  • de los mejores grupos que existen.

  • When I'm a good dog they sometimes throw me a bone in. Beautiful.

  • loudest audio ever

  • magnanimo

  • Chills everywhere.

  • Jestem przystojny kacper i skromny i mądry i nie mam fejsbuka ale kacper i teraz słucham pink floyd.

  • De las mejores!

  • I really love pink floyd and this is one of the song that i prefer on the album the wall but i've got a problem with the ego of Roger Waters who is alone on the stage with his musician hiding behind a wall?

  • @MrVagaara that's the idea. It's not Roger who is alone. He is in character, it's Pink who is all alone in his hotel room. This has nothing to do with anyones ego.

  • This is not Pink Floyd guys, this is Roger Waters, no one that knows what is Pink Floyd would say that Roger Waters is the same, and I'm not saying Roger isn't good.

Pink Floyd is The Pipers at the Gates of Dawn with it's creator, Syd Barrett, and then, for example, Live at Pompeii, with David Gilmore, when Roger didn't wanted all for him yet.

  • Roger is my life's hero. I'll be seeing him perform the wall here in chicago in june of 2012. I've already had dreams about seeing it.

  • @IllusionalGuitarist You are gonna love it mate. I was in London on 12th may 2011,the night big Dave appeared at the top of the wall during comfortably numb. Best thing I have ever seen in my entire life.I would love to see that again.Hopefully when he's finished touring the dvd will come out.Amazing show, out of this world..........thank you Roger : )

  • magic

  • the wall is one of the best albums ever, but waters thought that he was god and massacrated the rest of the band for him to get his momment of famous. a huge part of the oink floyd's musicality came from gilmour.

  • if i ever took my own life it would be to this song on repeat

  • When was this taped?

  • @jdogsguitar - I THINK it was recorded in the very early 90's.

  • It doesn't get much better then this :-)

  • emotional..

  • this is one of my favorite subjects of a deep nostalgia .. .......... G. Sergio Uribe Stgo. de chile

  • I love both, Gilmour, & Water's. I wish people would stop putting either one down, they're both great artists.

I love this song, and this video <3.

  • @christine66614 Waters* had to correct myself...

  • I have watched this video a hundred times already today......simply amazing. Sadly we will never see pure emotional talent like this in today's society...This is music at its finest.

  • todos a river a ver roger water en marzo!!!!geniooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank's to this man.

  • I love this song, I love all the songs that Waters contributed to Pink Floyd, I just wish the guy could.. Well... Sing? He sounds great on the albums but anything outside of that he sounds terrible. It works on this song though because he sounds so tortured, adds to the beauty of the song so much.

  • JUST ENJOY THIS GREAT MUSIC,NOBODY CAN MAKE MUSIC LIKE THIS ANYMORE THE GREAT MOMENTS ARE GONE . YOU RATHER LISTEN TO CHRIS BROWN,LADY GA-GA. THAT'S FINE WITH ME.

  • Surprise surprise surprise!

  • I love you, Roger Waters.

  • He put so much emotion into this..

  • @MajBummer So much.

  • Uma das melhores musicas desta banda fantastica! Pink Floyd é eterno!

  • When we have just Roger forget the rest

  • What year was this`?

  • This song depress me so bad man :'( Great masterpiece

  • Waters is a much better songwriter than Gilmour, but there is no arguing that together they are unstoppable and formed the greatest rock band of all time.

  • @Radiohead17321 correction, greatest band of all time

  • @BillyandBarry yea i said that

  • @Radiohead17321 no, you said rock band, I'm saying BAND overall.

  • @BillyandBarry oh i cant argue with that

  • what is 3:16 means ??

  • Guys, hes voice is just perfect for that kind of song...And, dont forget that he is like 60+.. I love his voice..

  • I love you Roger

  • I really don't think I like the inclusion of a guitar solo here...it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the song.

  • That was freakin awesome !

  • Stop that already! Gilmour is not "better" than Roger, and Roger is not "better" than Gilmour. They were Pink Floyd, that's all! They made those awsome songs and for some reasons they are no longer. Both Gilmour and Roger, among with the other members of course, did that great job .. Those songs will not be written again. So stop arguing about who is better or who wrote the song or the solo, just listen to it and feel that they were Pink Floyd and they will never die!

  • @ggiorgoss12 I agree with you

  • Beautiful solo by snowy

  • Hemos tenido la oportunidad de vivir unas de las mejores épocas de la música contemporanea

  • This is my favorite song from The Wall. I listen to it like 10 times a day. I know the lyrics by heart :)

  • @freethetech

My favourite track on the Wall too.

  • @lukequixotesanjose I don't know if I'm just a bit abnormal, but I write the lyrics to the song in my binder every day. It's a great song.

  • @freethetech yep its a g8 song, one of my fave tracks from the wall, ever tried addin your own lyrics to the binder and see what 'you' come up with....:)

  • @maxrome67 Nah. But this is the song I'm currently learning for guitar. :)

  • One word: epic

  • Gracias Roger por compartir tu sensibilidad con nosotros.

  • See you on the 12th may Roger. Counting down the seconds : )

  • what the fuck, this song is soooooo amazing!!!!!

  • I love how into it Roger Waters gets. His facial expressions are boss. Sends shivers down my spine.

  • i feel such a bittersweet pessimism and disillusionment when listening to this song, it just gives me this feeling like everything's gone and all you have left to comfort you is your wry humour and "dark sarcasm"

  • Thank you Pink Floyd for touch my soul and change my thoughts, my lifestyle, oohh yeah, music can change people, even more if the music is from pink floyd..

  • The vocal here is taken from the dress rehearsal and not the actual gig, which was beset by sound problems - I know because I recorded it on the night as it was televised and this particular track sticks out with a frankly terrible vocal from Roger...maybe his monitoring was poor or something but the high note at about 2:30 was completely off. I still cringe when I play the original now, but it was a good idea to re-do the official release with the 'fixed' vocals.

  • that version sucks : |

  • Snowy White did the great job.

  • really sad, that the first result for searching "nobody home" on youtube, is from avril lavigne - or something crap like that...

  • Snowy White... I love you!

  • if anybody in this chat thing is a guitar player... how would HE or SHE compete in order to win snowy`s roll at that time? .. .this is just video footage of a few talented musician`s making a blast in front of millions live (if you inlcude LIVE TV).

  • I saw The Wall, in vancouver 2010 the best show EVER! most amazing night of my life

  • Roger Waters stole this song from me. I forgive him.

  • i see people and people and people

  • so the audience didnt see the band?

  • That's David Gilmore singing,

  • @azloner56 no because this is roger waters in berlin and roger waters left the band in 1985

  • Why did Roger put on such a colossal show? 'CAUSE HE CAN!!!

  • enough stupid gilmour/clapton/snowy comments.. enjoy the epicness of this.

  • I think every person whos posted on this wall is a moron. Stop lookin so deep in to this shit...though it is based on real life experience...its still music designed for entertainment...get over it and "ENJOY YOURSELVES...HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!"

  • You can't say that Gilmour was Pink. In the history of Pink Floyd, the Waters-led era was 10 times better than the Gimour-led era.

  • This is one of the very best scenes/songs from this concert.

  • ROGER MADE MADE MY EYES WATER. beautiful.

  • The best song

  • Man. We all Know Gilmour was pink. But you gotta give it to roger its a good guitar solo he had put into the slot. Give respect where its due

  • @chillbillly bull shit gilmour was pink the wall was all roger

  • @achedd and sid right?

  • @dontacthurt syd kicked the group off but roger wrote the wall basically by himself

  • @achedd you dont know nothing. gilmour will pump waters head 20 times b4 rogers could flinch

  • 3:00 min see Waters crying is so epic .

  • @turkniktout its called RolePlaying

  • @bovb902 ^^ Understand but Waters is the only artist that I saw doing this .

  • I saw Roger in St Louis 10/29/2010!!! My dream!!! O M G

  • Este som mexe fundo, com emoções e pensamentos. Dos melhores sons que já ouvi, sem dúvida. Quando acaba até penso 'já posso morrer em paz'. ahahahah

The Pink Floyd Sound para sempre.

  • It's really surprising that still some people treat David Gilmour as if he was the main guy on PF. Usually this is very common on the younger generations who likely knew of PF with the Division Bell album and/or who lack any deep knowledge of Floyd's music and lyrics. Gilmour had to hire outside musicians to help him compose music for the 2 dehydrated PF albums. Gilmour is one of the greats, And I love his solo music, but allegoricly speaking, he was the Scottie Pippen of PF . Roger was Jordan.

  • @gozaderadrfunk I agree with you brother....

  • @gozaderadrfunk I totally agree. The beauty of Pink Floyd was definitely the fucked up lyrics and wild psyche of Roger Waters (and of course his epic screams, yells, and cries) combined with the the smooth licks and vocals that David Gilmour contributed. Everything post-Final Cut lacks a good deal of the passion of earlier Floyd, and can be considered the kick off to Gilmour's solo career. What made Pink Floyd great has passed its time. But thank the rock gods for the albums left in their wake

  • I teared up during this. I've never done that before.

  • Snowy White im your fan!!! ^^

  • Will people quit fucking complaining about Snowy's solo "not having the same tone as Gilmour", it's so much illinformed bullshit. Gilmour has NEVER, EVER played a guitar solo on this song in his career. This was added by Roger on his 1984 solo tour, with Eric Clapton as guitarist. If anything, Snowy White is ripping off Clapton's tone here, not Gilmour's.

This version of the song ain't too great though, Roger sounds kinda sick. His voice ain't the greatest here. Much better on his cuurenttour

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan If its any consolation I think the solo adds to this Classic and very emotional track!!!

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan True but i dont think u should mess with the original

  • Agreed. But not only that, both Gilmour and Clapton play Fender Strats. It looks like Snowy is playing a Gibson Les Paul. They don't compare in tone. Apples and Oranges. Snowy is doing his own thing....

  • Not 100% with you, look at his face, it is as emotional as the song deserves. If he's playing it, he's a great actor too :)

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan he has been using alot of voice editing for his current tour though. i mean. the show sounded EXACTLY like the album.

  • I agree. When I saw The Wall Live recently, Snowy's solos were excellent. It would have been neat if David Gilmour had been there, though.

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan you can't compare gilmour with waters everobody knows gilmour is better

  • @matiallo You're a complete wanker, lol

    Do some research!

  • @matiallo You can't say that! Gilmour had a good singing ability, Waters had a good writing ability. Together, they are Pink Floyd. Without Roger, half the songs Pink Floyd have ever done wouldn't exist and without Gilmour, all the songs sung by him and the solo's played by him wouldn't have been as good. So, you're right - you can't compare Gilmour to Waters or Waters to Gilmour - they are both brilliant!

  • @Belgarath98 agreed agreed i shouldn't say that guilmour was better than waters but look at the facts, most famous songs like wish u where here, coming back to life, marooned, confortably numb and high hopes, all of them written by guilmoure...

  • @matiallo Yeah, but Waters was mostly responsible for the whole Wish You Were Here album, as well as Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.

  • @MaximillianZakes FInally... someone said it!

  • @matiallo Comfortably Numb was written by Waters. Gilmour "only" found the solo. And other famous songs like shine on you crazy diamond, money, etc were written by waters too. The only fact you can look at is that Pink Floyd is the greatest band that ever existed. And Pink Floyd is about Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Syd Barrett. No one more, no one less.

  • @matiallo Wish you were here was written by Waters. And so were the lyrics from Comfortably Numb

  • @matiallo Wait a mo here, why don't you really look at the facts dude, from dark side onwards, most music and all lyrics by Roger :)

Dave freely admits he can't write.

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan probaly because he's sitting down cuz i cant sing well sitting down

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan I disagree, Roger sounds awesome anytime!! :)
