Before I had family responsabilities, I would love to have been on the staff of the Wiener Sangerknaben teaching immersion English or French. They sing well in English and must have an excellent teacher and program. As well as German and English do they take other languages, French perhaps or Spanish?

Does anyone know why the Vienna Boys Choir always dress like sailors? The uniform is very smart - I just wonder if there is a reason...

@ Bouncybon, The WSK is a very old choir in 1925 they decided to wear a sailer uniform, that was a standard costume in that time.and now it's tradition for them.

They have two colours : darkblue and white.

When AustroHungarian empire was at its largest extent it had a coast and I wondered if the uniform dated back to that time since I knew that die Wiener Sangerknaben was an extremely old choir.. Anyway theyall look very nice in that sailor suit. I am quite a fan.

I am quite jealous since when I was a choirboy our repetoire did not include all of the delightrful things that these boys get to sing.
