Why does everyone blame Fox News? Fox News aired this, and just like every other news channel, YES, they allow for different opinions to be aired. Just this morning, there was a news cast about how Christians are saying we shouldn't have to pay taxes because "God says so". They were not supporting this AT ALL. People who criticize Fox news for being a horrible one sided machine who is creating crazy Americans are wrong.

let us please keep things in perspective. there is just as much hate on the left that there is on the right. read the bloggers out there, read the disgusting name calling in comment section right here on youtube. to characterize the right from emails by some crazy people is just as wrong as saying the left is full of dangerous hate mongers because of a small percentage of whackos out there. another point, just because someone disagrees with a black man doesn't make them a racist.

@thoughtfinder I don't hate Fox News, I just don't trust their credibility. And Dems don't usually turn out for midterms, so it is likely they'll lose the house, but they'll keep the Senate. I guess he saw how public schools have been [sarcasm] such a great success [/sarcasm], why not improve the healthcare industry, the car industry, and try his hardest to get in the banking industry? The only reason the government doesn't own those industries is because private industry is better, we all know it, and we won't let go. The majority voted against the healthcare bill.

1) Universal Heath Care is probably the most centrist idea out there. Why is that true despite it basically meaning that the government pays for you to go see a doctor? Because in the long run, it helps capitalism. How? Because people aren't funneling thousands of dollars into a CEO's savings account, they can SPEND that money on things they want and need. It also saves the country some money, usually 3% of GDP, among other things

Zoom ahead past Nixon, Regan, and Bush sr, and now you have a school system utterly demolished and inoperable. Why? Tax cuts cutting short revenue towards the programs that need it, and funneling what's left into defense spending.

6) The government, when it does health care, does it cheaper and more comprehensively. In Canada, when the government gets involved in banks, it STOPS THEM FROM CRASHING AND RUINING THE ECONOMY. So much for your cute idea of the free market being better.

I think if the democrats would have used the phrase unrestricted healthcare, the main point of the bill would have been more evident to people like fuzzyabomb.
