Number two there was a second season as confirmed by producer Dean Barnes. Unfortunatley due to the low demand and the Kassanoff pictures constantly in a battle with Warner bro. the second season never materialized. Although it did get as far as the writing stage, which would have seen Sub Zero return to help free Kung Lao and his friends, which they then in turn save Raiden, return him to Earthrealm where he gains his powers back and drives the forces of Shao Khan back to Outworld.
2 facts about this show. Actor Jeff Meek played the role of Raiden and Shao Khan. This is one of the best episodes where the editors did a good job of integrating the shots together of both characters played by the same actor.
Wonder what´s the difference in power from shao khan and a shadow priest, if they fought, shao kahn probably has some ace in the hole to control such powerful assasins.
damn i cant believe this series got cancelled, this series was way better than the 2 mortal kombat movies! damn i remember as a kid i would stay awake til 2 in the morning waiting for them to show the new episodes on tv, they should have really made a season 2, this series had everything hot ass girls, awesome fight scenes, good characters, and actors damn, i dont understand why they would cancel this

(If the real ending had it to where everyone came back and Shao Khan returned to Outworld and couldn't interfere with Earth again until the next tournament, I'd understand then, so if that is really how it ends, than disregard this post.)
@1337child7 2 Things about this TV series, first one being that this ending was meant to have all been a dream/vision that Kung Lao had and would open up the second series where he inevitably died at Goro's hands at the end of the second series, the second thing is that this version of MK is considered non-canon anyways so pretty much most (or all) of what happens in the series isn't lined up with the game's plotline anyways.
@sonicmark87 Oh, thx, that REALLY clears things up and now it makes PERFECT sense why they did it this way. I had no idea as I guess I didn't really know much about the TV series. Only the games up to Armageddon and the 2 movies, so thx again for setting me straight.
@Majvfb most likely killed eventually. kahns shadow priest probably found a way to kill scorpion like how they found a way to kill kung lao(immortal unless in MK) and sub-zero...hunted, overwhelmed, and killed like everyone else....this is just me sayin, but it most likely happened

Except the acting sometimes these tv series were very enjoyable and interesting to watch.One of my favourites.Unfortunately they didn't start the 2nd season , don't know why.Shao Kahn's acting here was the greatest ! Ninjas was cool too , the chicks was hot.The story was ok too .Too bad really , now it's too late to start the 2nd season .Damn

The scene that starts at 5:27 is the best ever in Mortal Kombat... The way Shao Khan lists all who have died is really cool and he gets very emotional when he says "a doughter"... I think it´s a great scene...

@bish578 Dude this is Kung Lao's (the one we know) ancestor Kung Lao. Who if you played enough of the games was said to have died many years ago, actually to Goro, not Shadow Priest. But He did die and that is when the shaolin monks Liu Kang and Kung Lao came in, got revenge, and kicked ass. :)
Is all of this accurate? Because Kung Lao is yet to fight Goro and lose. Plus Quan Chi, Tsang Sung, Raiden, and Kitana are all alive and well 500 years from this. So what brings them back?
@JeRkTeAm101 Well this isn't exactly what happens. You see Kung Lao's ancestor stopped a previous victory of Outworld's in MK. The Kreeya thing actually fits because Shao Kahn does find out Reptile is the traitor and destroys all of his people but keeps him as a slave to suffer. He took Shang Tsung back but didn't kill him. Quan Chi wasn't even supposed to be there at all, he can't even enter earthrealm because he was banished to Netherrealm. Kung Lao does die, but in the next tournament.
the last fight was insanely epic, as was the ending. We can rest easy knowing that it's all meant to be resolved afterwards, but the fact that we probably won't actually see it happen sucks.
Also major props to Jeff Meek who plays both Raiden and Shao Kahn, terrific actor.
@Nativeaboriginal yeah i know it was suppose to have a second season being that one of the elder gods resurrecting the characters or reversing time so that characters didn't die but we wouldn't know that don't we.
Saw these series for the first time. Strange its cheesy and some of acting are not that good, but surprisingly these are VERY ENJOYABLE. LOve these simple but interesting stories. Now I am a fan :)
Raiden is best. Also I LOVE how they made Shao Kahn in this series (Mask design and acting)
At least we can gues what will be in season 2 (wich will NEVER be done :( :( )
Characters will be ressurect, they will defeat Kreeyans, Smoke will appear, If Taja and Siro survive through the end of season 2 they will be tohether, Kung Lao will find fighters for new Mortal Kombat (maybe Siro and Taja will become a part of these fighters), Shang Tsung become old (like in MK1 game) and meets Goro. Maybe ending will be before next tornament, because in next tornament Goro kills Kung Lao.
did anyone else notice his amulet started humming when it glowed? i read they also considered having the elder gods undo all of shao kahns doing bc it went against the rules for him to attack earthrealm just like he himself said.
I read on the MK wiki that the last scene of the series shows (a) Reptile ordering his remaining forces to attack Shoa Kahn's. But I can't find that scene anywhere. anyone know?
wow they left way too many ends open. What happened to subzero? Smoke was suppose to go after him but i guess he's not that big of a character. And in the movie lui kang beats shang tsung in Mortal Kombat. But half the reason Lui Kang is there is because Kung Lao was killed by Shang Tsung. I'm confused......
@gudguy89 He is telling Raiden that by standing there having a conversation with him and wasting time, Raiden gave him time to merge Earthrealm with Outworld, which is what was happening as they were talking.
all these people lose to shadow priest & shadow priest is subordinate of kahn and of course kahn is better than him but the most pathetic thing about kahn is he lose to liu kang..what a shame...means that liu kang is better all those fighters in this series btw, i think the priest have missed someone, what happen to omegis, i didn't see him kill her & what about noob, the black ninja he betrayed kahn too be he never get killed
@gudguy89 there was a huge misconception with the noob saibot thing because noob was suppose to be the original sub-zero (killed by scorpion) as for omegis, she might've let the shadow priest kill her because is the 2 top sorcerers couldn't beat ONE of them then she sho'nuff couldn't either

I love the final shot when camera pans around the city just for a close up of the champions amulet that is still bright and gloomy. Im thinking this may indicate that there is still a chance to defeat Kahn or new chosen fighters are coming to balance forces of life. A GREAT show. PS. Thanks for uploading.
thanks for uploading every single episode of conquest!!! Used to watch it every day when I was younger untill they stopped airing it (so I never knew there was a final episode). And yeh it's cool that the bad guys win for a change ^^.

@danny312515 Quite a few, but mostly the same scene. At the beginning of episode 16: Kreeya, you will see him standing on top of a building for a few seconds, and at the end of episode 21: Stolen Lies, you will see him for about a second in Kung Lao's vision.
I know it isn't the real Goro in ep 16, but I believe that guy was what they were referring to on wiki. But the other one in ep 21 is meant to be him.
why do you people hate the way the series ended? Because I think it was cool how it ended. Think about it, how often does a tv series end with the bad guy winning and the good guys lose?
@King26J I wasn't happy with the ending because this wasn't supposed to be the ending lol, supposedly season 2 would have started with the last two episodes of season 1 being kuna lao's dream. I really wish there had been a season 2, this show really started getting good as it went on and the actors were all perfect for their roles. I love that the same guy played Raiden and Shao Kahn it wasn't obvious.

1. I thought Shao Kahn used the hammer lol
2. Shao Kanh never won so they messed up the storyline
3. If it was up to me, they should've had Raiden go to the future, get Liu Kang and have him and Kung Lao form the Shaolin Monks and fuck everyone up.

i like most of MK conquest but it does leave me with some questions... i am a fan of the games and (i could be wrong) but wasnt kung loa defeated when shang sung got prince goro's help. hense why in the story to the first 2 MK games shang and goro were concerned that kung loa's decendant lu kang was fighting
meh still good but stickin more to the storyline may have been better.
I also think they should remake this and have Kung Lao played as tony juu (guy from ong bak and the protecter) but they need to stick towards the original storyline. sometimes i get the feeling tht ed boon kinds lost control with the mortal kombat storyline he kinda just got bored and thru stuff together just to get it out the way. all the fighters could have had better costumes. and better voice over. its kinda hard to see scorp as some bad ass when he sounds like a guy who works at a bank lol
that chris casamassa, the same guy who played Scorpion in the original movie. he also played Red Dragon if you were a fan of the WMAC: Masters series.

How cool would that be?? Even though it's been almost 11 years since they've finished playing Season 1 the same actors might still be up for carrying on. They might be slightly older, but that could easily be built in the story line.... Was it really only the money side of things why they stopped making it?
I disagree @TheAtheistKnight. It was poorly written, the lines didn't reflect the time period (500 years ago), the costumes didn't fit the time period or the story, it suffered from horrible acting, and it tried way too hard to try to sell sex rather than sell the story of Mortal Kombat. I am a long-time fan of the Mortal Kombat saga, and if any other media besides video games gave it justice it would have been the first movie, and even that was poorly made.
@TheAtheistKnight (continued) It's a shame, as the story has so much potential. They should have started with a good story, then fleshed it out from there. I think, in an effort to retain fans, they tried to make it too much like the video games; and less on the story. Because of that the history of the saga was sacrificed.
It really was a fairly well written show. Much better than the 2nd film, that's for sure. I remember the series being on TV, but for whatever reason didn't take the time to watch it. It was fun watching these on YouTube. I would've liked to see more of Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but overall a good show. It's unfortunate they couldn't do a 2nd season.

Sickest show, but it didnt really make sense.
1. Kung Lao was originally killed by goro, but instead he along with kahns enemies were killed by unknown shadow priests.
2. Sub-Zero and scorpion are not seen or mentioned in this episode
3. Where the hell are the tarkatas?
4. Its funny that shang tsung, kitana and reptile get killed but they showed up for the first movie
5. Quan chi gets killed but he was rumored to come back in annihlation but his part was cut from the movie

Saw these series for the first time. Strange its cheesy and some of acting are not that good, but surprisingly these are VERY ENJOYABLE. LOve these simple but interesting stories. Now I am a fan :)
Raiden is best. Also I LOVE how they made Shao Kahn in this series (Mask design and acting)

Characters will be ressurect, they will defeat Kreeyans, Smoke will appear, If Taja and Siro survive through the end of season 2 they will be tohether, Kung Lao will find fighters for new Mortal Kombat (maybe Siro and Taja will become a part of these fighters), Shang Tsung become old (like in MK1 game) and meets Goro. Maybe ending will be before next tornament, because in next tornament Goro kills Kung Lao.

did anyone else notice his amulet started humming when it glowed? i read they also considered having the elder gods undo all of shao kahns doing bc it went against the rules for him to attack earthrealm just like he himself said.

I read on the MK wiki that the last scene of the series shows (a) Reptile ordering his remaining forces to attack Shoa Kahn's. But I can't find that scene anywhere. anyone know?

wow they left way too many ends open. What happened to subzero? Smoke was suppose to go after him but i guess he's not that big of a character. And in the movie lui kang beats shang tsung in Mortal Kombat. But half the reason Lui Kang is there is because Kung Lao was killed by Shang Tsung. I'm confused......
even then it's still a bad ass show

@gudguy89 He is telling Raiden that by standing there having a conversation with him and wasting time, Raiden gave him time to merge Earthrealm with Outworld, which is what was happening as they were talking.

all these people lose to shadow priest & shadow priest is subordinate of kahn and of course kahn is better than him but the most pathetic thing about kahn is he lose to liu kang..what a shame...means that liu kang is better all those fighters in this series btw, i think the priest have missed someone, what happen to omegis, i didn't see him kill her & what about noob, the black ninja he betrayed kahn too be he never get killed

I love the final shot when camera pans around the city just for a close up of the champions amulet that is still bright and gloomy. Im thinking this may indicate that there is still a chance to defeat Kahn or new chosen fighters are coming to balance forces of life. A GREAT show. PS. Thanks for uploading.

thanks for uploading every single episode of conquest!!! Used to watch it every day when I was younger untill they stopped airing it (so I never knew there was a final episode). And yeh it's cool that the bad guys win for a change ^^.
I hope they will remake or air it again someday tho....There is only one being greater then Shao Kahn....Onaga...And I would love to see that guy claiming power in Outland some day. T-T now I'll go and mourn Reptile. Can't wait for Devastation! thnx and cya! :D

its an amazing episode the last one
the epic fight between raiden and kahn, and kahns awesome monologue about his crushed enemies
but the series were too short for such a dramatic ending, nevertheless i think its a great series.

@danny312515 Quite a few, but mostly the same scene. At the beginning of episode 16: Kreeya, you will see him standing on top of a building for a few seconds, and at the end of episode 21: Stolen Lies, you will see him for about a second in Kung Lao's vision.

I know it isn't the real Goro in ep 16, but I believe that guy was what they were referring to on wiki. But the other one in ep 21 is meant to be him.

@King26J I wasn't happy with the ending because this wasn't supposed to be the ending lol, supposedly season 2 would have started with the last two episodes of season 1 being kuna lao's dream. I really wish there had been a season 2, this show really started getting good as it went on and the actors were all perfect for their roles. I love that the same guy played Raiden and Shao Kahn it wasn't obvious.

WHAT...THE...FUCK!!! Such a disappointment so let me just get to the last few comments...
1. I thought Shao Kahn used the hammer lol
2. Shao Kanh never won so they messed up the storyline
3. If it was up to me, they should've had Raiden go to the future, get Liu Kang and have him and Kung Lao form the Shaolin Monks and fuck everyone up.
Overall, it was a good series and I thank you mkfan786...
Now on to Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm

i like most of MK conquest but it does leave me with some questions... i am a fan of the games and (i could be wrong) but wasnt kung loa defeated when shang sung got prince goro's help. hense why in the story to the first 2 MK games shang and goro were concerned that kung loa's decendant lu kang was fighting
meh still good but stickin more to the storyline may have been better.

I also think they should remake this and have Kung Lao played as tony juu (guy from ong bak and the protecter) but they need to stick towards the original storyline. sometimes i get the feeling tht ed boon kinds lost control with the mortal kombat storyline he kinda just got bored and thru stuff together just to get it out the way. all the fighters could have had better costumes. and better voice over. its kinda hard to see scorp as some bad ass when he sounds like a guy who works at a bank lol

How cool would that be?? Even though it's been almost 11 years since they've finished playing Season 1 the same actors might still be up for carrying on. They might be slightly older, but that could easily be built in the story line.... Was it really only the money side of things why they stopped making it?

Great series. I didn't even know this show existed, I found it by accident on youtube.
Acting was not spectacular overall, but fantastic action and a great storyline kept my interest throughout the series.
A real shame another season wasn't made.

I watched some of this as a kid and this is my second time rewatching all of it on YT.
This really should have been expanded on, it had what the films lacked. You care more about the characters.

I disagree @TheAtheistKnight. It was poorly written, the lines didn't reflect the time period (500 years ago), the costumes didn't fit the time period or the story, it suffered from horrible acting, and it tried way too hard to try to sell sex rather than sell the story of Mortal Kombat. I am a long-time fan of the Mortal Kombat saga, and if any other media besides video games gave it justice it would have been the first movie, and even that was poorly made.

I think, in an effort to retain fans, they tried to make it too much like the video games; and less on the story. Because of that the history of the saga was sacrificed.

It really was a fairly well written show. Much better than the 2nd film, that's for sure. I remember the series being on TV, but for whatever reason didn't take the time to watch it. It was fun watching these on YouTube. I would've liked to see more of Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but overall a good show. It's unfortunate they couldn't do a 2nd season.
