To quote one of the great modern bullfighters, Conchita Cintron:
"Within its small circle one finds life, death, ambition, despair, success, failure, faith, desperation, valor, cowardliness, generosity, and meanness- all condensed into the actions of a single afternoon or even a single moment."
There is nothing cowardly about bullfights. More often than not, those who see it as such are people who do not understand the great amount of respect the people who work with these amazing animals.
i love animals but bullfights althoguh not completely evenly matched are awesome because the matador can get his ass whupped pretty bad too, and if he gets kiled the bull gets cheered like a hero too so fuck yeah for violence
I am from US, and absolutely love the bull fights. Although this bull does not seem so spirited as I would like, I can respect the beauty in this show.
fuck the brains who call this a show, this is torture, this is the lowest of humanity.. i hope this matador will die on the horns of a bull. yet you would call that an honorable death, you are worse than animals
people developed traditions to drown people alive for witchcraft in middle ages, people developed traditions to torture animals to death. I find it barely necessary to respect these kind of traditions and these kind of creatures who call themselves human beings.
Well I would think that if we were to find a person who was using some form of magic, aka a witch, then the proper thing to do would be to execute this person, whether by burning or drowning or whatever.
You can't have witches running around turning people into frogs, eh?
well, this is what i was talking about. those people exactly shared your ideas on executing people in accusation of witchcraft, but whether this person was really casting spells was nothing but just a vague interpretation. moreover, accusing someone of something supernatural requires the knowledge to know what it really means. You cannot judge someone and sentence them to death because of something that you have no reliable knowledge.
The point is, you have to be some sort of "witch" to rightfully understand and judge the intention of suspects' actions. But all these are just as a response to your meaningless comment, the big picture is that there is basically no difference between people (people like you) who sentenced people just out of pure speculation and people who torture animals to death. This is both the lowest of humanity.
!!!!!VIVA AGUASCALIENTES!!!!!
Cattle industry is way more cruel. Being locked in a cage barely your size for life, then being sent caged for hundreds of miles to the slaughterhouse, and then some. Here they are treated with far more respect. They live free. At the plaza, bulls never run, and they get a chance to get even: see Death of Paquirri on youtube
IMO bravery is a selfless act intended to help oneself or another...the dictionary describes bravery as 1)the quantity or state of being brave...2)fine clothes...3)showy display...is this a man dressed in fine clothes preforming a barbaric showy display of courage or stupidity...definitely animal cruelty
