Nice style. Thank you for such a classic kung fu film. Still looking for a favorite one, WAY OF THE SCORPION, lost my copy in betamax format. I've been searching for that film for 2 years now. Thanks to all.
Oh yeah, the parts from 6:53 till the end was the best fights of the whole movie. Loved it! It makes me cheer, "Kick his ass!" and that end part (spoiling this for anyone who hasn't watched the end yet) where the master catches him is awesome! MONKEY FTW
@virgisignotierra Agreed. Very selfless, that's what I love about this movie. Funny, after this Hsiao Ho never played a noble character ever again. He did My Young Auntie which is where I first saw him, and loved him in that. But he played the spoiled son, all of the martial arts were very good, and he was hilarious. The movie will never get old because the comedy seems on par with the times. Then he played Fong Sai Yok in Disciples of the 36th Chamber, and again, his character was a brat.
@virgisignotierra cool. It's an awesome movie. Make sure you watch the mandarin version. THe english dub is done well but the mandarin has some in jokes (involving english) that you will surely miss if you watch the dubbed version.
I just watched this today and it's an excellent film, so awesome!!! I'll give it a 10!!! The fighting scenes are way way cool... Kung-Fu as an art is just so perfect ever since. Makes me admire more of the Chinese culture. This film made me happy! The story has a simple plot and the fight seens are so incredible!!! Thanks for posting this video visigoth101! Two thumbs up! Keep up the good work!!!
Daggers 8, Fearless Hyena, 5 Deadly Venoms, Thundering Mantis... then you have the new generation like Iron Monkey and Ip Man... THATS ALL YOU NEED BRUDDA!!!
Also check out Masked Avengers, Kid with the golden arm, Chinese super ninjas and etc. the great thing about these on You tube is that you'll find other good films in the related vidz on the right!!!
@leprechaungiant1@leprechaungiant1 I think this was Hsiao Ho's movie, moreso than the director. The Lau Kar-Leung's character (Teacher) didn't do alot, he let his student avenge him and his sister. Plus, Hsiao Hou did all of his own stunts, which are pretty damned awesome. 1:39
