  • also all religions shud be able to get along. Holy shit theres just so much rong with this world

  • completeley agree with this guy wtf happened to religioue freedom. One of the many reasons I hate america

  • Some Americans are berserk as he'll

  • do me a favor please? check this video and see if it can be share, it wont let me share this to facebook, thank you kindly

  • Who is this arsehole?

  • What the fuck. That's it. You can't openly worship religion in this world anymore! Now people are pushing "under god" out of the pledge of allegiance. Why?

  • ah beck is againts teacher ... that means teacher is right

  • this guy made me lol. As fired up as he was about this, he made a good point. There's a difference between not promoting religion in a public school and banning children from expressing their Christian beliefs.

  • I normally don't approve of Fox news or Glenn Beck, but I concur with him for this. Neither of these cases were a kid spewing hate against other people, or trying to be disruptive in any way. It was a simple freedom of expression case. Something Americans claim is sacred, but obviously, for them that right is conditional!

  • @TheGamersGuides

lol magic did it till we find a consensus

  • I'm not a Christian, and I do not like Glenn Beck, but what they did to the 8 year old is dumb as hell. If I recall, don't clergymen use depictions of jesus on the cross to honor his sacrifice? How is the kid drawing him on the cross the makings of a young serial killer? :3

  • the picture was fine and the girl should have been able to read the bible if she wanted. but at one point in time 90% of people thought that the world was flat. if 90% of the nation believe something is true that doesnt necessarly mean it is. most nobel prize winners in science are atheist. i think ill put my trust in the smartest people in the world

  • @drbarry00 Well they keep changing there facts on how the world was formed,Ill go with god :)

  • @tswedding2011 your soul will burn in the fire

  • I hate America.

The stupidity to keep believing in "God"

The ridiculous fact this stupid news story made national news

And the way that all news broadcasts are hyped, un-professional and completely biased.

  • @TSWeddings2011 Way to represent your business.....

  • @TSWeddings2011 i hope you dont live in america .. you stupid and way out of line if that was meen think about the kids who can't talk about God in school you dum idiot..

  • this is so wrong we can tell the kids in schools about santa and the easter bunny who we all know arent real. Yet we cant teach the kids bout God come on even if you say God isnt real and you dont want your kid learning about him well then you best not be teaching your kid about the easter bunny and santa because we all know they aint real

  • faux news is fail

  • can I just say, I come from Taunton, ENGLAND and go to Taunton School and when I saw this I was embarrassed that this goes under our catergory, I would be ashamed if my headmaster and teachers felt this way

  • "92% of americans believe in God, Why are we having the argument?"

100% of people in the world 600 years ago though that the world was flat, so good that someone came up with the argument that it is round....

  • @godswayout shut up troll I bet 5 bucks your nit Christian and your just trying to make them look dumb

  • @godswayout stop spamming this video. Youve made youre point. You need to let people find God by themselves and if God is real then He will appear to them in His own way. So stop trying to convince people. You arent helping your cause by being annoying and relentless. God will find his way with or without your voice. May God Bless you and your Efforts. -3

  • YA AND YOUR 1%

  • @godswayout calm down we get it, if god is real then im sure he would be a little freaked out by how crazy u r about him, jesus christ!

  • @GonadsandStride36 GOD IS REAL AND KNOW HE WOULD NOT BE FREAKED OUT. GOD IS GOING TO COME AND WHEN HE DOSE HE IS GOING TO TOSS YOUR DEVIL IN THE FIRE. GOD IS MORE POWERFUL THEN THE DEVIL, AND THATS WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT GETTING IT, THAT SATAN TAKES OVER THERE BODY. AND YOUR SINS IS WHAT KEEPS YOU FROM SEEING GOD. JESUS IS ALIVE TODAY AND FOREVER!

  • JUST TO LET ALL OF YOU KNOW THAT GOD IS REAL AND THAT KID DREW THAT PIC. BECAUSE ITS A MESSAGE TO YOU! AND GOD WILL BE BACK FOR HIS PEOPLE AND JESUS DID DIE ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SINS AND MINE. . AND WHEN GOD COMES HE WILL COME IN A MIGHTY WAY. YOU ARE BLIND AND CANT SEE BECUSE YOU HAVE ALL THESE MATERIAL THINGS AROUND YOU! ITS TIME TO WAKE UP! THAT KID SAW MORE THEN WHAT ANY OF YOU CAN SEE:) GOD BLESS YOU AND AMEN! THANK YOU JESUS AND THANK YOU GOD AND THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT!

  • GODSWAY! YES I DONNA QUINN WROTE THIS BECAUSE ITS TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE! AND ARE SINS IS WHAT PUT JESUS ON THE CROSS AND YES CHRISTMAS IS JESUS IS BIRTHDAY! AND YES WE DO NEED ARE TRADITION TO CHANGE BECUSE GOD IS THE TRUTH! THE DEVIL LIES. AND MAN GOD BLESS YOU, GOD PLEASE FORGIVE HIM FOR HE DOSE NOT KNOW. AMEN!

  • As this idiot put it "That guy" well his name is Jesus and he WAS NOT born on Christmas! Why do people try to attach this man made holiday to Christ? No where in the bible does it say Dec 25th. Most likely it was much warmer because the shepards where out with there flocks. Im just sayin.

  • 3:10 I'd also find the bible inappropriate reading material for 3rd grader, the Kama Sutra is "just a book" is that appropriate?

  • @JACEH123 There's no reason to try and sound wise. lol

  • The teacher and the principal must be in the 8% who don't believe in God.

  • @raran44 Use common sense. Draw Jesus on the side of a cop car and see what happens. You don't draw who you worship in class. You are in school. My mom is Christian and said that she would've done the same. It can be offensive to others, just as if someone Atheist drew something else, or a polytheist drew something else. Respect culture. Because you are "Christian" doesn't make you pious. Don't you stereotypical statements like that. I've seen many Christian murderers.

  • @CALICOTV301 religion is freedom of choice. The kid wasn't hurting anyone or anything. Everyone has freedom of expression and taking offense to something someone else likes is bullshit.

  • @raran44 However, it can be offensive. Example, Pakistan is at war. Muslims kill Christians and the inverse. If I'm a devil worshiper I should be able to walk into school with devil horns on my head is what you are saying? Although Religion is "FREEDOM" of choice, school is private property. When someone sets rules, you abide by them. Can I smoke a cigarette in school? Wear kill all teachers shirt? Do what you want in your house, but you come to school to learn, not impose religious views

  • @raran44 Although you may take up for this kid because religion is behind it, there are 4 billion other rules you must follow in school, and people have been suspended for all of them. Even down to dressing provocative. This is no different. People pay tax money to put kids in school. They go for one thing only, learning math, english, science, etc. Not how to lets your pants sag, learn to smoke, dress like a stripper talk politics, talk religion or none of the above. The rules are simple enough

  • the school principal and the teacher should be the one undergo psychiatric evaluation for suspending a kid for a very meaningful drawing.

  • thous nuber arnt correct u ass hole its closer to 75 percent fucking lier people cheack his percentages be4 u belive him I know his on tv and he shouldnt lie but he fucking is.

  • I might sound crazy but in the background theirs a clown shaped like an arrow and pointing to the empire state building? Is the illumanati telling us the next attack location? Weird

  • I am an atheist and the kid has every right to draw his dying guys nailed to some wood. Just because I am an atheist I dont think he should be fucked with by the school for his religious symbol. He was told that the bible is real and all that stuff by his parents and the church so if anyone would be to blame for anything at all, it would be the parents and the church for teaching them. Now I am not saying they should be blamed, you have every right to believe in whatever you want, stupid or not.

  • @JACEH123 You sound like a complete idiot....

  • @HoustonAnons Please, if you may, be a little more specific next time.

  • omfg heres a TIP chistmas is a real holiday santa and look move the s and n and look u get SATEN bad bad bad and im a SDA to

  • i am christian but i say is no guilt....maybe he was reading the bible when jesus died on a cross.....or maybe the school is being racist......find a ball and suck on it...

  • if i saw that i would feel safe not scared

  • what the fuck are the teachers problems its not like or lord is going jump out of the paper and shoot anyone what's wrong with them! how could that be dangerous?! oh yeah i get it! non-believers don't want anything to do with Christ so they punish the believers?! yup... these guys are acting like the Nazis but of instead of jews there hating on people who believe in god

  • I want to "like" this video because I completely agree with Glenn Beck, but I don't want it to seem as though I like that the kid was suspended. Praise Jesus that He has given us the power to overcome. "...When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly..." 1Corinthians 4:12-13

  • that kid sucks at drawing

  • I am an atheist and detest Glenn Beck but on this he is right. Both schools reacted terribly to this situation.

Now if you will excuse me I have to wash my self in acid to clean of the feeling of have agreed with Glen Beck.

  • This is incredible, I cannot believe that that teacher immediately assumed that he was drawing a picture of something inappropriate instead of asking what it was before she made any assumptions. The school needs to realize that this is religious imagery, it's a picture of Yeshua (Jesus) for God's sake! The instant they took Yeshua (Jesus) out of the schools everything went to shits!

  • I'm a Muslim and I say this is Crazy, Those teachers made me mad although this is not my religion.

Everyone has the right to believe and practise their religion, even if they are a minority, so how if they are a majority?? that is rediculous.

  • I wonder How is someone life without Christianity with Jesus as the man Central.

  • This is what happens in the USA where teachers are payed with liquor

  • Christianity IS NOT a RELIGION! Religion are hummans trying to work their way to God BUT Christianty itself IS GOD! Building a relationship with Jesus Christ and if you dont agree with this statement i encourage you to research it.

  • FUCK SCHOOL =/

  • most religious people i have met have been complete pricks to me for being an atheist, (granted i know some are nice, and i thank them) but i wish that this stupid religion bullshit would quick controlling this damn country. i mean if some black kid who got kicked out of school is important enough to be on the news, thats a problem.

  • @TechnoxHeadxStudios You wouldn't have liked this country for the first 115 yrs or so then.....because most of our founding fathers were Christians and the Bible was taught in our public schools back then.

  • @countryboy1949 yeah but just simply teaching religion instead of forcing the goddamn religion is much better in my opinion. i mean today most christians spend their time on mission trips telling the indigenous people that their religion is wrong and they will go to hell unless they are christian. or they are chastising public media and such. its all complete bullshit and you know it.

  • @countryboy1949 What a load of crap. Jefferson was a deist. The man who wrote the declaration. If anything the Constitution is clear on is the separation of church and state. How convenient you pick and choose what you want to support your bias

  • @TechnoxHeadxStudios I totally agree. Religion and color are the biggest nemeses. Christians dislike me because I'm atheist. They don't realize that A-Theist and A-Typical (or the A just means the opposite). They think because you don't believe in the unseen, that you have no guidance. I have a valid reason for not believe. It logic. I think everyone is so afraid of not believe, and they look forward to the superstition. It's like when people believe the earth was flat.

  • @TechnoxHeadxStudios : u r an idiot, racial bastard and god help you !

  • @TechnoxHeadxStudios : u r an idiot, racial bastard and god help you !

  • @TechnoxHeadxStudios im christian and i am ok with you

  • The country was founded as secular. Not Christian. Just because most of America believes in a "god" does not mean they all believe in the same one. GB is so awful.

  • @manaeldar Almost all the founding fathers were Christian....not deists as we are led to believe...this country was founded on acknowledging God...you will find no example of the founding fathers practicing "separation of church and state"........not one.

  • Please... While some of the founding fathers were religious others, and sometimes prominent ones were anti-clerical or vocal about their opposition to organized religion, such as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.

The deceleration of independence shows evidence of the agreement on the separation of church and state in the FIRST amendment.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

    Thus separating church from state.

  • @northernsupernova1 You might want to get your facts right before you go posting them in public....give me one example of Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin practicing "separation of church and state" as we are made to do today?

  • ALL the founding fathers agreed on the separation of church and state, proved in writing by the first amendment.

1st amendment. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

So, the state is not to make any law to force people to follow any religion, and you are free to follow whatever religion you like.

You are not bound by law (forced by state) to be part of any church. This separates church and state.

  • @northernsupernova1 Give me one example of the "founding fathers" practicing the "separation of church and state" as we're made to practice today by the courts.

  • Whats your deal? why do you keep repeating this question?

The point is that the church and state are separated by law.

It is clear that church and state are separate.

Are you forced to be part of a church or religion in the USA? no

The first amendment is how you say the founding fathers practiced the "separation of church and state" as ALL the founding fathers wrote down into the constitution to separate church and state.

  • @countryboy1949 Benjamin franklin was an atheist, and he belived that religion and state should be seperate, as it should remain in the private domain. Hence to prevent discrimination that was going on in the rest of the world. America was in a sense the first sekular country in the world. I dissagree with this decission of censureship as it is a private decission made by the people, however the teachers may not force or endorse religion and should not be a prerquisit.

  • ps. "When a Religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its Professors are obliged to call for help of the Civil Power, it is a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one." - Benjamin Franklin (from a letter to Richard Price, October 9, 1780;)

  • Please try to understand this SIMPLE concept.

The beauty of the USA is that you have the FREEDOM to practice whatever religion you want (or not any at all if you like).

Because the church and the state are separated by law (devised by the founding fathers). You are not made to do anything religious.

In a country where church and state are not separate (ie Iran) you are forced to practice a religion (Islam), as the law is bound to the religion. and there is only one religion, no freedom

  • i was drawing pussies all the time when i was eight

  • 92% of Americans believe in god? I'm calling 100% bullshit on that. Maybe 92% of ranchers in Texas believe in god. That I would buy.

  • 1. What is the source for this pole?

    2. Christmas is not Jesus' birthday. Most scholars speculate his birthday was in the spring.

    3. 15% of the country (or more) does not prescribe to a religion.

    4. There is this weird little clause in the constitution that SEPARATES church and state (i.e. school).

    5. The bible isn't appropriate in schools-- just think about all the hookers and violence.

  • I knew fox news was going to go ape shit over this story.

  • lol, i just watch this on the young turks, and they said, "just wait til fox news hears about this"lol

  • Man....Where they do dat at!!! I'll never moved there!

  • Calling a crucifixion sketch as violent is vertainly teachers mistake. But see how he tries to put that story with a correct teacher reaction to reading Bible by a 3 yr old. It is obviously not appropriate to do so without adult supervision. Most passages can be easily misunderstand... grown ups misunderstand them all the time! Another thing he tried to do is to paint both stories as religion vs atheism, which is incorrect and so were his statistics and calling America a faith based nation.

  • Hey Glenn, why dont you go back to smoke crack in a dark alley.

  • @nickbeau1 i think he was looking for prejudace...makes more sense than racist lol

  • That is not true we are not a faith based country. This guy is such an asshole!

  • Glenn Beck. Oh, goodness.

  • I don't EVER agree with Glenn Beck, but this one time, I do agree, religion, although should be separated government, should not be treated in this manner. If one chooses to draw and/or read anything religious should not be scolded. This is what america was founded on. I'm a muslim and I would be appalled if my teachers were to scold me for such beliefs. Glenn, I applaud you on this, but don't think i like you :p

  • This should not have happened to either one of these kids.

From a Christian's point of view, what happened to these kids should not come as a surprise, because it clearly states in the Bible... "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

From the secular world-view, it appears that the child needs psychological counseling.

Only one "person" can be right...

    Man's view or God's view.

    I have chosen God's.

  • I agree~the founding fathers are probably turning over in their graves about now.

  • im a very strong atheist. but this is bullshit. the kid drew a picture of jesus. so whatr. dont fucking suspend him. OR DONT DO ANYTHING AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER !!!!! ITS FREEDOM OF RELIGION. I DONT AGREE WITH CHRISTIANS< I THINK THE BIBLE IS BULLSHIT BUT FUCKING DAMMIT I WILL DEFEND THIS KID TO THE DEATH!!!!

  • Almost all the reading material in the schools isn't appropriate. Once the school is faced with truth they wanna run the other way. Kids read all kinds on stuff in school, but they cant read the bible if they want to, thats weird

  • I honestly don't know why those teachers suspended that kid for drawing the crucifiction. But I have to agree with the teacher saying that the bible is not appropriate reading matterial in school. You would know why if you actually read some verses of it.

  • @Rx925 why isnt it? the bible is the basis of a whole religion...the bible was the book that that girl wanted to read to express her faith..please...tell me whats not appropriate?

  • @darklord2626 well here is a few verses that are not very tasteful, Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT), "If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB), I would put more but there is not enough characters left.

  • if 92% of americans believe in god then why are there 16% non believers? Once again the joker aka beck has struck ladies and gentlemen

  • @rishi007316 6% idiot..and its called athieism..but i..am a catholic

  • an 8 year old drawing a guy dieing on a cross... the kid should be put to sleep

  • WELCOME TO SOCIALIST AMERICA SEIG HEIL

    wheres my pass port

  • did you know that 9 out od 10 people agree that the tenth person will never agree with them.....lulz

  • You know those atheists who give other athiests a bad name...

  • 100% of my mind is wondering where Glenn Beck gets 100% of his facts from

  • Most of what he says is historical fact.

  • Woah, Hold Up!!!!! Even though we don't believe in Jesus Christ, they should still respect our religion!

  • That's right. The founders stood for that as well. Most we Christian.

  • we may not all believe in the same God but the government and the school system should respect our beliefs. since when is a picture of Jesus Christ dangerous? Since when was the Bible not appropriate. In the pledge of allegiance it evens says "Under God", we were founded by Christians. Later on more religions mixed into America and made America Diverse with culture. And im fine with that. wat im not fine with is a minority of atheists who control a majority of religous ppl

  • @nhatkhoi13 You are exactly right and the founders would agree and be shocked at what is not being allowed in our schools today. When it was allowed in their day and the founders did not see it as unconstitutional.

  • 92% of Americans believe in God? I don't believe that. Reply if you participated in the survey to gather that statistic.

  • That's your opinion because you probably don't believe in God........92% believe in God is probably pretty close.

  • That's my opinion, because of observation, not because I don't believe in God. If asked, most people will say something along the lines of "I believe in a higher power." or "I'm spiritual, but I don't believe in the teachings of organized religion" or "I was raised Catholic (or other)"

  • I agree 100% on the news part of that, but what Glenn read into it... oh god.

  • hey its mass. and NJ ,what do we expect?

  • I have no religion. Do i need to read the bible and draw jesus?

  • @iH8beingHUMAN......i would srongly suggest that you do but its your choice....try it out for a month, if you dont see god then either he doesnt exist or you didnt lokk for god right...

  • @MrCurdo If you truely religious then you would know that God draws people. Man does not go and look for him waist deep in the deluted mindset of the south and Fox news. Religion is pointless, bottom line. It should be viewed as a culture, and in the future that's all it will be, just as the ancient greeks, the egyptians, etc.

  • @RyanStash That's not what the Bible says. It says his word and the Christian religion will live forever. It appears we are in the last days (end times) just before Christ's return.

  • Yes, and they also said that the Titanic would never sink.. but guess what, it did. The Bible was written by man, that much is fact.

  • no i am not religious....that is only an institutuion....i am faithful in God....and aboout that remark about greeks, egyptians ect.....christianity was around before that and obviously still is today.....have you ever wondered why?*god bless*=D

  • There are two things with what you said. Christianity was established 33 AD at Penecost in the second chapter of Acts where 120 people could speak in tongues and blah blah blah. Fact of the matter is, that Christianity was NOT around before the Egyptians. And to answer your question about why it's around today, is because people are willfully ignorant and they need comfort, and religions gives them a false sense of comfort, which is sad.

  • Most ppl r a bunch of hypocrits. Yes we are a nation mainly founded in God... but then again most ppl have 4gotten about their family values n forgot the true meaning of Xmas which this kid remembers. u go kid!!!

  • @ninashadows777 luls we're not a nation founded in god

  • 98% of the 66% that say they are celebrating Christmas for Jesus are lying...I propose we change Christmas to Consumermas and move the celebration of Christ's birth to a date that was never a pagan holiday. Then we will see what the real "reason for the season" is. I would put my money on Santa winning that battle.

  • I'm black. This is not about race. Probably been the same way if the kid was white.

  • The real risk is being in the hands of people that deny God. Thats the world we live in. They will answer to God one day and what a day that is going to be.

  • BLACC POWER THIS WAS A RACIST SHIIT

  • Comment removed

  • @DAHOUSERECORDS...... How was it racist, it didn't make fun of someone's race... You are saying that this is racist then you say "BLACC POWER" wouldn't that make you racist?

  • THIS IS RACIST PERIOD

  • fox news sucks...

  • This is yet another perfect example of why Glenn Beck is a fucking idiot.

Religion and blind faith have no room in a public classroom. The teacher did the right thing. Any family forcing Christianity or any religion upon their child is one of bad judgment. Let the child discover their own path when they are mature enough to do so.

Besides, Beck saying "HURRR 92% BELIEVE IN JEZUZ" doesn't prove anything. What if we're all wrong? That just means 92% of us are idiots.

  • @NiGHTSChao689 The founding fathers would disagree with you. 92% believing in Jesus proves we're still a Christian nation. 92% are idiots is your opinion only...not the majority opinion. Your in the minority.

  • No, actually you complete fucking moron.

The founding fathers were deist, like myself. Part of deism is a strong belief against organized religion and that it is a personal relation to God only. The founding fathers were strong believers in Deism, and based the birth of the country upon that idea.

92% believing in something does not mean anything. Nor do I even believe that bullshit number.

Doing some ACTUAL research, the number is closer to 72% (2008 Pew RC).

  • Who is it that doesn't know their history? You my friend., but your not by yourself. The founders weren't all deists, they believed in Jesus and spoke of him. All you purport is only your opinion and history doesn't back it up. You are repeating what you learned in school and it's not all factual. I have studied the founders for years and I guarantee you the truth is not what you think it is.

  • Thomas Paine was anti-Christian-founding father.

  • I never learned anything about the founding fathers in my school, my knowledge is done from self-research over several years of religious and psychological study.

You telling me "hurrr I studied founders for years" doesn't prove a single thing to me, if anything you are in the same boat with my argument. Good job.

  • Well you might want to do some more research because your dead wrong about the founders all being diets...that's what the modern day line is....it's not what the founders believed.

Then you telling me that you self-researched "religious and psychological study" doesn't mean anything either. Good Job!

  • You can't even spell correctly, how can I take you seriously? You're just pulling shit out of your ass just like Glenn Beck.

My "hurr self-researched" experience has been through something called: "college"

  • @NiGHTSChao689 Yeah and you can't spell without using four letter words, so we're even. Ok college yeah they sure taught you the truth about the founders didn't they. Just as bad as public school as far as history of the founding fathers. Most of the founders were Christian except for three or four maybe and even then they were more Christian than you think.

I can back up my statements on the founders~ you can take that to the bank.

  • x'D You are a funny person, but the argument isn't going anywhere when you misinterpret my words incorrectly. As for your magical basis for the founding fathers being "more Christian than I think" I can't help but laugh at that statement. You have yet to show any evidence proving your point while you excessively state you can. The founding fathers created this nation on the basis of separation of church and state. Yet that silly faith has warped that vision and created the corrupt nation today.

  • @NiGHTSChao689 Ok smart guy and you haven't showed me any evidence for your stand either. The founders did not create "separation of church and state" as we practice it today. You can not give me one example of them practicing it like we are made to do. You don't know what your talking about. I have been researching this since you were in diapers.

  • @NiGHTSChao689 Why did we read the Bible in public schools until the 1960s if the founders were following "separation of church and state" as we are made to do today? Why was one of the first acts of the Second Continental Congress on September 11, 1777 was to order the printing of 20,000 Bibles paid for by the U.S. Congress with public money, and inside the cover of those Bibles it says that they were for use in our schools.

  • Good lord.. you are such an idiot..

GEEEE, maybe because RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN POWER were the ones supporting such notions...

    Use common sense buddy -___-;

  • Idiot? Well let's see, let's use some of that common sense you refer to~ If the founders believed in "separation of church and state" as we are made to do today, the things I referenced to would violate the 1st amendment and they wouldn't have done them. Remember they had just made the Constitution into LAW after fighting a war. Let's try using some of that common sense you refer to.

  • x'D

So you're implying the founding father didnt believe in separation of church and state?

*walks away laughing*. You are very ignorant.

  • Your not following me~think out of the box. I'm saying they didn't believe in it like the courts from 1960s on make us follow the 1st amendment today. Because the founders didn't mean for it to ban the Bible ,religious speech, etc. like the courts do today. You can't find an example of the founders following "separation of church and state" like the courts make us do today. I'm saying the law (1st) that they wrote doesn't mean what we're told it does today.

  • That last story was sad. Both were sad, but the last one was insane. I wouldn't have put my Bible away.

  • That is one wacked out school. Not the first story I have heard like this and it won't be the last.

  • Go read David Limbaugh's book "Persecution." It's loaded with hundreds of similar stories. This has been going on for years.

  • Jesus was not the first God to be born on December 25th, there were many other Pagan Gods who came before him with that birthdate. Second, I'd say the bible is an inappropriate book because it teaches hate, violence and sexism. Do not suffer a witch to live, kill Pagans, do not let women speak in church and ask their husbands if they want to know anything. It's a shame for women to speak in church. It's a very hateful book indeed.

  • Blue fire witch, you are a hypocrite.. you believe in abortion and you are calling christians hatefull.. please repent and turn to jesus today. What they did to this kid is wrong period

  • I didn't write that, someone was using my computer. But I'm not sure how abortion is hateful. I think it's humane.

  • I personally think that kids should be able to believe what they want, but I'm not sure we know the whole story.

  • I think that whats happening is alot of bias... both towards believers and non believers... bottom line they are not their parents. leave them alone agree?

  • I think both kids were expressing their religious freedom, or at least, from what I've seen. (I'd like to further investigate.) But, if they are the way Beck describes them (I don't trust Beck too much) then I'd say both schools were out of bounds. I have a friend who's son's teacher sent him to the office because when they were supposed to draw a picture of something for the holidays, he drew the sun with a pentacle on it. They said his image was "hateful." It seems the incidences are similar

  • @Nephtali1981

Veo que viste esto tambien. ¿Increible no? ¡Ahora no podemos leer la biblia! Eso nos hace loco.

  • Really, no other "gods" birthday really matters because like you said they were pagan gods. And of course, people know pagan gods are dull and full of nothingness. Second, the bible is not an inappropriate book because sure it REEFERS those things, but only because A.) it happened, B.) the Old Testament is an account of God's acts in the past, and lastly it doesn't teach those things. I think you have a wrong picture of not only the bible, but of God in general....

  • Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th. No one knows the day of His birth. The bible does not tell us His birth.

  • BFW, or whomever was using your account, the whole "copycat savior" argument is a myth that's been completely debunked.

  • Tell me about it.

  • It hasn't been completely debunked. In fact, I've seen no unbiased studies whatsoever.

  • Then you are either ignorant or blind. Willfully so for both. And I've never seen an unbiased presentation of the claim that Jesus is a "copycat savior."

Anyway, the whole "copycat savior" bit completely crumbles when even just one part of it is proven false. Take, for example, Mithra's and Jesus births'. Under the "copycat" belief, they were both born in a cave. While under some traditions, Jesus was born in a cave, Mithras was actually born from a rock and made a cave.
