can come back.
