nice...i have a 289 in my 67 fairlane...i put a 270h comp cam/lifter set in it, stiffer valve springs, edelbrock performer 289 intake, and a holley 700 dp carb, I have headers for it just havnt got em put on yet, it ran a 16.85 at 80something mph with stock 3.0 gears and narrow street tires...when i get a 9 inch rear im gunna be puttin 4.11s that i have in it...they are a very under estimated good motor,,nice car btw lol
Other than the fact that German cars fall apart after they hit 200,000 miles, id love to hear one, just one, that sounds even half as awsome as this beast!
guys did the 260 ford motor ever get put in anything but ford?? know my little 260 wont do a 100 mph!!! it still runs after 40 plus years though. great vid btw.
