  • I used to have one ecactly like it. Bought in 1997. I still have the restore disk. Is it worth anything?

  • @MrMinecrafterEXTreme I don't know. I don't even own this machine anymore.

  • 1:55 did you fart?

  • @mruppel2 No, that was the chair.

  • @thyssenelevator95 hahah sorry, I just noticed you saying that your chair was making those noises

  • @mruppel2 That's ok. I was serious when I said "it's the chair!" in the video, lol.

  • At 2:12, you turn on the computer.

  • "For no unexplained reason" is a double negative. Please use proper grammar.

  • get it a 40 gb hdd and try to put mac os x cheetah. if not mac os x do mac os 9.

  • no internet? y not?

  • @steventean I don't have telnet, and the telephone port doesn't work anymore. Also, I have no 10-base T ethernet card for it.

  • @thyssenelevator95 Go buy a Comm Slot II Ethernet card and you'll be able to get it online. You should also upgrade the OS to 8.6.

  • AAAAAH TRIPOD!!! TRIPOD PLEASE!!!!

  • 1080p is 1920x 1080 that screen is only capable of 800x 600 you are an idiot

  • @gumbyistella It is more than capable of displaying 800 x 600. The Macintosh lets it go up to 1024 x 768. On a Windows machine I can get it up to 1080P.

  • @thyssenelevator95 1024x768 might be the Maxiumum the Macintosh will do but it can't display 1080p. You may set it to a high resolution but it not actually displaying it that high.

  • That's one classic piece of shit! ;)

  • is it possible to run power macintosh on the ipad? i know it IS possible but has anyone been able to do it?

  • the tower actually has a built in subwoofer too, and that zip drive slot can fit a hard drive in it thats what I use my extra port for. also i run os9 on mine. I never could get ethernet working on it maybe the card i got for it was shot, but i did get it on internet by putting in usb and a wireless usb card. Also you can use a universal remote so you could use it to turn the computer off and on.

  • Shit, that think is fucking HEAVY. My 24" iMac is 25.4lbs total! All in one! The keyboard and mouse probably add another .5/1 lb onto it, but still!

  • Thats some hi-tech shit right there...

  • bloody great

  • Just google for Aries-Films and download over 300 tools for video and audiot editing for PC and MAC.. its like goldmine for videoeditors

  • I *love* this Mac and I hope to purchase one soon. My neighbors gave a full Mac setup like you got, except it was a 1993 Quadra 610 :) You're running System 7, but if you upgrade the RAM (dirt cheap these days) you could run OS 8 or OS 9 and really deck it out.

  • Man i love classic macs. I have a powermac g4 with a powerpc g4 and mac os x 10.4.11. thanks for the upload =D. btw i will upload a video of my mac soon ;-)

  • Thinkin' Things was the bomb! Used to play that all the time in kindergarten and the first grade!

I have an Apple IIC that I play around with sometimes. This PowerMac is awesome though. Definitely don't see those boot-up and shutdown speeds anymore!! =)

  • nice. i have a macintosch classic somewhere, has a floppy drive, a small black-white screen, all built in a small box.

  • I have a Mac, but mine isn't nearly as old as that one. Mine is from 2009 and yours is from 1997 (major age difference). My grandmother got her computer hit by lightning 2 times, and it was through the phone line like what happened to that one. Cool video.
