I work in a sticker factory,we do it completely different.it's more people doing the work than relying on machines to sense where to cut and what colors to put on at what time.

man i remeber in the 80's i was a kid and i was fasinated with the stickers at school , and they were not cheap, now i wonder if todays kids like stickers or they just dont give a fuck cuz they are too busy on Facebook.

How do they make it so that when the red paint is placed on.. it is dry enough for another sheet of paint?

@NinkaPanda I think they use ultra-violet lamps to dry the ink quickly. Either that, or they do one color at a time, wait for it to dry and then roll on another color.

@librarychair - The plates usually last about 8 or 9 hundred thousand impressions. But that number can go down drastically if the press operator doesn't know how to take care of them.
