This is not a documentary it is a docudrama. Arnold said himself that a lot of the conflict was made up. In fact, originally, Lou was supposed to be the bad guy, but he really didn't fit the part so Arnold decided to do it. It's all acting people. Even the thing between Mike Katz And Ken Waller was staged. The only real part of this is the sport itself and the competition. They just added some drama to help sell the movie.
