For an 'ordinary' comprehensive school choir this is extraordinary. Other school choirs can only dream of such ability, passion, committment and success.
I disagree with your comment that this is not impressive. Remember that this is a 'live' performance during mass with a mono microphone in the congregation! Yes of course their recordings and professional TV recordings are great - but for a 'live' performance this is very good. Just a shame the choir was disbanded in 2006. A jewel of the city of Liverpool lost forever!
As a founder member the choir was 5 great years of my life. Watching this video brought back so many vivid memories of great times. KK I am so glad everything has come to light and you can continue on with your life. Thank you everyone. Graeme

Surely the best school choir in the UK? To tour 13 different countries in 12 years is amazing. I was in the choir 7 years and went on around 40 tours with them all over the world! The memories will stay with us all forever. We truly were one big happy family and we will stick together always, we will 'never walk alone'. The full description to this clip just says it all! A tremendous choir and a tremendous choir master the perfect ensemble to form such a perfect family. We had an amazing out look on the world and the people in it, now that faces have turned our oppinion on them people have turned also. But nothing can change the way we felt about our music and our huge family. always have memories.
This makes me proud of 2 things. 1) to have attended SFX , 2) to be british.
