The wise man is an Israelite that can obey his own law....the Law of Moses
The fertile ground is an Isrealite that planted in the law of Moses and harvested success in obedience.
gather the wheat.. is the Israelites that obeyed the Law of Moses.

Why would you use a script that was written in 1611? Language is dynamic. It changes, progresses, develops. Some words have ameliorated and others flipped meaning in the last 400 years .The translators of the AV famously wanted the ploughboy to be able to read God's word. If they were here today - they would tell you to modernise.
