  • I wish the coders would have a site where they explained how they pulled these effects off. This would be hard enough on a C64, but on a Vic-20!??

  • The first demo just to demonstrate the Vic20 CAN do demo effects like on C64. And still the best music...

  • Wow!!!

  • That's pretty wild! You made the system sound like a Commodore 64, and the wire-frame animation was really impressive to boot!

  • Oh my god. Arpeggios at the very end... in the beginning they make you believe a VIC-20 has just to sound like that. But then at 04:42...

  • Yes.. I was responsible for the first three pieces of music, up to 2:55. Popcorn and the final tune were written by another guy (Jonas) using his own, partly proprietary player which had more features than the one I got to work with.

Since then, I have written VIC-20 music for demos such as VIMM, VIMMII and a few more productions. My player routines have also improved slightly, although not yet implementing Viznut Waveforms.

  • That Metablob effect starting at 3:00 is AWESOME!

  • Amazing. I still own a VIC and I will be digging it out of the cellar again. I feel inspired.
