  • PUUUUUUULLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!

  • thandie newton stole the show in this movie magic performance

  • the day my father passed away

why..i mustve played this song about 60 times...

this song knew what i was going through

    it spoke to me

  • Great song from a REMARKABLE film!

  • great movie wao we the human ,need more love ,around the worllllldddddddddddddddddddddd

  • my brother has just liked this on facebook. i think i might disown him.

  • Terrific film, I spent 2 months in LA with a woman I loved, still love, we didn't make it, but LA still stands in the shadow of the mountains, doing what it does. Terrific film, tremendous performance from Matt Dillion. Miss you E, always, Your G.

  • great film! just finsihed it.... very touching and sad well directed......this song one o the best ive ever heard....felt really sorry 4 terrence howards sandras bullocks and esp don chealde charachters....powerful movie

  • I think this was probably the most "human" movie I ever saw. Aside from just a movie about diversity, it was about everything. It showed average people in their greatest and darkest moments. There were no heroes or villans per se, just ordinary people... living.

It's hard for me to explain exactly, maybe because this movie conveyed ideas we all have that go beyond words. Like when you look up at the stars, and you don't know what it is you're hoping to see, but still you feel alright.

  • Seen this a dozen times but know that I will never get tired of it--CLASSIC!

  • Why this song didn't get an Oscar I'll never know. The movie won because there was a glimpse of reality at the Oscars. They caught hell for it afterwards, of course. Real life is too much to handle in the world of fantasy, no matter that they tell us otherwise. Lovely song that will live inside my bones forever, no matter what.

  • @shaktidevi108 very well said

  • This is the most beautiful film I've seen; it touched me on so many levels. I couldn't believe what I was watching, and when I got to the end and this song came on, well, it all made sense. Everyone, even those without prejudice, should see this film...

  • @Noban1337

Your the weirdo for getting all nerd rage

& how could you say that i could imagine you presume to think

your life worse than others rofl

    grow up kid

  • I love officer Ryan in this movie!!!

  • @Noban1337

Maybe not yet @ this time in your life but

    you will one day

as life is never 100% perfect happy & roses all the time ;)

life experience will teach you that

  • @Noban1337 Liar

  • I love it when Cameron tells his wife 'I love you' and she starts crying cause she is so happy to hear it. This song completes the movie.

  • I never heard that at the end before....If you want to be given everything, give everything up. Goosebumps!!

  • beautiful, makes me cry.... i had another melody creeping my head and mixing with it, now that i think of it, it reminds me also of fake plastic trees by radiohead..

  • This video has a fantastic edition.I congratulate the person who editet it and used the beautiful song of Bird York "In the deep"

  • If you want everything, give everything up love it

  • I saw this film march 04 Saturday Night, 8 days before my birth day, Very touching film , i liked the fact that there was Don Cheadle : det graham the way all of them suffered , Ludacris doing some good at the end. the police saving Tahndie Newton , the little girl almost shot. This song prior to the end and then Stereophonics maybe tomorrow

The most compelling film i ever saw i collect movie tickets i had many and the one from this movie i carry on my wallet I have felt the sense of touch

  • Only the dead has seen the end of stereotypes...

  • @lori914 its not as much to do with 6 degrees of seperation.. and more to do with the racist views people hold either secretly, or not so secretly. Each story line is fueled by some sort of racism. And at the end if you notice nearly all of them has learnt some sort of lesson. Racism is the driving theme of this movie. Although they are all connected and the 6 degrees of seperation is definately a running theme. I think this movie is 10/10...

Its a shame more people cant appreciate it.

  • personally know a lot of people who don't understand this movie and never gave it a chance. This makes me pity them that they will never really be able to experience the power behind the themes and messages in this film.

I know that people may find and be turned off by cheesy, cliches in this movie but the truth is: sometimes that is exactly the way we humans act and feel. I have watched MANY MANY films and consider myself a movie buff and this movie would have to be my favourite of all time.

  • Great movie, great performances by Bullock, Fraser, Cheadle, and especially Matt Dillon and Michael Pena. I just about died when Pena thought his little girl had gotten shot, and he cried out. Man, that's powerful acting.

  • @OBAMA5708 So true. Pena is so sooo underrated. Everyone knows his face, noone knows his name...despite being a great actor!

    Amazing movie..

  • @OBAMA5708 and Terrence Howard..:))))))))

  • @OBAMA5708

That wasn't powerful acting, but scene is really awesome.

  • The truth is, you have to feel pain inorder to feel love and compassion. If theres no pain and suffering, there will be no realiztion of love in this universe.

  • Sandra Bullock's best performance. By far.

  • Comment removed

  • To say this movie is about anti-racism is only going skin deep, exactly the opposite of what it is actually about.

  • this movie to me is one of the best films EVER made. i dont think there is one cliche in it. i think every aspect of this film is SPOT ON. no human is alone, we are all connected, and yet we are seperate. no human is one dimensional, yet we always revert to base emtions

    LOVE this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • such an awesome movie... right to the heart

  • At the end of this song, a voice wispers "If you want to be given everything,

give everything up." This is from the Tao Te Ching (verse 22)

  • this is such a well put together vid. EXCELLENT would b an undrstatement. phenomenal movie, phenomenal tribute2it. tyvm!

  • my jaw actually dropped at the part with the little girl. so powerful.

  • a poignant song and movie to match

  • a poignant song and movie to match

  • This is life.

  • best movie of all times, all I can say. Music fits perfectly

  • I cried when I watched this the first time, and I've cried every time since. It hurts my heart and knowing things like this happen, and experiencing them--it makes it hurt all the more. Racism, slavery, ignorance and human flaw. It hurts.

    The truth hurts.

  • @ElManana96 - you wanna stop crying luv

  • This song gives me chills.. this movie does the same.. amazing <3

  • one of the best songs i ever heard ... great movie great soundtrack

  • you all are speaking here about this movie but none of you was mentioned the titel. so maybe someone can tell?

  • @causeilovemusic

It's called Crash becuase it's about peoples lives and beliefs "crashing" into one another.

  • @Jammed9000 thank you very much. i've already found this movie and watched. and it's great! the music and the story told in the movie are very soulful and tangend.

  • This movie (and song) was so beatifully moving and so powerful in it's message. Though I was a little heartbroken that Brokeback Moutain lost lol, this definitely deserved the Oscar. One of the few movies out there that can touch everybody's heart and make everyone feel something pertinent about themselves and their own lives.

  • Such a powerful movie. The actors performance's were so amazing and moving. If you watch this movie and don't feel anything maybe you have no feelings.

  • best fuking movie............i felt so many emotions at the same time..damn! they all end up "crashing into eachother".................it hd me hanging by a threat and the cast..wow! damnnnnnn i cried throughout the whole thing :(

  • fkn good move, one of the best! i really watched many films...but this...and like Jammed9000 say "this film gives us a message!"

  • this movie related well to the college course i am taking right now: race & ethnicity. We see the prejudices, stereotypes, misconceptions of everyone about race. great song...in the deep we are all in!

  • I totally agree with you jammed. I try to get my friends to watch this movie. but their too caught up with movies with guns and special effects. This movie liteally makes me think about the world from another perspective everytime I watch it. I'm only 15 years old, and yet I totally understand the concept of this movie. 10/10

  • There are way to many spoilers on the movie written as comments to this piece of beautiful music..

  • nice1 jammed9000 :>

  • Ludacris is brilliant in this film

  • i know

  • This is an amazing song...and the movie, well, it's just the best i ever saw!

Extraordinário trabalho de todos os actores...isto sim é 7ª arte!!

  • This movie shows life.

  • great, great movie

  • Iam swimming and lost in the deep for real and no one cares!

  • @snake7154 I hope you find ur way to the shallow waters and enjoy life more.

  • Till you shed your pride, and you climb to heaven,

    and you throw yourself off.

  • I LOVE Crash and this song!!!

  • so glad this film won the Oscar, though Brokeback Mountain wasn´t bad either.

  • i just finished watching this movie, very disturbing and sad but i loved it

  • I cant stop loving this song nad the movie Crash is so sad.

  • Song was in "the civilization of maxwell bright" first before crash and fit well for the end of the movie.

  • yes but it was commissioned around 2001 to the director of 'Crash' for later use in the film =)

  • I saw that movie yesterday and i cryed like three times, i see this video now and i cry again, i am acting like such a girl, i am so amazed by this movie. Well deserved Oscar.

  • @eliottiradord what parts did you cry in?

  • @eckosama I think the saddest part of this film is where the cop shoots the black guy because he thinks he is pulling out a gun, when it is a st.christopher statue. It's funny, the cop doesn't believe him that he likes country music (because he is black) when he infact does. Goes to show you shouldn't generalize.

  • gran bel film:Crash-contatto fisico:

    gran bella canzone

  • En el capitulo 2 de la segunda temporada, Autopsia. Para mi, el mejor episodio de toda la serie House.

  • This song appeared in some part of House M.D.:) Great song

  • OMG I'm soooo proud of myself for finding this song by only two lines of the song!!! Love it!!!

  • you mean you typed the lyrics into google and one of the many lyric sites that feature the song appeared? yeah good work mate ;)

Kidding aside, you made a great choice!

  • @freakygothic

    Which 2 lines?

" In the Deep In the Deep "??

  • this is a really nice but really sad song

  • Now this is a song that can really touch your soul, Man That's Ever Beautiful, 5 Stars.

  • I love it!!!!! it leave me speechless everytime i see this movie!!

  • This song hits you in the heart if you have a heart to help change someones life for the better because there is so much hate in this world its really sad .

  • Wow, amazing video!!!!!!

  • the scene at 2:19 with the little girl... I almost cried :(:::

  • did you see the movie???? oh my god, it's amazing

  • @jokerdell yes! it was... and the little girl scene was the best/ would have been the saddest scene if it really turned out that way.

  • could you believe three 6 mafia won the oscar over this?

Crash deserved best picture AND best song

  • @fonziegee

Not surprising. This country's taste in culture has gone down the drain. Look at the top songs, they're pretty much all rap/pop/the same thing.

  • @fonziegee lol i know thats stupid

  • Beutiful・・・

  • I´m a crazy fan of this movie , and the soundtrack as well

  • Fits the episode in House, again, perfectly.

Can't believe music in House is so great!

  • yea made me remind crash that was actually so perfect too

  • We are all mortal & sometimes need to crash into someone just to feel

  • @yamotto Well said, my friend.

  • ppl get so serious toward the bottom...first of all the creater of theis video did a grat job highlightsing key moments....yea i first watched it with my grandfather...he said this movie will fuk you up....ill be damn if we aint cry at 2:20 in the movie lol....its been since 2005 in my top 5 movies that shit was real

  • this song is truely amazing. most songs rhyme but this song rhymes in rhythm.

  • AMAZING IN MY HEART

  • This is an OUTSTANDING film there is nothing cheesy about it and yes the saddest part of it is that SO may people think, behave, feel and are as many of the characters of this movie. WE tend to judge without getting to know a person first. BEST MOVIE EVER!

  • This song is so thought provoking. I love it and the movie. ♥

  • if you wanna be given everything.. give everything up

  • Excellent movie and song

    Many thanks for posting

  • I personally know a lot of people who don't understand this movie and never gave it a chance. This makes me pity them that they will never really be able to experience the power behind the themes and messages in this film.

  • @Jammed9000 you're right . i think so

  • @Jammed9000 me too. This has to be one of the most emotionally moving films I have ever seen after Tuesdays with Morrie. I do have to say though, that certain races were portrayed way too generally in this film, as if the director himself did not know too much about those races. And funny to think about it, it still makes asians look bad lol.

watever, I'll stop criticising the film, it's good the way it is. And I must say, I almost cried when the hispanic girl "almost" died.

  • @Jammed9000

    lol simpleton

  • @ClappingForChlamydia

    What do you mean "simpleton"?

  • @Jammed9000

Totally it is also one of my favourites. Have you ever seen Magnolia or 21 Gram?

  • @RicHimself

I havn't seen those but I will now you mention them.

  • @Jammed9000

Do and tell me how you liked them ;)

I wish i could watch them like you, not knowing

  • @Jammed9000 me to...I mean I consider my self a MAJOR MOVIE BUFF!! and so many ppl didnt get this movie and thought it was stupid, well I would have to agree with you, its the best of all time! it has super sonic meaning behind it that pretty much boils down to the 6degrees of seperation thing, that what you do in your life could have a MAJOR IMPACT on someone elses just by mearly geting them to install a lock on your door. amazing film and amazing song

  • @Jammed9000 so many ppl didnt get this movie and thought it was stupid, well I would have to agree with you, its the best of all time! it has super sonic meaning behind it that pretty much boils down to the 6degrees of seperation thing, that what you do in your life could have a MAJOR IMPACT on someone elses just by mearly geting them to install a lock on your door. amazing film and amazing song

  • That part at 2:20. I have never cried so hard in a movie in my entire life.

  • seeing a little girl get shot (or we think she did) is like the fucking sadest shit ive every witnessed, i cried enough to like fill a mason jar with

  • ye that bit got me too

  • THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT!!! MAKES ME CRY everytime i watch it. just had me a real gay cry...haha

  • Aside from what cliches that may exist this film is beautifully pieced together with amazing soundtrack, prejudice & ignorance sadly will be apart of life forever and this film just shows the impact of that, people see only what they want to see (thespacialone) :-(

  • ludacris won a ton of grammys and now he can say appeared in a Best Picture winning movie. impressive

  • this movie was amzing and this song, too.

I think that all who are that upset about some used cliches have not understand a tiny little bit of the movies moral. Just been blinded by cliches to see the truth...

  • This film is absolutley amazing. Must see

  • This is one of the all-time greatest movies in my opinion. It is so touching and this song is perfect for the movie.

  • that's a pretty ignorant comment

  • Contrived, racist, inhuman. Your response proves your (italics) ignorance. Matt Dillon is, of course, outstanding, but the film's message and its delivery I find disgusting.

  • It's clear that your prejudice has totally deluded you from the message of this film.

  • I'm saddened by how pathetically susceptible what I presume is a white-dominated audience has become to such hideous propaganda. Out-of-control blacks, trigger happy Arabs, starry-eyed little yellow people - any number of hateful racial cliches. The burning of the black man by the blonde cop - (subtext) well, wouldn't you in the same situation? The submissive way Thandie Newton's character relates to the man who sexually abused her. I could go on. Whatever, I'll leave you to your "entertainment"

  • @thespacialone

You use the word 'subtext', but clearly are missing that in this film.

BTW... Not all colored people outside your known map are Arabs. This one was Persian.

  • Lol @ you. Yes, I am well aware of the Middle Eastern people's varied heritage, as well as the fact the film made it explicit the "shooter" was Persian. I have lived with Iranians in Hungary, Semites in Israel, and a Syrian in the UK, and I suspect my knowledge of geography, demography and ethnicity is far superior to yours, but whatever. I know why you like this film, why you think it poetic, but I also know you have been duped.

  • @thespacialone im saddened you're trying to carry on a deep, detailed debate about racism on youtube instead of just enjoying the damn song, you jackass

  • Okay, you made me chuckle. Fair comment. Seems someone else has a similar opinion, as my last comment was deleted but my first duplicated. Well, I think I got enough thumbs down for one post already. Best regards

  • i love this movie..awesome, and very beautiful song!

  • This movie is amazing.

And this song is beautiful :)

  • I think it has everything to do with religion....human nature and God go hand and hand.....The movie has an impact on everyone in a different way and can be interpreted in so many different ways.

  • Im sorry but get your religious shit out of here. this message has nothing to do with God or any type of religion, it has to do with simply human nature and how violent it is and how everyone is prejudice one way or another. That's bullshit that you come in here like that and start preaching.

  • I agree, where they hell do any of you see religion or God being displayed in this movie? This is about basic human emotion and like DiveBum said, how we are all prejudice. I live in a christian family, it is amazing how two faced most of you bastards are. Live your own life, stop preaching to others.

  • fucking beautiful movie.

    fucking beautiful song.

    fucking beautiful message.

    end of story.

  • Great selection of clips

  • una pelicula muy impactante y profunda q aun mejora con la musica.este tema la hace mas especial.impresionant film y muy linda cancion

  • This song should make folks reflect on their life and are they doing the will of God, you can be gone in a second.

  • Comment removed

  • Let's not be like that, now. You don't need to rain on other people's parades just because something evidently happened to you to make you decide God isn't something to at least consider.

  • Comment removed

  • Might it be because they are trying to save others from eternal damnation? Whether or not you believe, if they believe in God, they are trying to save you. Even if you don't agree, shouldn't you be thanking them for thinking of you?

  • in fact it has nothing of ridiculous... I've never think on that way but it's truth... they at least are thinking of you... and they're not making you believe, just showing you another way of see things

  • Congresswoman Wyatt, you never fail to amaze...

  • i love this

  • gh this song burns right through my body to my heart. My oldest brother died right before this movie came to dvd and I watched it for the first time and heard this song and now it reminds me of him all the time but It's almost a kind of reliefe sadness.

  • really sorry to hear this :(

i share your thoughts about this song its beautiful! remember your brother with pride my dear. I wish you all the best, take care luv

  • This song never gets old, i've been listening to it for the past 2 hours again and again and somehow it gets better and better.

  • This movie was so awesome, I watch it twice in a row.

  • Nice

  • Great Song!!!

  • Stereophonics - Maybe Tomorrow

  • Does anybody know the name of the song that plays when the ending credits start playing? I would really appreciate it if anyone told me. This film is excellent!!

  • 'May Be Tommorow"

  • This song has haunted me since the first time I saw Crash. It's hard to describe or explain the emotions I feel when hearing this.

It, however, still lies in the deep of my heart and will stay with me til the day I die. Wonderful song.

  • me too. is wish i could describe what it is that i feel when i listen to this song. the easiest way for me to say it is that it's a cold winter, middle of the night type longing.

  • Best Movie ever...period

  • Indeed.

  • Musica y letra buenisima.

Una excelente canción que no deja indiferente.
