  • I know that most of you will disagree with me, but I don't like Griskey's work in K2 and SWTOR at all. Jeremy Soule (K1) would have done a far better job in my opinion.

  • Your first act will be to kill your former master'

SATISFYING,After dying to Nomen karr 3 times and finally turning his own against him..just..YES!

  • @TheSephiroth5 That was probably the most satisfied I felt doing a class quest - and I have a 50 operative.

    *SPOILER BELOW*

You don't just beat Nomen Karr - you BREAK Nomen Karr.

You don't just break Nomen Karr - (if you go darkside) you mindfuck his padawan by letting her see what her master has become.

You don't just mindfuck his padawan - you break her, too, and make her your own apprentice.

The SW story is just so much win.

  • @DigitalOberon Indeed, the sith warrior story is amazing. I love how long the acts are too, just the first act with that climax felt like a whole game in iteself, easily on par with KotOR. Plus, though it's an MMO, the levelling felt really natural, like it was a single player game.

  • @TheSephiroth5 Satisfying indeed

  • "Cake is a lie, there is only cookies."

  • There are hints of imperial march scattered here and there in the game, but it never goes into the full-blown imperial march we know. Also, it is a different kind of empire compared to the Imperial, uhm, empire, and not quite as much the big bad evil guys, so having a more manipulative theme seems suitable, although I have have liked it to also have been a bit darker.

  • @DarkTider If anything, the Sith Empire is much more big bad evil guys than the Galactic Empire. Much stronger racial tensions, thousands of Sith, a scheming Dark Council with an omnicidial maniac as Sith Emperor and a extremely expansionistic attitude in general. The Galactic Empire had a grand total of two Sith Lords, and already controlled the entire galaxy minus Hutt space. Their goal was to bring order to the galaxy and defeat aggressive terrorists who threatened to destroy them.

  • @Rykanable agreed if i had a nickel for everytime ive heard a sith say "we will destroy the jedi and the republic and bring the galaxy to its knees to serve our emporer!" id be rich

  • This theme is so fucking GOOD.

  • Thats not fear I smell is it?

  • @TheGrahamAker +15 affection with Khem Vaal

  • would've been cool to hear a hint of imperial march, but still sounds pretty good!

  • @tim5779 sniff sniff ... What's that what do you smell?

    Sarcasm!

  • @tim5779 Imperial March wouldn't have worked for SWTOR, since this isn't the same Empire--the Galactic Empire is really a marriage of both SWTOR factions. This is also meant more to be mood setting background music for the Empire's general areas and Flashpoints. Imperial March, while amazing, is too intense, famous, and attention-grabbing for that. This is meant more to be recognized, heard in the back of your head, but not grab your attention beyond the brass intro.

  • @tim5779 the Imperial is kinda Darth Vader Exclusive so purists may find this totally out of context. but I see the point.
