  • actually i fish w/ hot dogs all the time for yellow perch, bluegill, green sunnies, redbrested sunnies, brown bullhead catfish, lm bass, sm bass, black crappie, carp, bream, pike, pickeral and shiners. just put a chunk no larger than 1 in on the hook and watch the magic happen. you can catch fish no bigger than the chunk ur using or you can catch 6 lb bass, 10 lb pike, and 18 in bullheads. cooked hotdogs work the best.

  • id be fishing for them

  • id be fishing for them

  • Now this is awesome! I always wanted to have a house with a creek or pond in back. Only problem is most houses have a ton of trees near that bring mosquitoes. You should fit a camera to an RC Sub and make underwater videos.

  • wow! you have a creek in your backyard?! i've always been jealous of people like you! lol. my friend has a creek behind his house too loaded with fish and whenever i go over i mess around with them like by letting my arowana in the water you know things like that

    *something fresh*

    gotfish?

  • wtf? you can catch bluegill and bass with hotdogs?

  • @ThemSmurfs Yes, and they love fried chicken too.

  • @ThemSmurfs Yes, they also love burgers. And make sure you put some mayonnaise in the burger and add some pickles, too. And, while you're at it, you might want to give them bacon, too. Just make sure you ask them what fast-food brand they prefer. Bass prefer Wendy's, bluegills seem to like McDo a lot, breams are so cheap they would take a Burger King.

  • those are huge bluegills!!!

  • those blue gill love hotdogs i only chatch blue gill if i use a hotdog

  • where do u live i wanna fish there lol

  • BIg bluegills and the bass are babys you gotta look really hard

  • Wow dude, pretty decent size bream You got there :D

  • i hate u

  • those arent bass there bluegill right?

  • cool

  • bass like hot dog?

  • Yes they do. I use hot dogs cut into long strips to catch them.

  • bluegill = bream? i always thought so.

dude, you're fucking lucky to have that behind your house!

  • is this how you fatten them up before catching them?

  • lucky

  • ur a lucky man

  • GET THE NET!!!

  • WHERE'S THE NET??

  • if there eatin hot dog put a small chunk on a size 10 hook free lined easy fishing

  • why then you just throw it back to your feet that doesnt sound fun at all

  • lol is that a pond or lake?

  • If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?

  • I would say some of those scented yum padletail grubs. They are just beg enough for bass and just small enough for bream. The LPT realy makes the diference.

  • xrap lure minnow zoom frogs

  • or just go to a local creek, and catch some minnnows. works just as well for me

  • how do i catch minnows? assume that i have no nets

  • you can make a minnow trap, out of a 2liter soda bottle. There are many instructional vids, here on you tube. Basically what you do is cut the bottle top off at 3/4ths to the top, and then put some food in the bottom, then you put the lid back on, but backwards. if you just look up minnow trap that will probably work

  • Ok, I read all of the replies and there is one simple answer. A Rooster tail spinner bait. These have been around forever and still catch everything, I have even caught a channel cat on one. Bass and pan fish gulp them right up! For $20 you could get 8 variations from Wal-Mart. Good Fishing!

  • any spiner lure will work

  • jiggs work best for bass, panfish, mostly live bait like waxforms and crickets, u can use bobbers or but a weight on and deep drop them on the bottom

  • i no what u need i think my all time ,all ways going to catch fish lure would be the trout worms by Berkly . they catch any thing and i mean any thing from trout to blue gill ,to cat fish ... p.s buy some and if you want to catch bluegill or bass with them the best colors would be natural or black shad ... in california this is one of the most used plastics of all time to catch fish ..so try it i promise it will work , o yea for trout use orange , green , or white , best colors for that

  • learn how to spell idiot

  • berkly worms suck. rapala is the way to go. and don't be all, you don't know how to fish worms. i do.

learn to spell. you don't put a space before a comma retard.

  • @lardtaziumwadmaster worms are great for less casting and stubburn fish... rapala is the shit though

  • @asianwannabeamerican------------- plastic worms are the best bass lure for the price....... i got good at fishing them cause i had barely any money and they were ony around 10$ for the Gulp, hooks, and worms. This is snagless and that helps in the long run

  • what a feast

  • what is that on the line it looks like a hot dog

  • I agree. It does look like a hot dog.

  • cool vid!

  • lucky southerners who have sunfish and bass in there creeks. out here in Califiornia we just have woosy minnows.

  • HOW BIG THE BIGGEST FISH?

  • so wheres the bass?

  • You can see him swim by starting at frame 114.

  • Isn't that so fun! I love to feed mine too and also feed hotdogs along with other things. Funny how they sure can have individual tastes from fish to fish. I have one bass that I have to cut his hotdog just right or he won't' eat it. Your water is so nice and clear - are you shining a light down?

  • It's sunlight shining throught some trees across the canal. The video was taken early in the morning.

  • why are you showin em our fish man? wtf?! haha

im from E-town dude whats up?!

  • Yeah, our bass (we call him "Smiley") prefers his hot dogs sliced lengthwise in long thin strips.

  • Are those redbreast sunfish and bluegills?

  • is that a finger dangling from the hook?

  • Hot Dog :D

  • wow u could catch so many fish nice spot

  • you should take a fly rod to that place with light tackle i do at a local pond and catch some five pound bass fly rods are fun

  • Bluegill and bream are the same fish, different names depending on where you live.

  • Yeah I know they're the same thing but saying bream and bluegill makes it sound like I have more variety. My canal has stripers and rockfish too.
