David, you should start out with a racing or sports game. When you start getting better with those games, move up to a First Person Shooter game. But don't get a well known Fps game like call of duty. Start with a Fps game like medal of honor. After you get good with that, move up to a call of duty of your choice. Then last but not least, move up to a saints row or grand theft auto. :) I'm subscribed :)
halo reach is actually a pretty easy game to play and forza moter sports 3 or 4 which is a racing game with terrific graphics is actually a fun game for people who like cars....

Few people have mentioned getting Halo : CE, the remake. I will back them up on this. I bought it and I love it. I loved the original back when I had it and I love it all over again right now.
As for me though with Jude, im opting out of any gifts for the next few years. In my own opinion parents should move all focus to their children during christmas, and that's what I will be doing. I told all my family who asked what I wanted to get something for Jude and I told my wife the same.

I'd start off getting Halo CE: Anniversary for the 360, it's the first Halo game remade in HD, and it's not the hardest/most exacting first person shooter so it would be a good introduction for the console. A sports game would be also a good choice, depending on which one you like best. I also really liked Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and it's super cheap at this point. Oh and a Live subscription if u want to play online w/ friends
I do enjoy your videos... I don't know what camcorder you're using, but every single recent video is out of focus, usually horribly to render them nearly unwatchable. This one's not bad, but still fuzzy & out of focus. Maybe you should add a decent camcorder with autofocus to the list?
@lamelama22 LOL I think you will be surprised to hear I was using my new Canon Rebel T3i. Most of the issues you are pointing to have been user error on my part, still learning how to use the camera. Never claimed to be a production house :)

Halo is the easier shooter. Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare are the best Military Shooter. There are some games like the Dorito Challenge that is a lot of fun, (a plattform run and jumping game). But if you are not into gaming, the Xbox is good for social activities like party chat and other social networking apps. Glocks are good combat handguns...reliable and durable. :-)
@bumthink121 Graphics are mostly on par with Xbox 360 games. I have both systems, seriously not a whole lot of difference. Besides, as long as the game is fun who really cares about graphics.

An awesome Xbox game is Rayman: Origins. Its a classic! It`s a Side scrolling platformer, the series started back in the day. But the new one has gotten awesome reviews from everyone. And as the Kinect goes, Dance Central is a top favorite for most kinect owners. Anyways great video and list David. Have a great Holiday!

I have some game suggestions for you:
-Call of Duty:MW3 or Battlefield 3 if your looking for a good FPS that is popular and imo easy to learn.
-Skyrim if you're interested in an rpg and are willing to spend A LOT of time playing and learning the game
-Saints Row: The Third if you want an easy to learn game that you can just have fun with
-Any of the Assassins Creed games if you want a good story that doesn't require you to be a hardcore gamer to get into.
