  • It looks like a C N CADY engine. He made marine engines and these were used for canoes.

  • Yup carb is a Schlebler model D

My 3 HP Acadia has an actual Acadia carb which is identical to the Schlebler D but marked Acadia.

Acadia did make spark plug engines and advertised them at 1 HP more than the same size Make and Break engines.

  • @176ernie I believe there was also a norwegian unauthorized "clone" of this carburator called FFM, made in Fredrikstad.

  • not sure on the engine , but the carb is from a acadia engine , acadia engines where built in bridgewater , nova scotia , canada, never seen a acadia with mag and spark plug only coil and ignitors which ran from 6 volt battery .

  • Looks like a Blaxland-Chapman Pup from the 30's.

  • Next to a Harley, that's the coolest engine sound I've heard so far !

  • looks like a corn grinder with a spark plug very cool

  • this is a sarns

  • you know maybe some one home made it

  • Ignition is battery and coil. The timer handle is between the flywheel and the cylinder

  • Wow; how it is that that 2 stroke does not mis-fire in a no-load state? Have you adapted an ignition system?, do you have a battery off-screen/ or is that a low tension coil within the flywheel?

  • cool !

    i like it
